December 22nd 2012
Coverage of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVAs comes to a close with the final episode and some extra pages such as a voice actor list and Q & A. This last episode is another one I've had to split into two parts due to how much stuff happens in the last battle.
December 22nd 2012
Another new JoJo episode.
December 21st 2012
The heroes reach the mansion, but are they ready to deal with both Dio and Vanilla Ice? Find out in today's JoJo episode. I've also uploaded a web comic that my brother made several years a go: Idiotheque! The comic is still around on Tripod, but the version I've uploaded here removes broken links and doesn't have any ads.
Finally, the video game regional differences section has been revamped. Games are grouped by the consoles they are on, so the layout is a lot neater than before. The following games have been added: Street Fighter III 2nd Impact, Street Fighter EX Plus @, Street Fighter EX 2 Plus and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
Some games that were previously covered in this section have been updated with more differences: Final Fight 2 (several small edits) Shadow Squadron (MCTV64 logo, different difficulty settings and ship colors), Soul Blade (Li Long's weapon being different), Starfox (different title and menu screens, Andorf/Andross) Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Rose's ending being censored), Streets of Rage 2 (defeated enemies counter) Vampire Savior (blood censorship, more info on the unused "Darkstalkers: Jedah's Damnation" title).

Put your best poker face on for today's JoJo episode. Due to how this one plays out I've had to split it into two parts.
December 19th 2012
The fight against N'Dour concludes in today's JoJo episode.
December 18th 2012
Another new JoJo episode. This is the first episode from the ones released between 1993 and 1994, and has a completely different (and in my opinion, much better) animation style than the previously uploaded episodes.
December 17th 2012
New JoJo episode. I've also added a new game video, this time for Street Fighter: Real Battle on Film.
December 16th 2012
J. Geil's mother wrecks havoc for Hol Horse and Polnareff in today's JoJo episode.
December 15th 2012
Find out if Polnareff and Kakyoin can defeat The Hanged Man in today's JoJo episode.
December 14th 2012
Another new JoJo episode.
December 13th 2012
A new JoJo episode. I've also added a prototype page for the arcade version of Final Fight -there isn't much in it, but I've had those unused Guy sprites on my hard drive for a while, so there they are.
December 12th 2012
Look at that date. 12.12.12. That's the last one of those kind of things we'll ever see! Anyway, today's update brings even more cartoon coverage. A decent and not so decent couple of video game adaptions in the form of Street Fighter Alpha: The Animation and Street Fighter IV: The Ties that Bind, a terrible sequel in Mortal Kombat Annihilation and something I meant to do several years a go: Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge. Finally, The Star Wars Holiday Special has also been re-done with new images and text.
Something completely new and good is coverage of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The first two episodes are up right now, expect one episode a day in the run up to Christmas. The series I'm covering is the OVA series-which had 6 episodes released between 1993 and 1994, and then seven episodes released in 2000 and 2002. I've started with the 2000-2002 episodes as those ones are set before the 90's ones.
Malik Dahmani sent me some magazine scans which previewed the original version of Shinobi III -those are here and here now if you want to see them. He also sent me a scan of a review of the final version, which is here.
Some new game music has been uploaded, with a couple of tracks from Batman Returns and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. The game videos page has also been updated, with videos for the Real Bout Garou Densetsu series, Garou Densetsu Wild Ambition, Vampire Hunter and Vampire Savior. The rage quitters section has also had a couple of additions.
I've added some new links for the following sites and Youtube channels: THE BEST GAMERS, Loud House, Gaming Hell, Snopes, Horsey Surprise, Play4Real and Game Journalists are Incompetent Fuckwits.
A couple of more things to round this update off: I removed the link to my blog as I wasn't using it enough, and hotlinking has now been disabled. Too many people were using images from the site in their avatars and signatures. I don't mind if people take images but uses something like Photobucket for that. So if you happen to see a whole lot of finger-wagging Metal Sonics all of a sudden...
August 23rd 2012
Here comes the update to end all updates. First of all, the Shinobi III shrine has been updated, and now has a new layout along with new features not seen before. Obscure regional differences? Check. 6 button pad support cheat? Check. New prototype videos? Check. But the shrine is no longer just about Shinobi III, as there is now stuff about The Revenge of Shinobi and Shadow Dancer. Check.
Next off, the cartoon coverage section has had a massive update. For Transformers fans, there are remade pages for The Headmasters, Super-God Masterforce, Victory and Zone. The images are clearer and the text has either been rewritten or heavily edited so it is actually readable and has punctuation and doesn't go on forever without a comma or a full stop unlike before. Transformers: The Movie and G.I. Joe: The Movie have also been re-done, with images taken from the newer, remastered DVDs. In terms of totally new content, see the adventures of International Rescue in Thunderbirds, learn how unfun nuclear war is for old people in When the Wind Blows, learn how unfun nuclear war is for everyone in Threads, more trashy video game anime in Samurai Shodown and witness giant robots come ever so close to fighting each other in Transformers: Scramble City. MOOORTAL KOMBAT!
Coverage of the first live action movie, The Journey Begins and Defenders of the Realm is also up.
The game videos page has also been updated with lots of new additions, including playthroughs of Dead or Alive, multiple versions of The King of Fighters '94-'99, Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter Streets of Rage 2, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II X, Virtua Fighter and X-Men Vs. Street Fighter.
The music section has had a big update, with tunes added from Darkstalkers, Dynamite Headdy, King of Fighters XIII, OutRunners, Policenauts, Quackshot, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo. The toy reviews section has had the first update in a while, with reviews of Decepticon Piranacon and the 2010 Animatron re-issue. The links page has some new entries, the rage quitters section has had a small update and as you've hopefully seen, the layout of the main page is also different. Finally, the silly stuff section makes a return here, for all of your German Dictionary Nazi Edition needs.
April 1st 2012
The best day of the year! A brand new fan fiction story, and the long awaited arrival of the heavily requested Rage Quitter 87 Hentai section! Hot stuff. Plus a new comic from Yegar! In serious news, there are now links to GameWTFs, and Street Fighter Miscellany. Plus an update to the Marvel Vs. Capcom prototype pages section -an unused assist character has been found!
