The series is an adaption of Hirohiko Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga, specifically adapting portions of the Stardust Crusaders storyline. The series has seen a few releases on various formats, including video and laserdisc, but as of 2023 the best way to own this is to buy the DVDs. In America, Super Techno Arts released the series on six DVD sets, most volumes contain two episodes. Unfortunately these DVDs, especially the last three volumes, have become very pricey to buy. Hopefully one day the OVAs will get a blu-ray release, otherwise be prepared to pay a lot of money to own the DVDs.
For the English dub, Vanilla Ice had his name changed to "Iced". This also effected the title of the episode he's in.
