Synopsis

In Egypt, Dio thinks about how his body has sent a signal to his enemies, and given them new Stand abilities. Enya tells him not to concern himself, as plans have already been made to deal with the Joestars. In Japan, Jotaro is walking to school and sees someone down below. As he starts walking down some steps, something cuts his leg, causing him to fall. He finds the guy, Noriaki Kakyoin, was the one who cut him, using his own Stand, Hierophant Green. Kakyoin says he has pledged loyalty to Dio, and has his Stand possess a girl. He uses her to attack Jotaro.

Jotaro uses his own Stand to remove Hierophant Green from the girl. Hierophant Green unravels, and uses a projectile attack called the emerald splash. Jotaro's Stand is hit by this, and Jotaro himself is knocked back. Hierophant Green uses the same attack again, but Jotaro's Stand deflects it, and then punches down Hierophant Green, defeating Kakyoin.

Jotaro takes Kakyoin back to his home. Joseph says Kakyoin will die due to being implanted with one of Dio's flesh buds, which cannot be removed without killing the host. However, using his Stand, Jotaro is able to remove it without killing Kakyoin. The group then hear a crash nearby, and find Holy has collapsed. They see that she also has a Stand, a plant based one which is growing out of her back. Joseph and Avdol believe that due to Holy's quiet and gentle nature means she can't control her Stand, and it is in danger of killing her. The only way they can save her is by defeating Dio, but they don't know where he is.

Kakyoin looks at the image of the fly Jotaro's Stand drew, and recognizes it as being one from the Aswan area of Egypt. He says he'll go with them, and the group head off to the Speedwagon Foundation's private jet. Before they board it, Avdol gives Jotaro's Stand a name: Star Platinum. As they head to the plane, they are unaware that a man has been watching them from a nearby hanger. In Egypt, Dio realizes his enemies have figured out his whereabouts. He tells Enya that they're coming here to Egypt...
