Synopsis
Having arrived in India, Jotaro's group enter a restaurant. As Polnareff uses the rest room, he comes across a strange sight: a man entering through a window behind him, but he can only see him when looking at a mirror. The man is about to attack, so Polnareff uses his Stand to destroy the mirror, which makes his would-be attacker vanish. But he does see that the man has two right hands, and realizes a Stand user must be nearby. He rushes outside but can't see anyone suspicious. Avdol goes out and tells him to wait and calm down, leading to Polnareff yelling at him.
Later on, Polnareff decides to leave the group, wanting to confront his sister's killer and saying that he does not care about Dio. Despite Avdol's reservations, Joseph lets him go. As Polnareff heads off by himself, he is followed by Hol Horse, a Stand user who controls the Emperor. His partner, J. Geil, is the man Polnareff is looking for, and he controls the Hanged Man Stand. Hol Horse meets up with J. Geil in a desert, as J. Geil's can control his Stand from a long distance away. They come up with a plan to kill Polnareff first.
Polnareff receives news of where the man with two right hands is, not knowing that Hol Horse had bribed the beggar earlier. Jotaro's group have gotten a truck, but they get stuck in traffic. Worried about Polnareff, they decide to split up and find him. Meanwhile, Polnareff finds Hol Horse, but doesn't care about him since he doesn't have two right hands. However Hol Horse says he did come here with that man. Realizing he'll have to beat him to get more info, Polnareff gets into a fight.
Hol Horse's Stand is a gun, and he fires a single shot. Polnareff attempts to have Silver Chariot slice the bullet up, but Hol Horse can also control the bullet, and he comes close to shooting Polnareff in the head. Avdol finds and saves Polnareff just in time, but the bullet is still a danger -Hol Horse can still control the bullet. Avdol summons Magician's Red to burn it down, but before he can, the Hanged Man appears on the reflection of a puddle, and stabs Avdol in the back.
Distracted, Avdol is unable to avoid being shot in the head. Kakyoin arrives to find Avdol dead, and Polnareff says Avdol liked to lecture others too much -look where it got him. Kakyoin can't believe what he just said, as Avdol saved him. Polnareff says he never asked Avdol to do that, and he was such a meddler. A guy like that becomes a drag, which is why he said he wanted to do this alone. Kakyoin asks him if he even knows what he's saying. Polnareff turns around and says it's annoying... having people dying around him is so damn annoying!
-Between the end of the previous episode and the start of this one, the manga has a couple of extra stories which weren't adapted for the OVAs. In the manga, Polnareff fights with Devo, whilst Jotaro takes on Rubber Soul. Neither of these characters feature in the OVAs.
-When Polnareff goes to the bathroom, someone gives him a stick in the manga. He wonders what it's for, and then finds a live pig waiting in the toilet! A member of staff tells him to hit the pig with the stick, then use the toilet -the pig will even lick his butt clean! Polnareff decides to hold on until he gets to the hotel. This scene isn't in the episode.
-Hol Horse rides around on an elephant in the manga. In the episode, he has a motorcycle.
-The scene where Hol Horse instructs the beggar on what to do is not in the manga.
-Kakyoin does not get a truck for the group in the manga.
-When Hol Horse first confronts Polnareff, J. Geil is briefly seen walking with him in the manga. In the episode, he's not there.
-The bullet doesn't break one of Polnareff's earrings in the manga like it does in the episode.
-Starting with this episode, the intro sequence has a new part towards the end of it, briefly showing Joseph, Avdol, Kakyoin, Polnareff and Jotaro.
