Synopsis

The Decepticons fail to steal a new super fuel the Autobots are guarding. Tired of the Autobot's advantage on the roads, Rumble steals several vehicles, which Megatron then modifies to turn them into Transformers. Calling his new group the Stunticons, they are mindless drones who need Cybernetic personalities. Megatron knows they need to head to Cybertron to use Vector Sigma, the planet's master computer that gave them all life. The group go to Cybertron, where Shockwave reveals a key is needed to use Vector Sigma. He's found out that Alpha Trion has the key.

The Decepticons go to where Alpha Trion is and beat him up. Megatron takes the key, as he and the rest of his group leave and head deeper into the planet. The Autobots, having found out about the stolen cars and the space bridge activity, use Omega Supreme to get to Cybertron. They find a badly damaged Alpha Trion, who they repair. They then go after the Decepticons. The Decepticons are attacked by a group of robots called Centurions, but when they see Megatron has the key, they stop. Megatron uses the key's powers to instruct them to attack the Autobots.

The Decepticons then find Vector Sigma, which Megatron activates. He asks the computer to give the Stunticons personalities, which it does. Meanwhile, the Autobots are attacked by the Centurions, but they manage to trick them into following a bunch of old drones. The drones are sent to run off a ledge, and the Centurions follow them and fall. As this is happening, the Decepticons head back to Earth, and Megatron tells the Stunticons this world is theirs to tear apart.

The Autobots reach Vector Sigma, but realize they are too late. Optimus has an idea to combat the Decepticons, by creating a new group of Autobots to battle them in the skies. He suggests they modify some old shuttles they saw earlier into Earth-style jets. Back on Earth, the Stunticons attack a military base. As they drive around and smash things up, some of the army guys realize that these cars have no drivers -and a General says that they must be Autobots!

Notes

-When the Autobots are being led towards Vector Sigma by Alpha Trion, Prime says "it's a miracle we survived that blast" and then a few seconds later states "with any luck, that explosion will be the last of Megatron's surprises". These lines are referencing a scene cut from the episode. The dialogue for this scene was potentially recorded, but whether or not it actually animated remains unknown.

-As mentioned below, there is an error where Rumble's eyes flash gray and red. But later on, when Teletraan I displays the same footage, the error doesn't happen -Rumble's eyes stay red for the entire shot.

Errors

-Prime's trailer is missing the Autobot insignia during this shot.
-When Prime leaves the tunnel, the back end of his trailer overlaps it.
-Megatron's left arm is colored differently from the rest of his body during this shot.
-When Rumble takes his first car, his eyes are colored gray. As he drives off, his eyes flash gray to red several times.
-The idea that Vector Sigma is needed to give a Transformer life goes against what was seen in S.O.S. Dinobots and War of the Dinobots, where the Autobots simply built new Transformers which had distinct (if primitive) personalities without Vector Sigma's help.
