Synopsis

On Titan, Talaria leads a resistance movement against Jero, a cultist who forces people to make offerings to their God. Talaria's group destroy a statue of the "Sky God" and take Jero and his followers prisoner. Talaria explains to the people that the astrologer priests use false Gods to enslave and rob them. Just then, Cosmos crash lands on Titan, having been attacked by some Decepticons in space. These Decepticons -Astrotrain, Starscream and Thrust -arrive on Titan. Having seen the people mistake Cosmos as a Sky God, Astrotrain decides to become a God to them. The Decepticons move Cosmos back to the temple, and Astrotrain takes some energy data he was carrying.

Talaria reconnects a wire she watched Astrotrain disconnect on Cosmos, and is able to contact Optimus Prime on Earth. She is then attacked by the Decepticons, but manages to escape. On Earth, Omega Supreme says it will take 97% of his energy to get to Titan, leaving him unable to transform once he lands there. Optimus wants to go with him, to find Cosmos and gather energy for the return trip. Red Alert tells him to hold it, as they can't risk losing him. Instead, Perceptor and Jazz volunteer to go, so Omega takes off and heads to Titan. Meanwhile, Jero shows the Decepticons some crystals, which Starscream says are a perfect power source for Decepticons.

Omega crash lands on Titan, and ends up teetering on the edge of a cliff. Perceptor and Jazz head off to find Cosmos. They meet Talaria and explain they aren't Gods. They head to the temple and see the deactivated Cosmos, but the Decepticons then start shooting at them. The natives start using some of the crystals as explosives, and the two Autobots get knocked off a cliff. Talaria is captured by Astrotrain, who intends to sacrifice her for being a heretic.

Jazz and Perceptor find the crystal cave, along with some of Titan's residents. They explain to them that they aren't Gods, and find out about Talaria's fate. Jazz heads off back to the temple to save Talaria, whilst Perceptor takes some of the crystals and heads back to where Omega is. He refuels Omega just in time, who takes off and lands at the temple. Jazz rescues Talaria, whilst Omega bashes down one of the temple's walls. The Decepticons haven't got a hope in fighting Omega, and retreat.

However to make sure the Autobots can't use the crystals, Astrotrain shoots one of them, causing a chain reaction. The Decepticons then leave Titan, leaving Jero for dead. The entire island is about to explode, so Omega transforms and gets everyone across to another island. The Titans begin to build a new village to live in, whilst Perceptor fixes Cosmos. An acolyte says they have much to be thankful for -such as, Jazz says -no more Decepticons to monkey around with their beliefs.

Notes

-SCRIPT DIFFERENCES: Click here for details.

-Some fans believe that originally, Megatron was meant to appear in this episode, but he was removed and his dialogue given to Astrotrain purely because he had a newer toy and needed the screen time. This would explain why Astrotrain is leading the Decepticons in this episode, however the scripts mentioned above don't feature Megatron, so for now this is just a fan theory.

-Jero is last seen being sent flying by the explosion of the Fire God's lair, and isn't seen again in the episode. Which hints that he died, but as his death isn't shown on screen, I guess that makes it ok!

Errors

-During this shot, the yellow stripe on Astrotrain's head is colored purple.
-This happens again when Jero asks Astrotrain about the false Gods.
-When Astrotrain fires as the crystals, the laser blast is colored Autobot yellow instead of Decepticon pink.
