The Autobots have to deal with some time warps, whilst the Decepticons continue to plunder energy from Dinobot Island.

Synopsis

Optimus Prime and a group of Autobots head to where the time warp has appeared. They save Bumblebee and Spike and then send the barbarians and their wooly mammoths back through the warp, which closes moments later. The Autobots head back to base, where Teletraan I detects two new time warps. Seaspray, Tracks and Cliffjumper head out to sea, where they find a pirate ship. They stop the crew from attacking another boat and then send the ship back through the warp. Meanwhile, Inferno, Red Alert, Prowl and Jazz go to where the other warp is, where they find a group of cowboys fighting a biker gang. They round up the cowboys and send them back through the warp.

On Dinobot Island, the Dinobots manage to free themselves from the tar pit. The Autobots find out that the time disturbances can be traced to the island, so Optimus leads a group there. They find the Decepticons and start fighting them, but their battles cause more damage to the island. The island continues to get even more unstable.

The Dinobots use the island's real dinosaurs and get them on their side. The dinosaurs stampede, leading to the Decepticons getting trampled. Megatron orders a retreat, so Optimus and the Dinobots destroy all of the energon cubes the Decepticons have left behind. The destruction of these cubes releases the energy back to the island, restoring it to normal. Optimus says that the Dinobots have proven they can control their powers and have also proven their great value to the Autobot cause. He says the Dinobots can remain at their HQ from now on, so they all head back home.

-More new characters are introduced in this episode. The Autobots get Perceptor and Seaspray, who actually do quite well since they both get lines of dialogue to say. The Decepticons get Dirge, who says nothing. Some of the new characters introduced in the previous episode get lines in this one and actually do things other than stand around, such as Tracks and Blitzwing. Of all the new Decepticons, only Thrust gets anything to say.

-As with Thrust and Ramjet, Dirge keeps his cone up on his head in robot mode, although for his toy you are supposed to pull the nosecone down.

Errors

-Huffer's mouth is moving when he says "new Earth-like forms?", but he speaks with Hound's voice.
-When Tracks transforms to robot mode, his eyes are colored yellow instead of blue.
-Megatron's cannon is colored gray instead of black during this shot.
-When Starscream shoots Warpath, he's colored like Thundercracker.
