Synopsis
Bison has taken Ryu and Ken to a strange void. He says that this is where all power in the universe flows, and that their hadou, and his psycho power, draw their strength from this plane of existence. After trying and failing to get Ryu and Ken to join Shadowlaw, Bison attacks them. Using his psycho power, he's able to avoid everything they throw at him, and then strikes back. Ken has to defend Ryu from Bison's double knee press technique. As the battle goes on, the void shines brightly.
This is seen by Barrac and Fei Long, who are part of a fleet of Interpol helicopters and ships. Barrac wants to move in now, but is told they can't yet, they have to wait for backup. Inside the void, Ryu starts using hadou, and is able to stand up to Bison's psycho power. However, Bison then uses another powerful technique, the psycho crusher, to swat Ryu and Ken aside.
Ryu starts using hadou again, and is able to hit Bison, only for Bison to use the psycho crusher again, smashing him out of the way. Ken tells Ryu not to give up, and hits Bison with his hadou sho ryu.
When this happens, Chun Li suddenly screams, and the cyberchip on her forehead bursts off. Ken is out of strength, but Ryu takes on Bison by himself. After hitting Bison with several techniques -including the whirlwind hurricane kick and rising dragon punch -he finishes him off with a hadou ken. Bison tries to defend himself with his psycho power, but he's unable to stop the hadou ken, and gets hit by it.
A bright light erupts from the void, and some kind of other void appears in the sky. Everything returns to normal, and Chun Li happily reunites with Ken and Ryu, just as the Interpol fleet arrives. As parts of the fortress continue to crumble away, the shattered, broken eagle head is seen lying on the floor.
Sometime later, Ryu and Ken prepare to go their separate ways. Ryu has decided to go someplace peaceful, to think things over. He's still not sure if they found what they were looking for in regards to being the best fighters they could be. He questions that if they hadn't of met Dhalsim, who taught them to understand the martial arts are more than being powerful enough to defeat their enemies, they could have ended up on Bison's side. Ken disagrees, but then says he won't be fighting again for a while -his dad has insisted he returns home. He hopes to one day start traveling the world again, and when that happens, he tells Ryu not to be surprised if he receives another letter asking him to come to America. Ryu and Ken both hope they will have improved as martial artists when that time comes, and then depart. Ken heads off on a bike, whilst Ryu sets sail in a boat, which heads out across the sea.
-In the non-Japanese versions of the games, Bison's double knee press is called the scissor kick (although he never actually says the name of it when he does it). In the Manga Entertainment English dub, Bison says "double knee press".
-Ryu uses a somersault kick against Bison... I guess he learnt it when Guile used it against him.
-Oddly, in the Manga Entertainment English dub, Ryu says some of his special moves in English -most notably, he says "rising dragon punch" instead of "sho ryu ken". I'm mentioning that one specifically because when Ken fought Vega, Ken says "sho ryu ken" in the Manga dub.
-The bike Ken has has the word "Kawasaka" on it, a parody of Kawasaki.
