In our last episode, Guile and Nash arrived in Barcelona, to rescue Ken. Meanwhile, on the island where Ken is being held prisoner by Shadowlaw, Ryu found himself in combat with Bison. In the ferocious clash of hadou versus psycho power, Bison held the winning hand. Now that Ryu is also at his mercy, what insidious plan does Bison have in store for him?

Ken continues to have nightmares about Chun Li and Bison. He sees Bison choking her, and runs towards them...

...but Bison kills her before he can get to her.

Elsewhere, Ryu has been strapped to a chair. Bison and Zoltar monitor him, and some machinery has been placed near him.

Nash makes a call to Mr. Masters, and tells him that they've tracked Ken from his hotel to the Castle Isabella, but there was no trace of where he went from there. Mr. Masters says he was afraid of that, but thanks them for their efforts. He just hopes they have some luck before the time runs out. As he ends the call, Nash continues to drive on. But Guile then notices something.

He sees a certain truck parked, and yells for Nash to pull over. They go back to the parking lot, and take a look at the truck. Nash says this vehicle was on the beach behind the boy's hotel. It was the one they briefly saw last night, but it sped off as soon as they came in to land.

Guile says he has a funny feeling this is more than a coincidence. He thinks that big guy they saw is mixed up in this somehow. As he starts to inspect the truck, Nash goes down some steps, and finds a small building.

He goes inside it, and finds an old man in there. He asks him if he knows who owns the wagon that's sitting out there on the parking lot. The old guy says he doesn't know who owns it, but he saw a couple of people leave it there. One of them was as big as a mountain, and he saw them take a boat out from the dock, and head out to sea. Guile comes in and asks if there were two guys, or more. The old man recalls seeing another guy, but he was drunk. He saw the big guy put him on the boat.

Guile asks about the drunk guy, and shows the old man a picture of Ken and Ryu. He asks him if the drunk guy was one of these kids, but he says he can't rightly say. He only saw him for a second, and the way the big guy had a hold of him, he would have needed to stand right in front of him to get a decent look. Nash asks him if he knows where they went, and the old man says he thought they might be going to that private island just off the coast, which is owned by one of those super-rich types. They must have been in a hurry too, since the boat went off quickly. Guile and Nash ask about the island's owner, but the old man says he's just a caretaker here, he doesn't know that much. He does say that every so often, a boat is sent from the island, to pick up supplies, and sometimes machinery.

Guile and Nash leave, and walk to the end of the dock. Guile thinks this situation smells fishy, but wonders what the chances of this drunk guy being one of their missing kids. He still thinks the strong man has something to do with the disappearance of Ken Masters. Nash says he's served with Guile in the air force for 10 years, and has come to trust his instincts as much as his own -apart from when it comes to his choice of barbers. He asks Guile if they should investigate that island, or keep searching on the mainland.

At the island, Zoltar tells Bison that he's prepared a test subject to demonstrate where they are in development of the cyberchip project. He says that the brain is divided into 4 parts, which are known as the frontal, occipital, parietal and temporal lobes. Each of these lobes has its own role in how the brain works, control over a person's awareness, creativity, emotions and body activity is handled by cerebral cortex in the frontal lobe.

He then displays a diagram of the cyberchip, and says this is what it looks like in its final stage of development. The chip serves as an interface with the cerebral cortex, and is implanted beneath the skin of the forehead. Bison says he thought they were supposed to go inside the skull, but Zoltar says that was an earlier design. Too many test subjects were being killed by the implant process alone, but this new cyberchip uses high efficiency microwaves, which are transmitted from Shadowlaw's host computer. The chip picks up the digital signal sent from their impulse transmitter, and translates it into a 100 micro volt impulse signal, stimulating the cerebral cortex, and allowing them complete control of the subject's brain.

Zoltar brings up data for a test subject, and then uses the chip to make him go through different emotions.

As the signal is altered, it makes the subject go from sadness, to anger, to laughing all in an instant. Zoltar says that unfortunately, the cyberchip has no practical use until they find a way to control the strength of the impulse signal. He'll demonstrate what he means by commanding the subject to beat his head against the wall. The subject suddenly goes into a rage, and is strong enough to break apart his restraints.

He runs towards the nearest wall, and smashes his head onto it as hard as he can. This kills him instantly, but Zoltar says they're almost finished in perfecting the signal. Bison laughs, and thinks about his battle with Ryu. He asks Zoltar how much longer it'll be until the impulse signal control will be perfected enough to be useful. Zoltar says no more than 3 days, so Bison tells him he has 1.

He says that Ryu is a man of considerable power and ability, so he wants him under his control as soon as possible. The cyberchip must be perfected in order to makes his power over him complete, so he wants the chip implanted tomorrow. The day is finally at hand for Shadowlaw to intensify its tactics, and in order to do that they shall need the world's strongest, most powerful warriors conditioned to follow any order without question! He tells Ryu to be grateful, as he has the honor of becoming the first of this new breed of warrior!

Fei Long arrives in Barcelona. As he walks into the lobby, he sees a news report on TV. It talks about how officials at a press conference have positively identified a man who was killed after falling from a balcony on the 15th floor of the San Juan hotel. Fei Long keeps watching...

...and is devastated to find out that the man killed was his shifu, Dorai! The reporter says that investigators believe Dorai had been drinking, and are ruling the death as accidental. The reporter goes on to say that after an official autopsy, Dorai's body will be turned over to Hong Kong officials, who are demanding further investigation into the death of this well respected man. Responding to rumors that the death may have been caused by terrorists or hit men, authorities have replied that the possibility was very thin, because of heavy security at the hotel. Fei Long falls to his knees, and says this can't be, there must be some mistake! He runs out of the airport, and says this this has to be a lie, Dorai would never do something like that!

At the hotel, Cammy relaxes next to a pool. Her phone rings, and it's a call from Balrog. Balrog tells her the police have announced that Dorai died from an accidental fall due to intoxification. They've also said they found no evidence of foul play in his death, so Balrog tells Cammy she did a nice job. Cammy seems to think that the announcement from the police is strange, as she left a wire around Dorai's neck.

She tells Balrog she wasn't aware Interpol was making such elaborate plans to cover up the fact the man was murdered. She wonders why Balrog would be so worried about his reputation in the first place. Balrog gets concerned, and asks if she means that this cover up wasn't her idea. Does she mean she made no attempt to cover it up, and that anybody who inspected Dorai's body would have noticed her wire? Cammy says she seems to recall the terms of their agreement being the elimination of the target, with no sign that the hit was ordered by Interpol. She was never told she needed to make it look like an accident.

As he asks her more questions, she tells him it seems neither of them are behind this lie. But she says that if the two of them aren't covering it up, who is? Balrog thinks it's possible Dorai could still be alive, so he tells Cammy to keep a low profile, and wait for him to call back. Meanwhile, at the hospital...

...Fei long is shouting at a nurse, demanding to be allowed to see Dorai. The nurse asks if he's a family member, and he says he is, and he's demanding to see him. He wants her to tell him that they made a mistake when they said Dorai was dead. When she doesn't respond, Fei Long thinks this is impossible -it doesn't make any sense! Dorai would never get drunk like that, he couldn't just fall off a balcony! He grabs the nurse and starts shaking her, saying that someone has made a mistake. He wants her to tell him it's a mistake. The nurse says she's sorry.

Fei Long falls down, and keeps saying it's a lie. Barrac then walks in, and sees Fei Long. He asks Fei Long if he's a member of Dorai's family. Fei Long says that Dorai was more important to him that his own father. Barrac tells him to get up, as they need to go for a walk.

Out at sea, Guile and Nash have obtained a boat, and move in close to the private island. Guile asks Nash how it looks, and Nash says pretty suspicious, all things considered. He tells Guile to take a look at the big building.

Guile does so, and Nash says it looks like a fortress. Guile says he's right, and thinks it looks like a military complex. He says they'll have to wait until nightfall before they move in. Nash thinks that's great -another delay.

Ken continues to have nightmares about Bison and Chun Li, and suddenly screams out.

Bison watches Ryu, as the cyberchip is ready to be implanted.

Ken is about to wake up, when he does he'll sense Ryu's pain, and hadou will begin to rise from his body. But he's too late to stop Bison from implanting the cyberchip into Ryu's forehead, turning him into an all-powerful, completely obedient warrior. Will Ken's hadou rising dragon punch somehow save Ryu? Be here next time for Street Fighter II V: Rising Dragon Into the Sky - The Extremes of Rage - Awakening Hadou. Gonna burn some muscle!
