12/20/2024 One more Neo Geo manual scan to end the year off with: the original Fatal Fury! This is the American AES version scanned, hence the "bigger, badder, better" dog tag on the insert and manual.
Added a bit of info regarding the recently announced Earnest Evans Collection to the odds and ends page. The idea of the Earnest Evans trilogy potentially getting a rerelease was definitely not something I had on my 2024 bingo card.
30 years ago today, the SEGA shot itself in the foot by releasing the 32X in America. To celebrate, I've overhauled the 32X Database. All the pages have been neatened up, and there's some new stuff in there regarding unreleased games.
It's time for a new Neo Geo manual scan: the English AES version of Samurai Shodown! And for an extra bonus, a new article for Neo Geo Wubba Wubba has been added. It's an English translation of an interview from the Japanese Samurai Shodown manual.
Added a couple of pages to the Street Fighter II Movie section. One is about the manga adaptation, the other is about the numerous cuts and edits made to the USA version of the movie -which had a lot of minor things trimmed down, or in some cases removed entirely, when compared to the Japanese version of the movie.
Added a new Neo Geo manual scan: the AES version of Fatal Fury 2. It has quite a few little differences here and then when compared to the CD version, which I've also written about here.
Added some new stuff to Annet Futatabi's magazine scans section, mostly some reviews (spoilers: they all hate the game).
To kick off the new year, here are some new Neo Geo game scans. This time it's the Japanese versions of all four games from the World Heroes series for the Neo Geo AES. Includes scans of the inserts, instruction manuals and cartridges along with a few notes about prototype screenshot differences for each game. |
