Synopsis

Botan rushes to the Human Realm, to find Yusuke. She finds him and Kuwabara about to fight a gang, but she takes the two off to the Spirit Realm, explaining that Koenma has been kidnapped. In the Spirit Realm, they meet up with Hiei, and Jorge explains to them what happened. Whilst Koenma was on vacation, a demon called Garuga kidnapped him, and if they want him back, they must bring the golden seal to Magma Valley by sunset, otherwise Koenma will die. Botan reveals the golden seal, and says it's an item that proves King Enma controls the Spirit Realm. It's not meant to be taken from here, but Yusuke points out they have no choice.

At Magma Valley, it's revealed that the one behind the kidnapped is Koashura, who seems to hold a grudge against Koenma. Koenma asks him what he's going to do with him, and he says that he intends to take over his position at the Gate of Judgment. Once he gets the golden seal, he's going to use it on lots of papers, and make some trouble! Koenma asks him not to do that, as if his father, King Enma, finds out the golden seal was stolen, things will be a whole lot worse! Koashura laughs at him. Meanwhile, Yusuke's group are attacked by a group of demons. They start to take them out...

...but eventually just start running off when the demons start trying to drop boulders on them. They enter a forest, where even more demons attack them. A winged demon knocks Yusuke down, causing him to drop the golden seal. The demon takes it, but doesn't get very far, as he gets sliced to pieces by Hiei.

Hiei tosses Yusuke the golden seal back, as he and Kurama fight off the remaining demons. Yusuke, Kuwabara and Botan hurry on, but yet more demons attack them. Kuwabara extends his spirit sword, letting Yusuke jump up to where Magma Valley is. Yusuke and Botan find Koenma, Koashura and Garuga, and Yusuke tosses down the golden seal.

Koashura picks it up and intends to use it to make Koenma his slave, but then Garuga betrays him. He takes the golden seal for himself, and reveals that he is really the demon fugitive known as Yasha. Yusuke fires a spirit gun blast at him, but he is able to reflect it via an opening compartment on his chest. Yusuke gets hit in the shoulder, but he still tries to fight Yasha. However Yasha's power is overwhelming, and he easily batters Yusuke around.

Yusuke fires another spirit gun blast at him. and he once again reflects it. However, Yusuke dodges it at the last moment, and the blast hits a wall, creating a large hole. A stream of lava shoots out of it, hitting Yasha. Yusuke uses the last of his power to fire one more spirit gun blast, which Yasha attempts to deflect, only to find the magma that hit him has hardened, and he can't open up his chest any more. He gets hit by the blast, and is then hit by even more lava, which kills him.

Yusuke falls, but Botan flies over and saves him. As this happens, the golden seal floats next to him, and he takes it back. It's revealed the reason Koashura did all of this was to get revenge on Koenma for something he did whilst the two were at Spirit Realm kindergarten -Koashura had tried to give a present to a girl he liked called Kotennyo, but before he could, Koenma got in his way! Everyone is surprised he went to all this trouble over it. Later on, Yusuke, Kuwabara and Botan return to the Human Realm. Yusuke asks what happened to Koashura, and Botan says his punishment was only 10,000 spankings, as he was under Yasha's influence. Yusuke laughs, but Kuwabara thinks it's no laughing matter. If Yusuke hadn't put Yasha in the magma, who knows what would have happened? Yusuke said it was just luck when he did that. As Kuwabara and Botan are in shock that Yusuke won via luck, he tells them it all worked out in the end. Yusuke then claims he has a date, so he has to run. He quickly flees the scene, whilst Botan and Kuwabara tell him to hold it.
