Botan rushes to the Human Realm, and calls out to Yusuke. Yusuke and Kuwabara are already in a fight, but Yusuke tells their opponents that there is no way they can win. One of the guys tells him to shut up, as once they get rid of him and Kuwabara, this town will be theirs. They rush forward to attack.

But before they can do anything, they all get blown away when Botan rushes past them. She tells Yusuke they've got big trouble, but he tells her to watch where she's going next time. She tells him to just follow her, as they've got really big trouble. Yusuke says they were busy enjoying their summer vacation -if Koenma has some order for them, he's not listening! Botan explains that Koenma has been kidnapped. The three arrive in the Spirit Realm, and see that Hiei is already there. They also find Jorge, who is crying over what happened. He says that Lord Koenma wanted to have a cool summer vacation.

Yusuke says Koenma is not cool. Jorge reveals a video camera, and says Koenma took him and some other ogres to Death Sea Beach. He puts the video on a screen.

Koenma was seen enjoying himself, but then a large demon burst out of the ground. The demon, Garuga, said he was taking Koenma, and if they want him back, they must bring the golden seal to Magma Valley by sunset. If they don't, Koenma will die.

As the recording ends, Kuwabara asks what the golden seal is. Botan finds a hidden switch under Koenma's desk, and pushes it. This causes numerous doors to open up...

...revealing the golden seal behind them. Botan says it belong to King Enma, and it must not be taken from here. It's proof that he controls the Spirit Realm. If anyone else was to get their hands on it, it would cause chaos, and even Enma himself could be thrown out of the Spirit Realm. Jorge asks how they can take the seal whilst King Enma is away on a business trip... but then realizes if they don't, Koenma's life is in danger. Yusuke thinks Koenma sure is annoying brat, and before Botan can stop him, he picks up the golden seal.

Jorge tells him he can't take that, but Yusuke says if he doesn't bring this along, they can't save Koenma. If he comes back with Koenma and the golden seal, there shouldn't be any problems. They don't have much time, so he asks Botan to guide them. They then notice that Hiei has already vanished, but Kuwabara brushes him off. He says he'll save Koenma, but Jorge then says he'll go and contact Kurama. Meanwhile, Yusuke, Botan and Kuwabara leave the Spirit Realm.

At Magma Valley, Garuga dangles Koenma over some lava. Another voice tells Koenma that his stupid servants are leaving the Gate of Judgment. Koenma asks who's there, and is surprised to see who his captor is.

Koashura & Garuga

Koenma asks him what he's going to do with him, and he says that he intends to take over his position at the Gate of Judgment. Once he gets the golden seal, he's going to use it on lots of papers, and make some trouble! Koenma asks him not to do that, as if his father, King Enma, finds out the golden seal was stolen, things will be a whole lot worse! Koashura laughs at him.

Meanwhile, Botan tells everyone to hurry, when Kuwabara suddenly trips and falls. Yusuke asks him what is he doing, but he then notices why he fell. A lot of demons suddenly burst out of the ground.

They are completely surrounded, and one of the demons says they can't let them pass. Yusuke says they don't have time to play with them now, but the demon says he's heard they have King Enma's golden seal. Another demon tells them to give it over, and the demons then start their attack.

As everyone takes out the demons, Yusuke hears something above him. He looks up and sees some very large boulders heading their way.

He saves Botan and yells to Kuwabara that they don't have time, so they all start to run off down the canyon. As they go, more boulders are dropped, and then some beams are thrust out of the walls.

Some more debris is blown up to try and stop them, but Yusuke uses his shot gun technique to blow it all to pieces.

Koashura wonders if Koenma's loyal servants will be able to make it here. Koenma has been tied to a post, which is placed on the edge of a cliff. The cliff starts to slowly crumble away, and Koenma asks Koashura why he's doing this. Koashura tells him to ask himself.

Koashura says he was mean to him, and this is his revenge. As he dances with joy, he doesn't notice that Garuga has a smirk on his face.

As Yusuke's group arrive in a forest, Yusuke wonders how those demons knew that had the golden seal. Kuwabara thinks it's to do with some kind of trap, one they've fallen into already. They then have to evade a load of vines, which attack all three of them.

They notice something coming out of a tree, which Botan refers to as a rock tree monster. The monster demands the golden seal, and keeps trying to attack Yusuke and Kuwabara.

Yusuke gets ready to use his spirit gun, but then sees that the monster can move between trees and enter them instantly. As he's distracted, another demon flies in from behind and hits him. As he falls, he drops the golden seal.

The winged demon grabs it and flies off. Botan tries to get it back, but the demon hits her off her oar. The tree monster then traps Yusuke and Kuwabara in a cage, and as they tear the vines apart, the vines keep regenerating.

The monster decides to kill Botan first, and aims his vines at her as she falls. But before he can hit her, a rose whip slices them to pieces.

Kurama has arrived, and after slicing up the cage, he catches Botan before she hits the ground. Kurama says they can handle some half-rotten tree. The winged demon tries to fly away, but is confronted by Hiei in the air.

He gets sliced to pieces instantly, and Hiei catches the golden seal. He throws it to Yusuke.

Yusuke catches it, and Hiei says to leave this to him and Kurama. Yusuke, Kuwabara and Botan continue on.

Kurama and Hiei make short work of the pursuing demons, cutting them up quickly.

The tree demon gets cut in half. Kurama asks Hiei if he thinks Yusuke can make it in time, and Hiei says he doesn't know. Kurama thinks Hiei wouldn't have given Yusuke the golden seal if he didn't think he could. Meanwhile, Botan says the sun is setting, so they have to go faster.

More demons arrive, and Yusuke says they've got to get through. They start fighting them whilst still running, slicing them apart, or in Yusuke's case, just battering them with punches and throws.

Botan points out that Magma Valley is over the next cliff. Kuwabara extends his spirit sword, and tells Urameshi to go. Yusuke grabs onto him, and Kuwabara uses the sword to catapult them both upwards.

Yusuke then uses Kuwabara as a springboard to get himself over the cliff. Meanwhile, the cliff Koenma is next to has nearly crumbled. Koashura tells Garuga that if they don't help Koenma soon, he really will die. Garuga says they should just let him die.

He says it's Yusuke's fault if he doesn't make it in time. However, Yusuke calls out to them, and says they've brought the golden seal. He tells Koashura to let Koenma go.

Koashura tells Garuga to release Koenma. Yusuke and Botan descend to where they all are, and Yusuke throws the golden seal over.

Koashura picks it up and can see it's the real thing. He says Koenma is finished, and intends to make him his slave for the rest of his life. As he celebrates, Garuga comes over and takes the seal. He says it's the real one, and then says that it's now his. The Spirit Realm is now under his control! He doesn't need Koashura any longer.

He throws him off. Yusuke sees Garuga planned this all along, and intends to take him down with one shot. He fires his spirit gun, but Garuga does something to absorb it -his chest opens up...

...and after taking the blast, he's able to reflect it right back at Yusuke, hitting him on his shoulder. Garuga laughs and asks how he likes his own soul power. He says he can reflect all of Yusuke's power, so he won't be able to beat him. As the light dims down, his appearance has changed.

Yasha

Botan says that Yasha is a demon fugitive. Yusuke tells her to get Koenma, but as Yasha advances, he kicks Koenma and Koashura aside, telling them to get out of his way. They fall over a cliff, and Koenma manages to hold on, whilst Koashura holds on to him.

Botan attempts to fly over to them, only for Yasha to swat her aside with his tail. She lands close to the edge, but Yasha turns his attention back to Yusuke. Yusuke stands back up, and starts raising his spirit energy.

Yasha sees that Yusuke can raise his spirit energy with anger. Yusuke runs forward and starts punching Yasha as fast as he can, but Yasha blocks every strike he makes. He eventually grabs one of Yusuke's fists and tells him he'd like to compliment him for fighting with a wounded arm, but it's no use.

He batters Yusuke around for a bit, smashing him through some rocks. He's not done yet though, and after picking him up, he throws him into another cliff.

He then charges into him, crushing him into the cliff itself. As this is happening, Kuwabara, Kurama and Hiei arrive.

Yasha tells Yusuke he doesn't know his own limitations. He then goes over to Koenma and Koashura, and tells them that beneath them is a bottomless river of magma -do they want to take a dip? Kurama and Hiei are about to move in, but then Yusuke gets up and tells Yasha to wait. Yasha is surprised to see that Yusuke can still stand up after he attacked him so much. He wonders why Yusuke is willing to sacrifice his life for this kid.

Yusuke explains that Koenma is the one who brought him back to life, and he can't let Yasha take the golden seal. Yasha calls him a stubborn fool, and tells him he'll now blow him away. He leaps towards him, and as he does, some spikes burst out of his shoulder.

Yusuke fires another spirit gun blast, but Yasha does the same thing as he did before. He reflects the blast right back at Yusuke.

Yusuke moves aside at the last moment, and the blasts his a wall. It creates a large hole, and a stream of lava shoots out, hitting Yasha. Kurama and Hiei quickly save Koenma and Koashura before the lava hits them.

However, Yasha also survives, and jumps out of the lava stream. As he lands, he accuses Yusuke of playing dirty, and warns not to underestimate him. He tells Yusuke he'll make him pay for that, and charges. Yusuke says this is the last of his power.

The two leap towards each other, and as Yusuke readies his spirit gun, he tells Yasha to look at his body. Yasha realizes that the magma is hardening, and it's stopping him from being able to open his chest.

Yusuke fires his spirit gun, and the blast his Yasha. Yasha falls forward and gets engulfed by more lava, killing him.

Yusuke falls down, and the cliff he lands on crumbles away. But Botan flies over and saves him before he falls into the lava. As they head off, the golden seal floats next to Yusuke, so he grabs it.

Later on, Botan tells Yusuke that when they get back to the Gate of Judgment, she can take care of his injuries properly. Koenma asks Koashura why he did all of this, he'd mentioned something about revenge earlier. Koashura says it was when he was going to the Spirit Realm kindergarten with Koenma. He was going to give Kotennyo a birthday present.

However, before he could, Koenma burst onto the scene, knocking Koashura down and landing on his present. He gave Kotennyo some flowers, which she thanked and kissed him for. As they happily walked off together, Koashura swore he would have his revenge one day!

Back in the present, everyone is surprised that all of this was just over a kid fight! Kuwabara hits Koashura for being such a troublemaker, which makes him start crying again. Later on, Yusuke, Kuwabara and Botan return to the Human Realm. Botan says they got the golden seal back, so they did a good job. Yusuke asks what happened to Koashura, and Botan says his punishment was only 10,000 spankings, as he was under Yasha's influence. Yusuke laughs, but Kuwabara thinks it's no laughing matter. If Yusuke hadn't put Yasha in the magma, who knows what would have happened?

Yusuke said it was just luck when he did that. As Kuwabara and Botan are in shock that Yusuke won via luck, he tells them it all worked out in the end. Kuwabara thinks it's no laughing matter, but Yusuke then claims he has a date, so he has to run. He quickly flees the scene, whilst Botan and Kuwabara tell him to hold it.
