Kuwabara summoned his dimensional sword, and cut through Itsuki's Reverse Man. He and the others fell back into the cave, but were too late to stop Sensui. Sensui landed a final strike on Yusuke, and told them that Yusuke has just died.

Carrying On Their Friend's Will!

Sensui says the first doorway has opened, and asks Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama to escort him to what lies ahead. Demons start to break through the hole. Hiei prepares his black dragon wave, whilst Kurama transforms to his spirit fox form.

As they run forward, Sensui thinks that their spectral power appears to be A class level. Kuwabara is about to also run, but before he does, he tells Urameshi that he may soon be following him... but he's going to go out in a big way, so just watch him.

He then also charges forward. Hiei unleashes his black dragon wave, which vaporizes all of the demons that have come out of the hole.

Sensui uses his sacred light aura to protect himself, as the dragon attacks him, pushing him back towards the hole. Hiei says he'll carry him all the way to the Demon Realm like this, and throws out even more energy. Sensui is not affected by the dragon, but he lets it push him back. Meanwhile, the demons which have escaped into the Human Realm are killed by the dragon.

The dragon enters the hole, taking Sensui with it, whilst also wiping out all of the demons. Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara jump up and enter the hole, as they head to the Demon Realm. Koenma and Mitarai can only watch.

Mitarai asks what happens now, as the hole is open. Koenma says the demons that were swarming around there must have been wiped out by Hiei's strike. Countless other demons will be coming, but those aren't the ones to worry about. The greater power a demon has, the more intelligent and careful they are. When these demons decides that they can pass through this hole without worry, the Human Realm will be finished. Mitarai says there is still the periphery field in place, which will keep the stronger demons from passing. Koenma says Kuwabara will cut through it, so he can fight Sensui, even though it's a battle he can't win. And now he can't stop him -he neither has the power, or the right.

Kuwabara asks if this is the Demon Realm, but Kurama says this is subspace -the area between the Human and Demon realms. Kuwabara then asks him when he became capable of turning back to his spirit fox form again. Kurama says he doesn't seem to have actually turned back, he's still the same person he used to be. His body just changed form, probably due to the rise in spectral power from within him. The group then see the periphery field ahead, but also see that Sensui is stood behind it.

Sensui says that his sacred light aura is holy power. This periphery field can only block demonic power, such as how it neutralized Hiei's black dragon wave. Hiei notices how his dragon didn't even singe Sensui's clothes. Sensui tells them they should be thrilled, as this field only reacts to A class spectral power or higher. It means that because of Urameshi's death, their base powers have been awakened. But as a result of that, the two of them won't be able to pass through this field.

Kurama tries touching the field, and it shocks him when he touches it. Sensui tells Kuwabara that only his dimensional blade can cut through this field. Kuwabara says if he does this, he knows Sensui's schemes will be fulfilled. Sensui suggests that if he needs some time to think things over, he can give him a whole day. Kuwabara tells him not to be absurd, and summons his dimensional sword.

He slices through the barrier, creating a gap in it. He tells Sensui that he's going to take at least one of his arms, as a present for Urameshi. Sensui resumes his flight towards the Demon Realm, as Kuwabara and the others follow him.

At the Spirit Realm, Enma finds out that not even Koenma could stop Sensui. Botan says she's sure Yusuke and the others will manage something, but Enma says that's out of the question. Enma gets up and says that there's little choice now, he will have to call for the dispatch of the Special Defense Squad. This situation calls for no delays, as they may have committed a huge mistake. Botan asks him if he's talking about Sensui, but Enma says he isn't. He then says that he can't believe he would be of demon kinship, which confuses Botan and Jorge -who is he talking about? Meanwhile, the SDS prepare to move out.

The Spirit Realm Special Defense Squad -commonly referred to as "hunters" among demons. Their primary duty is to patrol the area of the Demon Realm controlled by the Spirit Realm, and to exterminate demons in order to expand that area.

The SDS transform into beams of light, which shoot off towards the Human Realm. The SDS have been called upon before to wipe out demons who have developed in the Human Realm, such as ones who have become A class, and deemed harmful to humans. Enma says every time he hears the SDS siren, he finds it to be unpleasant. Botan thinks that she's never seen the Spirit Realm as tense as this, and wonders what is going to happen.

In the Demon Realm, four B class demons see that the path to the Human Realm is finally open. They also see thousands of lower class demons piling up on top of one another, trying to reach the hole. They wonder if they should head out for the Human Realm, but one of them says to wait and watch for a little longer. This could be a Spirit Realm trap, and he can also sense four incredible powers from within the hole. Two of them have demon energy, the other is spirit energy, but they can't tell what the other one is.

They know all four have far great power than their own, and decide to not get any closer. Back in subspace, Sensui reaches the end, and vanishes. Kurama says they are at the exit, so they also head through it.

Sensui arrives in the Demon Realm, and starts falling. He thinks it is a wonderful place, and thinks back. He'd told Itsuki he'd planned to come here, and had to battle with his different personalities over what to do. He could tell his heart had started to go rotten, but he then started realizing that the eroded portion was who he really was.

As he continues to fall, Kuwabara and the others arrive. Kuwabara is immediately concerned at the fact that they've come out in the middle of thin air, but Kurama wants to know where they are. Hiei says he recognizes it -it's the Forest of Fools. They're lucky, as the demons around this forest are still on the well-behaved side. Kuwabara then reminds everyone that they're falling, but Kurama shoots some wings out of his back to save them.

Kuwabara didn't know Kurama could grow wings, but Kurama explains his wings are actually a floating leaf variety of a Demon Realm plant. They notice that Sensui is still falling, and Kuwabara tells him to go and get smashed up like a tomato. However, Sensui uses his scared light aura again, allowing him to fly. He says that angels are said to be God's messengers, but that was probably because long ago, that's what people thought when they saw others, like himself, enveloped in sacred light aura, and became awestruck towards God.

He says the best part of this energy is that it unifies you with nature, although he does find the winds of the Demon Realm a bit difficult to control. Kuwabara thinks Sensui can do anything, whilst Kurama says it doesn't matter -now that they've come this far, he doesn't intend to run away.

Hiei says they're going to finish this, but Sensui says he doesn't want to do any harm to this beautiful forest. He suggest they finish this fight over there, and points to a cliff. Hiei says that the cliff is known as Guillotine Hill, which is the perfect place for a final battle.

As everybody lands, Sensui warns them that he doesn't think it's proper to fight when you've already resigned yourselves to losing.

But, out of regard to their feelings toward their deceased friend, he will respond in earnest. He emits more sacred light aura, which causes Hiei and Kurama to back off, but Kuwabara remains. He resumes running towards him, but then gets blasted back by a powerful force. Sensui's form changes:

Energy Steel Combat Armor

He says that his raised energy can materialize, to become both a supreme weapon and the ultimate armor. He says it's quite similar to Kurama's white clothing, but Kurama sees this as a way of him saying there's a marked difference between their levels. Hiei then throws out another black dragon wave, straight up into the sky.

Kurama thinks Hiei really isn't thinking about what comes afterwards, as the dragon comes back down. Hiei consumes the dragon's power.

Hiei attacks first, using a rapid punch technique, but it's no use against Sensui. He punches him in the gut, then kicks him aside. Kurama covers one of his arms with vines, which form a blade...

...whilst Kuwabara attacks with his dimensional sword. Sensui is able to warp out of the way, and as Kurama jumps up to strike him, he dodges him, and then uses a technique:

REPPA FUUJIN KEN

(Fissure Break Wind Encampment Fist)

Kurama gets blown away, and Sensui then kicks Kuwabara back.

Hiei then attacks with his sword, but even when this hits Sensui, it does nothing. Sensui kicks Hiei away.

As Hiei struggles to get up, Kuwabara asks what kind bastard is this. Sensui tells them that it's a shame their strength is so half-hearted.

He tells them that they unconsciously try to defend themselves, and regrets to inform them that they won't die easily.

Sensui displays an overwhelming power. Is his strength absolute, even in the Demon Realm? Will Hiei, Kurama and Kuwabara now be unable to avenge the death of Yusuke?
