Synopsis
Yusuke's group arrive at the center of the hole, and many C class demons are waiting for it to open. Sensui says his movie ends in 30 minutes, and it has a beautiful song at the end, which will play as the hole opens. The group also notice that Itsuki is now stood up, whilst Kuwabara and Gourmet are now sat in the boat. Itsuki says that the hole is now out of his hands, and he can no longer stop it. Outside, Botan sees Genkai and the others leave the cave. Genkai says they saw Koenma on the way, and when Botan mentions he is going to remove his pacifier, Genkai seems surprised... but she doesn't actually know what'll happen when he does. Back in the cave, the demons start to break through, but Sensui gets them to back off by throwing a projectile at them. He says they need to wait a little longer.
He then summons Gourmet, and tells the group that if they can kill him, he'll release Kuwabara. Gourmet surprises everyone be revealing he can read minds, as he reveals that he devoured and killed Murota, and took his ability. Kurama decides he'll fight him, and uses his rose whip to split his head apart instantly.
However Kurama then tells Toguro to stop hiding. Elder Toguro's head bursts out of Gourmet's body. Toguro explains that he survived thanks to Sensui, and when Gourmet ate him, he was able to take over his body. He says he enjoyed experiencing the terror Gourmet felt, and then warns Kurama that he's not the same person as he was before, as now he can regenerate himself endlessly, and is able to absorb any ability -he's invincible! He charges towards Kurama, but Kurama releases a smokescreen, which covers them both up.
Using his mind-reading ability, Toguro figures out where Kurama is hiding, and what he's planning to do. He runs forward and strikes him, but Kurama doesn't die. Toguro starts repeatedly swiping at Kurama, but still he won't die. Kurama steps out of the smoke unharmed, and as the smoke clears away, Toguro is seen restrained by a tree. Kurama explains that this is a tree of depravity, and he planted the seed inside Toguro with his rose whip -when he split Gourmet's head apart. The tree casts illusions to lure in its prey, so now Toguro thinks he is fighting Kurama. Kurama says the tree won't release its prey until it dies, but since elder Toguro keeps regenerating, he's unable to die. So Toguro will be fighting the illusion for eternity. He tells Toguro he is not worthy of death.
