Synopsis
After easily blocking Yusuke's attack, Sensui counters with a powerful kick. Yusuke tries to attack again, but the same thing happens. Genkai recognizes Sensui's style as resshu ken (fissure kick fist), a powerful style that is not allowed to be taught to someone until they've mastered all other forms. Back in the apartment, Mitarai says that Kuwabara mustn't be left alone, as he's the one Sensui has been searching for -the one with the ability to cut through dimensions. Botan attempts to alert Yusuke and the others, but she is kept at bay by Sniper, who fires marbles at her, Shizuru and Mitarai.
Sensui explains that by mixing his own spirit powers with the fissure kick fist techniques, he's created his own personal martial art. He creates a projectile called the resshu kou kyu ha (fissure kick crimson ball wave), which he kicks towards Koenma and the others. However his true target is Yusuke's apartment, which it hits, causing a large explosion. Yusuke attempts to attack again, but gets kicked back.
Nearby, Gourmet and Gamemaster see the plume of smoke from the explosion, and realize it's the signal they've been waiting for. As Sensui runs off, Koenma and Genkai head back to the apartment, whilst Yusuke, Kurama and Kuwabara go after Sensui. Keiko goes to the apartment, and finds an injured Shizuru at the bottom of the building. She explains that her brother is in danger, and tells her to go and warn the others. Keiko runs off, whilst Shizuru collapses.
Sensui leads the three into a building, and Yusuke tries to fight him again. He gets kicked, but manages to grab onto Sensui's leg. But before he can try and attack, Sensui jumps up and uses his other leg to kick him again. Kuwabara then tries to fight him, but finds he can't summon his new sword. Sensui thinks that Kuwabara doesn't know how to control his dimensional sword yet. Kuwabara ends up attacking with his regular spirit sword, but Sensui blocks the strike with just the palm of his hand, and kicks him. Sensui does back off when Kurama uses his rose whip, but he leads everyone back outside, onto a crowded bridge. Kurama knows he can't use his rose whip with so many people around them.
Sensui runs off, so Yusuke and Kuwabara follow him. Kurama is also about to go, but Sniper appears on a bike, and cuts him off. Keiko arrives on the bridge, but as soon as she does, Sniper aims at her. Puu protects Keiko by taking the hit, whilst Sniper rides off. Meanwhile, Yusuke and Kuwabara follow Sensui into a parking garage, where Kuwabara nearly runs into some kid. He doesn't know that the kid is Gamemaster, and he then senses he is in someone's territory.
Yusuke catches up with Sensui, and wants to settle things here, but he the hears Kuwabara scream. Sensui runs off, jumps over a fence, and lands in a truck leaving the parking garage -a truck with Gamemaster, Gourmet and Kuwabara in it. Gourmet has tied up Kuwabara, and the truck speeds off. Yusuke jumps down and, without thinking, fires off an enormous spirit gun blast.
However Sensui summons another projectile, and despite its small size, kicks it into Yusuke's blast, which results in both projectiles destroying each other. Yusuke can't believe that tiny blast was able to stop his, and thinks he must have been holding back when he fired. He steals a bike and prepares to go after them, and tells Keiko he'll do anything to save Kuwabara -but he won't be reckless. He asks her to take care of things here, and then races off after the truck. Will Yusuke be able to save Kuwabara?
-Sensui's second kick does not send Yusuke crashing into a street light in the manga.
-Sniper is not seen firing at Botan, Shizuru and Mitarai in the manga.
-Any scenes with Shizuru in this episode were not in the manga.
-A good chunk of the Sensui fight does not happen in the manga. The anime added new scenes, such as Sensui running off and Yusuke, Kuwabara and Kurama having to chase after him. Yusuke does not get kicked through a window in the manga, and Kuwabara attempts to summon his new sword whilst they're still in the street.
-Sniper does not appear in the Sensui fight at all in the manga. The scenes in this episode, where he cuts off Kurama and attacks Keiko and Puu, are anime only scenes.
-In the manga, after Kurama tries to use his rose whip against Sensui, Gamemaster and Gourmet show up in their truck. As they drive by, Gourmet captures Kuwabara, whilst Sensui leaps into the truck. The anime is completely different, featuring a sequence where Yusuke and Kuwabara enter a parking lot and split up. Kuwabara encounters Gamemaster and Gourmet, whilst Yusuke tries to settle things with Sensui on the roof.
-In the manga, Keiko does not show up to talk to Yusuke when he takes the bike.
-The recap sequence features some shots and animation that weren't actually used in the previous episode. These two shots are new, and the shot of Sensui screaming has different animation compared to what was used before.
-There is a sign seen a few times for a "CARD", which has something that looks just like the Mastercard logo on it.
-During this shot, "STATION" is spelt as "STASION".
