Synopsis
Yusuke asks Botan about Sensui, but she knows nothing about him. Genkai says they'll have to wait for Koenma to arrive to discuss it. In the Spirit Realm, Koenma tells Jorge to deal with things here, as he has to go to the Human Realm now that he knows that Sensui and the Black Chapters video are involved. Back on Earth, Shizuru treats Mitarai's wounds, but as they run out of bandages, Keiko says she'll go and buy some more.
Koenma arrives and talks about Sensui. Sensui was born with strong spiritual powers, and because of this, he survived constant attacks on his life by evil spirits and demons since he was a child. As Sensui grew older, he was able to easily take down and defeat large demons with little effort. He said the very existence of these demons is evil, and wanted to return them all to nothingness. As a spirit detective, Koenma ordered Sensui, along with his partner, Itsuki, to a villa where a large trade in demons was taking place, ran by the Black Black Club. As they stormed the place, Sensui came across a horrific sight: an orgy of wickedness, where demons that had been summoned by humans were being made sport of, and then finally slaughtered.
In rage, Sensui slaughtered all of the humans there, and had had his values turned upside down. Koenma says that after that, Sensui showed an unusual amount of interest in the Black Chapters tape, and apparently started having doubts about mankind as a whole. Since then, Sensui sought to have all mankind atone for their sins. Yusuke says this is why those ultra serious types are so hard to deal with, as they always go swinging from one extreme to the other. Koenma says that's right, which is why he chose such a frivolous guy to be the next spirit detective. He doesn't know why Sensui has chosen to reappear now, ten years later, but he does know that once Sensui has started, there's no stopping him, not until he achieves his objective. Kurama and Yusuke then sense something, and spin around to see Sensui and Sniper waiting at the top of the building opposite.
Sniper takes aim at Mitarai, but Kuwabara is able to save him just in time. Mitarai finds that a listening device had been planted on him, and Sensui has heard everything he's been saying or doing recently. Sensui says who would have thought that the person with the ability they're looking for was among their enemies.
Kuwabara and Yusuke rush off to confront Sensui, and when they meet him, he tells them that there are only two days left until the tunnel opens -that's how much the speed of the tunnel's opening has increased. Keiko returns, but Yusuke tells her to stay back. Koenma warns Yusuke to not get any closer to Sensui, as he can also store up his spirit energy and shoot it out as a projectile, but Yusuke wants to see Sensui's power himself, and a fight begins. Yusuke makes a quick move to get behind him, and attacks with a punch. But Sensui is able to block it with just one arm, and then prepares to counterattack...
