The one-time spirit detective, Shinobu Sensui, having witnessed the ugly side of the human heart, came to despise the very existence of the human race. As a result, he is seeking to open a doorway to the Demon Realm, and have all mankind atone for their sins. And so, as Yusuke and the others, having heard the facts of the matter from Koenma, moved to take action, Sensui attacked Yusuke's apartment building.

Yusuke: Yo, old-timer... from what I hear, you've gone around the bend, haven't you?
Sensui: That is a misunderstanding. I have been awakened to the truth.
Yusuke: I'll stop you!
Sensui: You will not!

Charge! Dark Angel

As Yusuke and Sensui flare up their spirit energy, Yusuke thinks that he can't tell just by listening to stories -he wants to see with his own eyes just how much power Sensui has. Botan says it's starting, but Mitarai says he can't -they must bring him back here.

Botan ask that if by "he" he means Kuwabara, and Shizuru asks him to confirm who he's talking about. Meanwhile, Yusuke dashes forward, straight towards Sensui.

He suddenly stops and does a quick move to get behind him, and then goes to do a punch. But Sensui blocks his strike with one arm, and then counters with a powerful kick.

Yusuke gets knocked back several meters, but goes on the attack again. But it's the same result as before -Sensui parries his attacks, and then counters with a kick. This time Yusuke ends up crashing into a street light.

Yusuke thinks he put his full power into that punch... it's almost as if he's fighting against a willow tree. Kurama thinks Sensui is the kind of opponent Yusuke is weakest against, as Sensui isn't avoiding Yusuke's punches, but he doesn't take them square-on, either. He's able to change the arc of Yusuke's punch, and then counterattack, all without giving up his own balance. Genkai says that's right -that is the fissure kick fist style.

RESSHU KEN

(Fissure Kick Fist)

The fissue kick fist style is a martial art based mainly on footwork. The upper body defends in order to shift the course of an attack, while a destructive kick crushes the opponent.

Genkai explains that the style is not allowed to be taught to someone until they've mastered all other forms. It's said to be the most powerful style ever, when compared to other barehanded fighting techniques. Back in the apartment, Mitarai says that Kuwabara mustn't be left alone, as he's the one Sensui has been searching for -the one with the ability to cut through dimensions! He knows Sensui intends to capture Kuwabara. Botan rushes outside to try and warn everyone, but sees they've moved further down the street.

She tries shouting to them, but Shizuru tells her to get down -Sniper has come back. He takes aim, this time using a bunch of marbles as projectiles. He shatters another window with them, and everyone inside has to take cover.

Sensui tells everyone that he can use the fissure kick fist style, but what's more, by mixing his own spirit powers with the fissure kick fist techniques, he's created his own personal martial art. As he says this, he summons a spirit energy projectile. He calls it reikou resshu ken (spirit light fissure kick fist). Back in the apartment, Shizuru knows Sniper is right where he wants them like this.

She calls out to Botan. Meanwhile, Sensui tosses his projectile up, and then leaps up to kick it.

RESSHU KOU KYU HA

(Fissure Kick Crimson Ball Wave)

It looks like the projectile is going to hit Kurama and the others, as it heads right at them. As this is happening, Shizuru tells Botan that she's going after her brother, and tells her to look after Mitarai. Back outside, Sensui's projectile is about to hit, but then suddenly rises upwards, missing the group.

It instead heads right towards Yusuke's apartment, and Botan and Mitarai both see it heading right at them. A second later, the apartment explodes, and everyone realizes where the projectile hit.

Koenma realizes they weren't Sensui's target in the first place, whilst Kuwabara says Botan, Mitarai and his sister were still in that apartment. He starts to run towards it, only for Sensui to come close to kicking him. He manages to get out of the way just in time, whilst Sensui's attack hits so hard it breaks the pavement. Yusuke tells Genkai and Koenma to see to Mitarai and the others, whilst he defeats Sensui.

Sensui tells him if that was a joke, he's not laughing. Yusuke says he's serious, and charges forward. He goes to punch him, and Sensui is ready to parry him, but Yusuke stops his fist before it connects.

He starts rapidly moving around, wondering of Sensui will be able to keep up with this speed. He goes to attack, but yet again, Sensui is easily able to block his strike, and kicks him away.

Yusuke ends up crashing through a window, and Sensui tells him he has some half-baked moves -he'd be better off re-leaning the basics. Elsewhere, Gamemaster and Gourmet see a plume of smoke in the distance, and realize that's the signal.

Yusuke tries to think of a way to fight against Sensui, but Sensui suddenly runs off. Yusuke follows him, and as Kuwabara and Kurama go with him, Koenma and Genkai head back to the apartment.

Sensui leads them through some alleys, but the three keep up with him. Meanwhile, Keiko gets to the bottom of the apartment, where she sees an injured Shizuru. Shizuru tells her to never mind her, but to go and tell Yusuke and the others to stop her brother. The bad guys are after his power, and knowing her brother, he's sure to get carried away and get too full of himself. Keiko says she will, and runs off.

Shizuru says she'll be right behind her, but in reality she's too injured to go on, and collapses. Back on the streets, Yusuke and the others appear to have lost Sensui. But then they see him in a crowd of people.

He once again runs off, this time entering a building. They follow him inside, and Yusuke asks him what he's trying to pull -he's not getting away!

Yusuke jumps up to punch him, but this time he moves aside in an instant. Yusuke attacks, but again his punch is parried. Sensui goes to kick him, but this time Yusuke is able to block the hit.

Despite this, he still gets knocked back. Sensui then goes on the offensive, using a barrage of fast kicks. Kuwabara calls out to Urameshi, and tells him he's the successor to the spirit wave. Kurama tells him that unless Yusuke can tie up Sensui's footwork somehow, he's got no chance of hitting back.

Yusuke gets hit by one of the kicks, but he manages to grab onto Sensui's leg. He then prepares one of his techniques: the reikou dan (spirit light bullet).

But before he can use it, Sensui jumps up by using his other leg, and kicks Yusuke in the head with it. He gets sent flying back, and sees Sensui walking towards him. But then Kuwabara yells out, telling Sensui to wait -he's going to face him now!

He's the warrior of love, Kuwabara the man! And he's going to show off his powered-up sword! As he starts to summon it, Sensui thinks this is perfect -he can confirm with his own eyes if they can make use of Kuwabara's ability. Kuwabara summons his sword... but he notices it isn't the same as from before, it's his usual spirit sword.

Sensui thinks that's not a dimensional blade... it seems Kuwabara doesn't know how to use it correctly. Kuwabara decides to attack anyway, and lunges forward. But Sensui is able to deflect the sword with just the palm of his hand.

He then kicks Kuwabara down. Kurama then runs forward, wielding his rose whip. He thinks he can use his rose whip to stop Sensui's fissure kick fist moves, but as he attacks, Sensui leaps back...

...and jumps through a window. As he runs off, everyone follows him onto a bridge outside. He then asks Kurama if he thinks he can use that whip of his in an area like this, where there are people everywhere. He then hears a motorbike nearby, and thinks Hagiri has some good timing. Sensui then runs off, so Yusuke and Kuwabara go after him.

Kurama is about to follow them, but Sniper then appears on a bike. Kurama asks if he's facing him now, and Sniper tells him that unless he'd like people to get hurt, he'll stay here with him a little longer.

Keiko arrives nearby, and sees some commotion on the bridge. She runs up and sees Kurama, but as soon as she does, Sniper aims at her and fires.

Fortunately for her, Puu protects her, and gets hit. Kurama attacks with his rose whip, but Sniper rides off, and jumps down from the bridge on his bike.

Keiko checks on Puu, and finds that, other than a lump on his head, he's ok. As Kurama checks on her, she tells him that Kuwabara is in trouble. Meanwhile, Yusuke and Kuwabara follow Sensui up some stairs, which are connected to a parking lot.

Kuwabara follows as well, but almost bumps into some kind on the way. He asks him what he's doing in a place like this, as a parking garage is dangerous. He's about to continue on his way, when he realizes he's in someone's territory.

He wonders if the territory belongs to the kid, not knowing the kid is one of the seven: Gamemaster. But then, Gourmet shows up, and extends his fingers. Up on the roof, Yusuke catches up with Sensui, and says they'll settle this right here. But he then hears Kuwabara scream.

Gamemaster and Gourmet are in a truck, and drag Kuwabara away with them. As Yusuke realizes Kuwabara is in trouble, Sensui once again runs off.

Yusuke watches as Sensui leaps over a fence, and lands in the back of the truck. The truck rushes off, and passes Kuwabara and Keiko along the way. They realizes that Kuwabara is also in it.

Yusuke leaps down, and tells them they aren't getting away. He fires off an enormous spirit gun blast, but realizes he forgot to hold back!

Kurama tells him a blast like that will blow the car away, Kuwabara and all! Yusuke realizes it's too late. Kuwabara screams that if he dies, he'll haunt Urameshi. Sensui prepares another projectile...

and kicks a crimson ball wave right at Yusuke's spirit gun blast. The two projectiles collide, and despite Sensui's being much smaller, they destroy each other. Yusuke can't believe his spirit gun was evenly matched by that puny ball. He thinks that, unconsciously, he held back.

Sensui further mocks Yusuke by waving at him, as the truck races off. Yusuke goes to a bike rack, just as Keiko arrives. She asks him what he's going to do, and he says whatever he has to do, to save Kuwabara.

He steals a bike and tells her he won't do anything reckless, whilst she should take care of everything here. As the truck heads out of the city, Yusuke starts pedaling as hard as he can.

Sensui and the others succeed in taking Kuwabara away! Will Yusuke be able to rescue Kuwabara? There are two more days until the doorway to the Demon Realm is opened -only two more days!
