Synopsis
Koenma contacts Yusuke, and has bad news: they've discovered that there is only one week to go until the hole is fully opened. They have, at least, found the location of it: it's in a place called Irima Cave. Yusuke wants to go right now and heads off to find Kurama, but Kuwabara has other plans: he's going to a concert! Yusuke can't believe he'd go to something like that at a time like this, but Kuwabara is adamant about going -this is the first time Megallica have performed live in Japan, after all. The two comes to blows over it, but eventually Kuwabara heads off, whilst Yusuke tells him if an enemy attacks him, he won't come to his aid. At the cave, Itsuki says he feels like the hole is starting to accelerate all on its own, as if it were alive. He says they now just need to find someone with the ability to break through the subspace peripheral field. Sensui says they may find someone in an unexpected place.
Yusuke meets everyone at his apartment, but Kurama isn't with them. He finds out that Kurama didn't go to school today, and gets frustrated. He decides to head off to a game center, although Genkai thinks he's going to check on Kuwabara. In the Spirit Realm, Kurama confronts Koenma, believing that he knows who the mastermind behind the tunnel plot is. Back on Earth, as Kuwabara and his friends leave the concert, they are confronted by another one of the seven: Seaman, real name Kiyoshi Mitarai. Seaman is able to create creatures by mixing his blood with liquid, and creates two creatures using rain water. He takes Sawamura hostage.
Meanwhile, Yusuke really has gone to the game center, and plays a game of Game Battler. As Kuwabara and his friends realize they're in trouble, Seaman tells them that he's been waiting for a chance to kill Kuwabara. Kuwabara thinks he's the same as Kamiya, but Seaman tells him not to compare them. He thinks about what Sensui asked him -he'd seen the true nature of humanity, so all of mankind should be exterminated. Seaman had thought about how people enjoyed bullying him at school on a daily basis, and how Sensui's words resonated with him. He tells them this is why he's going to kill anyone who gets in his way -starting with Kuwabara. Kuwabara tries to get him to let his friends go, but Seaman says they're going to kill all of humanity. Kirishima and Okubo try to attack, but are swiftly beaten.
Kuwabara also tries, but without his spirit powers, he also gets floored. Seaman starts to laugh -how is Kuwabara going to overcome this crisis?
