After a new ring is put in place, the next match of the final round begins: Kuwabara versus elder Toguro.

Synopsis
Due to the ring being destroyed in the previous match, a break is announced before the next fight. Elder Toguro decides to head over and provoke Kuwabara, who he will be fighting next. The Urameshi team later head to their waiting room, where Kuwabara admits he's a little nervous about his next fight. Everyone then hears a lot of noise outside, as younger Toguro carries the entire ring from the other stadium on his back.
Hiei wakes up and asks what happened in the tournament, only to find out from Kurama that the last matches haven't been fought yet. With the new ring in place, the next match begins. Kuwabara immediately uses his new sword and scores a direct hit on Toguro, slicing him in half.
However it's revealed that Toguro is able to shift his body around and change his form instantly, which results in Kuwabara hitting nothing more than a doll. Toguro hits Kuwabara in the back and impales him, and shows him what he can do. As Kuwabara falls, he drops his sword, and Toguro picks it up. He thinks it's a memento from Genkai, and when Kuwabara asks him what he means by that, he realizes Kuwabara doesn't know Genkai is dead. Toguro explains to him about what happened to Genkai, and how his brother killed her.
Kuwabara realizes he was the only one who didn't know, which angers him. Toguro tries to finish him off, but his attack fails to penetrate Kuwabara's skin. Kuwabara fires back with a projectile attack, which slices Toguro into pieces. But Toguro is able to pull himself back together.
He reveals that he can change the place of his vital organs instantly, and as long as his heart and brain aren't crushed, he can't be killed. He then impales Kuwabara again, and prepares to slam him to the ground. Kuwabara is in a desperate situation -can he escape from this crisis?
-Most of this episode's first few minutes are not in the manga. The manga starts with Hiei waking up, and finding out from Kurama that younger Toguro carried the other ring over. The anime added some new scenes, such as elder Toguro threatening Kuwabara, and the part where Shizuru and the others talk to Kuwabara in the waiting room.
-In the manga, Hiei is the one who asks Yusuke why he hasn't hold Kuwabara about Genkai yet. In the anime, Kurama is the one who asks.
-In the anime, after Kuwabara slices Toguro in half, there are some reaction shots with Jorge and Koto, and Botan's group. These aren't in the manga.
-In the manga, Toguro does not turn his arm into a drill, he extends his fingers as he's done before. The anime changes it so he transforms his arm into a drill.
