Synopsis
Jin uses a technique called shura senpu ken (asura whirlwind fist), which has a tornado cover his arm.. He tries to hit Yusuke with it, but the latter jumps back. Even though Yusuke is merely grazed by the attack, it's still enough to send him flying from the ring. Yusuke gets back on the ring, and Jin tries to use the move again, but Yusuke goes on the offensive instead. Jin has to defend himself from Yusuke's rapid punches.
Yusuke eventually manages to land a hit, but before he can attack again, Jin flies up into the air to recover. Yusuke fires a spirit gun blast at him, but he's able to summon a larger tornado over himself, and deflects the shot.
Believing the spirit gun to be useless against him, Jin flies towards Yusuke, with his whirlwind fist at the ready. But Yusuke remains in place, and fires another spirit gun blast at the last moment. However, even this fails, as Jin turns so his gusts formed upward current, the moment the spirit gun struck his whirlwind fist. By doing this, it changed the direction of the shockwave, and therefore kept the damage down to a minimum. Hiei thinks Jin appears to have seen many battles, and has a lot more experience than Yusuke. He wonders if there is any way for Yusuke to win, but Yusuke tells him that goes without saying -there's no way! Hiei doesn't think he should admit to that, but says he's getting sick of waiting. He'll be fighting next, and doesn't care about what the rules say. Jin says it's about time they finished this, and this time uses the whirlwind fist with both arms.
Realizing he has no other options, Yusuke goes into a stance, and spirit energy starts to cover his entire body. The masked fighter knows of the technique and thinks what he is doing is risky. Butajiri thinks whatever Yusuke is doing is useless, and believes it's obvious Jin will win this fight. As Jin dives down, just what kind of technique is Yusuke going to produce from this stance -and will it be of any use against Jin's whirlwind fists?
-Any scenes with Botan, Kuwabara, Kurama, Keiko, Shizuru, Koenma, Jorge, Sakyo, Butajiri and Toguro in this episode do not happen in the manga.
-In the manga, Koto happens to mention about Jin not being out of bounds during the part where he takes off after being hit by Yusuke. In the anime, it's Botan who brings it up, and Koto then explains it.
-Ruka does not speak in the manga's equivalent chapters, but she does have some dialogue in this episode.
