In order to rescue the pitiable young girl Yukina, Yusuke and the others storm the estate of Gonzo Tarukane, the wicked upstart millionaire. There, they completely defeated the band of demons that awaited them. However, the Toguro brothers then stood before Yusuke and the others! Will Yusuke and the others indeed be able to rescue Yukina safely?

Burn, Kuwabara!
The Underlying Power of Love

Yusuke says these guys are their last opponents, and Kuwabara is getting all fired up. From the room above the arena, Tarukane frantically reminds the Toguro brothers that he's counting on them. The Black Black Club members see that even Tarukane can't keep his composure this time, but that's not surprising given the stakes involved for this wager. Yusuke and the others see the members all laughing, but Kuwabara tells Yukina to hold on, as he will save her.

The younger Toguro brother says it was good of them to come, and hopes they won't go too hard on them. Kuwabara realizes they can't save Yukina unless that defeat these guys. In the Spirit Realm, Jorge asks Koenma what's the matter. Koenma says that the younger Toguro brother is incredibly strong, and he saw him only once before, a long time ago.

Kuwabara says he can't sense much demon energy from them, and thinks this'll be an easy win. But Yusuke says it won't -he doesn't know how, but somehow he can tell the younger brother has an incredibly strong energy about him. He just has this feeling. Younger Toguro tells his brother to go, so he throws off his shirt and leaps up, as his body starts to transform.

His body completely changes shape, turning into a weapon: a large sword. Younger Toguro explains that his older brother is capable of transforming himself into weapons, and the force depends on the ability of whoever it using it. And he has the ability to allow his brother's power to exhibit itself to its fullest! He powers up.

Yusuke's team area amazed by the energy Toguro is sending out, Yusuke feels that at even this far away, he is going to get crushed by the pressure of it. Just as Yusuke tells Botan to stay back, Toguro is already upon them. He swipes with his sword, forcing everyone to jump back.

But as Yusuke and Kuwabara land, they have both had their clothes sliced. Kuwabara generates him spirit sword, but the moment he does, Toguro is on him. Kuwabara manages to bock his strike, but has left himself wide open.

Toguro punches him with great force, but Kuwabara manages to jump back just before the hit connects. He's still sent crashing into a wall, but Toguro tells him it looks like he's capable of a few smart plays. However it will no longer be necessary for him to pull any shrewd tricks like that, as he'll be sending him to the next world soon enough.

Toguro starts to power up again, but Yusuke runs over and tells him to look this way. Yusuke fires a spirit gun blast at him, but Toguro jumps over it, resulting in it hitting a wall.

Toguro is right above Yusuke, so Yusuke uses his spirit shotgun technique. As Toguro descends, he generates some kind of barrier which stops the blasts from hitting him.

Toguro seemingly crashes into the ground whilst on fire, but once the smoke clears, he's still standing. He tells Yusuke he's clearly underestimated him, as he is pretty tough. Yusuke comes up with a plan, and charges towards him. Toguro swings his sword at him, but Yusuke jumps over at the last moment...

...and fires a spirit gun shot at Toguro's head, at point blank range. The blast completely covers Toguro's head, but once the smoke clears...

...he's still alive, and wasn't harmed at all. He reveals that his brother has become a shield to protect him. He then punches Yusuke across the arena, sending him back to where Kuwabara is.

Toguro explains that he forgot to mention that his brother can change into more that just one thing. He was expecting more from them, as he wanted them to make this enjoyable. He then attacks them both again.

Tarukane laughs it all up, and believes that Toguro is going to win -luck is still with him! He tells Sakyo that it appears he's going to win the final wager. Sakyo says nothing in response. Toguro continues to beat up Yusuke...

...and all of this is being seen by Koenma. Koenma wonders what to do, when Kurama appears. He explains that Yusuke's opponents are the Toguro brothers, but he can't do anything from here. He wonders where Hiei is, since he was following Yusuke's team. Kurama heads off, saying it's not his nature to just sit around.

Jorge wonders where Kurama is going, and Koenma say it's obvious: he's going to Tarukane's estate. Jorge doubts he can get there in time now, but Koenma tells him Kurama is the only one they can count on now. At the mansion, Hiei enters and finds some unconscious guards. He tells Yukina to hold on, as he'll save her now. Back in the arena, Toguro continues to beat up Yusuke and Kuwabara.

Tarukane tells Toguro to not finish them off all at once, but to kill them off slowly. Yukina looks away, but Tarukane tells her to watch closely -this is going to be the end of the foolish humans who tried to save her... just like that other time. As Yukina begins to relive this memory, somehow Kuwabara is able to also see it.

Tarukane was holding a talisman, and said he had heard that when an ice maiden touches one of these, she will be burned. She told him to stop, but he placed it on her arm, causing her to cry out in pain. Tarukane loved every moment of it, as he wanted her to shed tears. Later on, one of Tarukane's guards told her to just endure it a little longer. Once he saw an opening, he told her he would help her get out of here, no matter what. He said he had a sister back home who was about her age.

Sometime later, he told her they now had a chance, as Tarukane had gone traveling overseas. Yukina said it would cause him trouble, but he told her this was no time to be worried about others. The two started to run through the mansion, but before they could get out, they were cut off by Tarukane and a couple of guards.

Tarukane told the back stabber he'd given himself away, and had him executed right before Yukina's eyes. Back in the present, Toguro hits Yusuke again, and is disappointed at how fragile he is. But it seems he won't be able to entertain him any further. However Kuwabara then calls out to him, glowing with energy. He asks if Tarukane is even human, as he doesn't believe any human could act like that.

Toguro asks him if his rise in power means he'll be able to entertain him some more, and tosses Yusuke aside. Kuwabara tells him to move out of the way -he's not the one he wants to kill. It's the filthy lowlife behind him. When Tarukane hears this, he laughs and tells him to come on up here, if he can. He tells Toguro to kill him.

Kuwabara generates his spirit sword and runs towards Toguro, who has his brother change back to a shield. Kuwabara does several strikes, but Toguro blocks them all. He tells Kuwabara he still doesn't get it, and punches him hard in the chest again. He tells him that he's too slow, he can plainly see all of his actions.

Kuwabara tells Urameshi that he has a favor to ask. Meanwhile, Tarukane tells Toguro that's enough -he's to finish them off now, and he wants him to do it in some full-blown, merciless way. Kuwabara has told his plan to the others, but Botan thinks it's too dangerous, whilst Yusuke thinks a stunt like that will get him killed. However Kuwabara is fine with that, so Yusuke decides to go along with his plan.

Kuwabara charges towards Toguro. Toguro says that if Kuwabara is going to take the honorable way out, that's fine with him -he'll slice him in half and get it over with! Kuwabara leaps towards him, and Toguro is ready to strike, but then Yusuke fires off a spirit gun blast.

The blast hits Kuwabara in the back, which causes him to be propelled further forwards at great speed, so much so that Toguro can't react in time. Kuwabara stabs right through his stomach, and after realizing what just happened, Toguro collapses.

Tarukane thinks this is impossible, whilst Sakyo tells him it's game over. All together, he has just won 72 trillion, 400 billion, and wants the money by the end of the month. He then signs off. The other members tell Tarukane that if this kind of opportunity should ever come up again, he should call them. But then they realize that'll never happen, now that Tarukane is bankrupt.

As Tarukane realizes that he's just lost everything, he comes back to his senses and tells Sakashita to get a helicopter ready. He plans to take Yukina and get away from here, as so long as they have the hirui stones, he'll still be able to make money. But just then, a door opens behind them. The guards pull out their guns, but a second later they and Sakashita all fall down. Hiei has arrived.

Hiei tells Tarukane he's the only one left, and the way he sealed Yukina away in a perimeter with talismans was the reason he couldn't find her with his evil eye. But once he took her out of there, he ran out of luck. Tarukane begs to be spared, and offers Hiei any amount of money he wants. He then asks him if he wants to team up, as Yukina's hirui stones have incredible worth. This really angers Hiei, who punches him in the face.

Outside, Botan and Yusuke notice that Hiei has arrived, and is repeatedly punching Tarukane. Botan says this is terrible, if they don't stop Hiei, he'll get in trouble. If someone from the demon realm kills a human, then no matter the reason, they'll become a criminal. Yusuke calls out to Hiei and tells him to stop.

Hiei does stop, but then tells Tarukane he won't be getting of easy. He is about to deliver a final punch, when Yukina grabs his arm and stops him.

She asks him to stop, but he asks why -Tarukane was the one who made her suffer. Yukina tells him that she doesn't want to see any more of people injuring each other, and hating each other, no matter what sort of person they may be. She begs him to stop. Hiei decides to cease his attack, as he doesn't think there's any need for her to grieve over a guy like Tarukane.

Botan says it looks like things are more or less under control. As they go to check on Kuwabara, Yukina looks at Hiei, and then asks who he is.

Hiei realizes his sister doesn't remember him, so he tells her he is a friend of the ones below. Yukina rushes down to help them, and as she leaves, Kurama says it looks like he hurried here for no reason. He asks Hiei if him not telling Yukina that he is her brother is the right thing to do, and Hiei says what's the necessity in doing that?

Kurama tells him it's up to him, and Hiei says he's fine with things the way they are. Yukina runs down to the arena, where she meets Botan and Yusuke. Yusuke tells her he is fine, but she should hurry and go over to Kuwabara. She does so and places her hands on his face, telling him that she has some power to heal wounds.

She starts to use her power to heal him, so Yusuke and Botan decide to go and check things upstairs. Yukina apologizes to Kuwabara for going through so much trouble for her. He's fine with it, but then sees the burn mark on her arm. He feels he's the one who should apologize for what she's been through. He won't ask for forgiveness, but he does tell her that there are a lot of good-natured humans, too.

Upstairs, Yusuke is surprised to see that Kurama is also here. Meanwhile Kuwabara goes on to say that the humans around him are all idiots, but they're all plenty likeable too. And so, he asks her to please not hate all of humanity. She tells him it's all right -she likes humans, and she's fond of him.

"Thank you..."
