Synopsis

The Autobots help stop some terrorists, but the Decepticons then appear. Galvatron warns the Autobots that if his current plan fails, he has an ultimate weapon. The Decepticons withdraw, as Rodimus wonders what this new weapon could be. Meanwhile, Swindle infiltrates Metroplex, having been sent their to steal his transforming cog. Swindle takes the cog, but is then confronted by First Aid. First Aid demands he give him the cog back, which Swindle finds amusing. He'd heard First Aid is a pacifist, but he doesn't believe there's a Transformer alive who won't fight for his life. He shoots at First Aid, but First Aid doesn't fight back and gets blasted. Swindle leaves with the cog, and when the other Autobots return, First Aid announces that he doesn't fit in with them. He transforms and leaves.

Trypticon is sent to destroy Metroplex, but the Aerialbots distract him and Silverbolt manages to fly inside his mouth and do some damage internally. Hot Spot says he'll try to talk to First Aid, whilst Spike and Daniel manage to get inside Trypticon and steal his transforming cog. However, only First Aid has the knowledge to install the cog correctly into Metroplex. As the Autobots head back to Metroplex, the Decepticons find out that Trypticon's cog has been stolen. They instead install Metroplex's cog into him, which causes him some transformation issues, but Trypticon maintains he can still crush Metroplex.

Trypticon finds Metroplex and starts fighting him. The two keep having issues where they transform at random times, but Trypticon starts to get the upper hand. Meanwhile, Hot Spot tracks First Aid down at a junkyard, which is owned by a robot called NUL-A. Hot Spot tells First Aid the Autobots may have a lot of fighters, but they only have one First Aid, and he's the only one who can save them now. The return to where the battle is, and Blades drops First Aid off into Metroplex.

First Aid makes some modifications to the cog inside Metroplex. Metroplex is able to get himself fully under control again, and manages to pick up Trypticon and throw him into a lake. Galvatron appears and threatens to use his ultimate weapon, but Rodimus has realized Galvatron has been bluffing about it this entire time -if Galvatron did have an ultimate weapon, he would have used it a long time ago. Galvatron tells Rodimus they'll be another day, and flies off. First Aid jumps down from Metroplex, and says he guesses he does belong with the Autobots after all, and doesn't know how to thank them. Rodimus says he should be thanking them -he was feeling miserable and useless before this, but now he know he's got what it takes to command the Autobots.

Notes

-As Swindle fights First Aid, the inside of Metroplex looks fine. But later on, when First Aid explains to the Autobots that he couldn't stop Swindle, Metroplex's innards are in a terrible state, and Hot Spot and Magnus can be seen clearing away some debris. It seems to hint that originally Swindle was to do more than just take the cog, maybe he set a bomb off or something to do some internal damage to Metroplex, but then the scene showing him doing this was cut. Unless the original script gets released, we won't know for sure.

Errors

-Octane can be seen with the Decepticons in the first battle, who is probably there by mistake (see Starscream's Ghost for more details). He might have been used instead of Onslaught.
-First Aid was seen firing a gun at Decepticons in this episode, so why is he suddenly a pacifist now?
-When First Aid asks Blades if he can transform, his eyes flash from blue to white a few times.
-Rodimus Prime's chest Autobot insignia is missing when the rubble hits him.
-First Aid's eyes are colored white instead of blue when Swindle blasts him.
-Blitzwing, who was banished from the Decepticons in this episode, briefly makes an appearance floating next to Galvatron when Swindle returns to the Decepticons. Part of his head is colored purple instead of yellow and when the shot changes, he's gone, with Cyclonus appearing in his place.
-Hot Spot has a regular mouth instead of a mouthplate when he tells First Aid about how powerful Metroplex is.
-Rodimus is missing his spoiler during this shot.
-Hot Spot has a normal mouth again when he tells Rodimus that Teletraan II has picked up Trypticon heading their way.
-The Autobot cars look really out of scale with the background for this shot -either they're too big or the roads are too small.
-When Silverbolt leaves Trypticon, he is colored like, and appears to have been drawn like, Air Raid.
-Rodimus says only First Aid can install Metroplex's transforming cog, but Pipes was previously shown doing it in this episode.
-Vortex somehow misses the Autobot insignia still on the front of the disguised Rodimus.
-Daniel makes the exact same scream four times in a row.
-Rodimus and Magnus fire pink lasers during this shot. Rodimus is also missing his chest insignia, although it does appear when he moves.
-Cyclonus somehow doesn't recognize Spike or Daniel, despite talking to both of them before in this episode. Unless he finds humans so useless he can't be bothered to remember what they look like...
-Ultra Magnus' left shoulder overlaps Rodimus' spoiler during this shot.
-Rodimus is missing his mouth during this shot, but it does appear when he starts talking.
