Synopsis
Lord Chumley, a big game hunter, steals a Russian military jet, which causes tensions between the USA and Russia. Believing the whole thing will blow over, he tells his servant Dinsmore that he intends to complete his trophy collection by taking the head of the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime! To do this, he and Dinsmore capture several Autobots using some elaborate methods. Dinsmore then contacts Optimus and challenges him to save the Autobots. Optimus accepts his challenge and heads to Dinsmore's castle.
Learning about Chumley's antics, Megatron tells Astrotrain and Blitzwing to go to the castle and assist. Optimus arrives at the castle first, where he faces a variety of challenges and traps Chumley has set. Astrotrain and Blitzwing then arrive, but Blitzwing sets off one of the traps meant for Optimus, leading to him being covered in a liquid which disables him.
As Optimus fights Chumley's robot scorpion, Astrotrain intervenes and shoots Optimus in the back. Outraged that he didn't get to be the one to best his target, Chumley attacks Astrotrain and then has him and Blitzwing taken prisoner. Bumblebee manages to contact Optimus and emits a homing signal. Optimus gets up and enters the castle, where he fights and destroys Chumley's giant robot spider. As Optimus makes his way to the Autobots, Chumley realizes he's out of things to send against the Autobot leader. Getting desperate, he releases Astrotrain and Blitzwing, with the deal being they'll fight Optimus. But Astrotrain immediately tries to stomp on Chumley.
Optimus frees the Autobots, who run in guns blazing. Astrotrain and Blitzwing retreat, but Optimus doesn't mind, since he has the trophy he wants right here: Chumley. Chumley and the stolen jet are taken back to Russia. As the Autobots head back home, a news reporter states that that global tensions have declined sharply today, as it turns out the Soviet jet had been stolen by a game hunter. World leaders have praised Autobot leader Optimus Prime for returning Earth from the brink of war.
-The Oktober Guard are from the G.I. Joe series, and are the Russian counterpart to the Joes. The team appeared in a few episodes of the '80s G.I. Joe cartoon.
-Dinsmore hides in a tank, and is never seen again. It's implied he managed to escape, since he's not seen with Chumley when the Autobots dump him in Russia.
-Jazz and Inferno are present during this shot, but Chumley captured both of them earlier.
-When Chumley observes Prime through the telescope, the wrong background has been used, making Prime appear to be driving through the sky.
-When Astrotrain says "Blitzwing no, it's", his mouth doesn't move.
-Astrotrain is seen firing a pink laser at Optimus, but when the shot changes, Optimus is hit by a yellow laser blast.
-When Blitzwing tells Chumley to never trust Decepticons, Chumley's mouth is moving like he's saying it.
-Then when Astrotrain says the Autobots are free, Blitzwing's mouth is moving.
