Synopsis

On another world, Deceptitran and his robot drones rule over the Tlalakans, who are used to create energon. The Tlalakans band together and start fighting Deceptitran's forces, causing him to send out a distress signal. On Earth, this is picked up by Seaspray, and Perceptor is able to locate the source of the signal. The two Autobots head to the planet along with Cosmos and Bumblebee. They arrive and are shot at by Deceptitran's drones, causing Cosmos to crash. The Autobots then meet some of the Tlalakans, who take them back to their hidden Well of Transformation.

Alana explains that the well allows her people to change their bodies to what they choose. She warns the Autobots they can't enter it, believing that robots will be destroyed by it. The Decepticons then arrive on the planet, having also picked up the distress signal. The Autobots leave the well and are attacked, leading to Bumblebee being captured. The rest of the Autobots are taken to Alana's underwater city. The Autobots and Tlalakans arm themselves for a counterattack.

As the Tlalakans and Autobots fight the Decepticons, Seaspray and Alana find Bumblebee and free him. Seaspray and Alana then go back to the well, where Seaspray believes himself to be more than just a bunch of transistors and bolts. He jumps into the well and transforms himself into a Tlalakan. He and Alana then return to the city, which has been found by the Decepticons and is under attack. Realizing he can't fight the Decepticons as a Tlalakan, Seaspray returns to the well and changes himself back to normal. Alana goes with him, where she uses the well to change herself into a Transformer!

Alana and Seaspray go to where Deceptitran is, and reprogram him. Deceptitran sends his drones after the Decepticons, who fire on them as they chase Seaspray and Alana. Seaspray fires a shot at the Decepticon's energon supply, causing it to detonate. This results is a series of massive explosions, destroying the city.

The Decepticons see the energon has been destroyed, and leave the planet. Whilst Seaspray apologizes for what happened to the city, the Tlalakans believe it was worth it, as they are now free from the Decepticons. Alana changes herself back to normal, and Seaspray thinks she must not have liked being a robot. She tells him she is what she is, and he says he guesses it is better this way. But she says that doesn't mean she doesn't love him. You don't have to be the same outside, to share the same feeling inside. This makes Seaspray very happy, as he transforms and heads outs with her.
