Synopsis
Megatron creates a being of pure energy called Kremzeek. Kremzeek is dropped off at the Autobot HQ, where he starts running wild, disabling Autobots and computer systems alike. Sparkplug comes up with a solution, and sprays the remaining unaffected Autobots with a insulation compound. This stops Kremzeek from entering them, but he then uses Teletraan I to get to Japan. The remaining Autobots -Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Blaster and Inferno -find out where Kremzeek has gone. Omega Supreme is called back to Autobot HQ, and the Autobots use him to head to Japan.
They arrive, but Optimus realizes Omega was never sprayed with the insulation compound. Omega takes off, but Kremzeek enters and disables him, causing him to crash. Kremzeek then starts causing chaos in Japan, such as taking over a train, getting into some arcade games and finally heading into a electronic device manufacturing plant. The Autobots follow him, where they meet Doctor Souji Yoshikawa. Yoshikawa thinks radio waves might effect Kremzeek, so Blaster tries using them. Blaster manages to get Kremzeek trapped inside his chest compartment, and fries him with energy.
However this causes Kremzeek to multiply, as the Kremzeeks resume their rampage across Japan. Meanwhile, the Decepticons deploy their new invention: an energy magnet. The magnet is activated, which starts draining power from ships. The Autobots want to try and reunite the Kremzeeks, which they do by wiring up a tower and hitting it with electricity. The Kremzeeks head to the tower, but they all merge together into a massive, single being. The Decepticons then boost the power of the energy magnet, causing it to drain power from the city, the Autobots and even Kremzeek. Realizing what the Decepticons are up to, the Autobots find a way to send Kremzeek to the energy magnet.
Kremzeek arrives at the magnet and destroys it, causing the Decepticons to flee. The Autobots reluctantly then destroy Kremzeek by dispersing him. They then head back to Omega Supreme, who Yoshikawa says will help them fix him. But then a surviving Kremzeek leaps out of Blaster, and starts going on a rampage -as the Autobots chase after him.
-This episode's writer, David Wise, has stated that one of the things Hasbro suggested to add to this episode was a scene where Kremzeek rips a bunch of live wires out and shoves them into his mouth. David thankfully convinced them to not do this.
