As Donovan battles Bishamon, Pyron arrives on Earth.

Synopsis

Hsien-Ko and her sister Mei-Ling are attacked by some spider beasts, but the two vampire hunters destroy them all. They then head to a village to do a job, only to find out that the dark ones have already been defeated. They are told that this other vampire hunter used a huge sword and wore strange beads, and the best part was they didn't even have to pay him for his work.

The other villagers get a bit rowdy and try to prevent Mei-Ling from leaving, but she and Hsien-Ko defeat them all. Meanwhile, Donovan and Anita travel to another city, where they meet a casino owner who is after some dark armor. The armor is worn by a Darkstalker, who has setup camp near to the city. Donovan heads out, and refuses the money his employer offers him.

Near to the city, some men try to lure the Darkstalker out, wanting to claim the armor as there is a huge reward on offer for it. They try to kill some innocent people they were meant to be escorting, but the armor appears before they can. The armor, which was taken by a man called Bishamon, encourages them to try and possess it, and then merges with Bishamon's spirit. Bishamon quickly kills the men, but is then attacked by Donovan.

Bishamon hears the remaining men cheering Donovan on, and decides to get rid of them. He throws out some projectiles which cause part of the cliff to crumble, but Donovan stabs his sword into it to stop it from falling. Bishamon then throws his sword into Donovan a couple of times, but Donovan doesn't react. Bishamon becomes enraged and confused, knowing that Donovan has the blood of a dark one inside him, yet he still protects the humans. Bishamon explodes, leaving the armor behind. His spirit appears and tells Donovan the life he has chosen to lead is that of a true and virtuous soul.

Anita appears, and Bishamon tells Donovan his journey for answers is no longer solely his own. Meanwhile, the casino owner arrives, and puts on the armor, but is immediately destroyed by it. Bishamon decides that he will don the armor once more, hoping to someday conquer it, and truly become free. He puts Donovan and Anita on a horse, and tells her to stay with him until the end.

A being called Pyron arrives on Earth, and is informed by some Huitzil about the power of Demitri and Morrigan. They believe that if a third being of their power appeared, then it could be possible for the extermination of Pyron. This pleases Pyron, who is excited at the prospect of battle.

Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling come across Donovan and Anita, and help heal Donovan. They explain who they are and what they do, and Hsien-Ko reveals they were able to save Donovan thanks to some medicine specifically made for Darkstalkers. Just then, some Huitzil arrive at the temple they're in, and destroy it.

The group survive, and Donovan destroys all of the Huitzil. Data from the battle is transmitted back to where Pyron is, and the Huitzil there believe Donovan is the third being of great power. If he, Demitri and Morrigan converged, they believe that even Pyron would perish. Pyron says he understands, and wants to gather them. He will use his power to end all of their lives. Pyron creates several objects, which are sent across the planet.

Some people see these bright lights, and think that the sun has returned. But they then realize that there seem to be several suns in the sky. These suns drop fireballs over the city, badly damaging it. The light can be seen at Demitri's castle, as Pyron issues a challenge to come and fight him. Demitri opens some curtains, and cowers from the light. He screams in anger.
