Giga finds out that they are ready -he, Mega, Hydra and Buster will be moving to the main base. Giga intends for this base to be destroyed, leaving no trace, but Mega walks in and says it is to be left as it is. She intends to use it as a laboratory, and Blood has no objection to that.

Shuuta is thinking hard about those new Destron Godmasters, when Minerva and Can's parrot and armadillo come over to him. Cab then appears, and says that today is just not his day. He's all worn out from being in detention with Mr. Kaiser, one of his teachers. Cab's parrot drops the reason he was in detention -he scored a zero on a test! Cab yells at his parrot to not tell his friends what they don't need to know.

Mr. Kaiser then runs towards them and is attacked by Cab's pets. He says Cab torments him, being a genius at pulling pranks, but always getting terrible test scores! He has a letter for Cab, from the Karin Islands. Cab takes it and realises Donq must have sent it to him.

After school, Cab, Shuuta and Minerva return to Cab's home and read the letter. They find out that a new, massive tidal power plant has been opened on Viscas Island, and the power generated there will also be used on the Karin Islands. Shuuta is glad that Prince Cab's kingdom will become a civilized nation, although Cab thinks he's making fun of them. But he is glad that they will be able to use electricity for the first time. The power will be created from the water. The three head back to the Cybertron base, where the Cybertron Pretenders are. A meeting is called and the subject is about one thing: the Destron Godmasters.

Hawk has a tape played which shows footage of Hydra and Buster fighting. But Hawk has part of it played in slow motion, and they make a surprising discovery: it seems that these new Destrons are capable of healing themselves in battle! They watch the video and see both Hydra and Buster take hits, only for the damage to be repaired in less than a second.

Phoenix asks what exactly the Godmasters are. They aren't Pretenders of Headmasters, but Hawk says that are another type of lifeform. They are two fearsome new opponents. Cab tries to lighten the mood by saying the Godmasters are nothing to worry about, but Hawk scolds him by saying they're being serious here -as far as they know Hydra and Buster could have even more powers that they just haven't seen yet.

Later on, Shuuta tells Cab to not think about the scolding he got from Hawk forever, but it is Minerva who snaps him out of it. She asks if he's going to be a crybaby for the rest of his life and that he's not acting like a man. Cab says he's no crybaby and goes to sit with them, quickly eating his cake.

Meanwhile, at the Destron base, Cancer tells Mega he has a special Chinese fighting style technique he learnt from the man who adopted him when he was an orphan. Mega asks Gilmer to be their sand bag for a moment -something he isn't glad to be reduced to -and Cancer goes into a stance before leaping high into the air.

CHOU RYU KEN!

(Super Dragon Fist!)

This move knocks Gilmer down, and Mega says it was splendid. Bullhorn thinks Cancer has become Mega's pet, but Wilder thinks he should become her pet also. Giga then walks in with Hydra and Buster, and talks to Mega about what they are going to do. In their plot to take over the Earth, Mega suggests that start by taking over Asia first. To do this, they shall destroy all sources of energy in southeast Asia. Their first target shall be the new tidal power plant at Viscas Island.

Giga tells the Godmasters to move out, but Blood wants to go with them. Hydra tells the Pretenders not to interfere, as so far they haven't had one single strategic success -and Buster reminds them that their recent plot of using animals in Africa failed as well. Hydra says they can come and observe them if they want, that would work well. Blood says they shouldn't speak to them like that, but Hydra says that the Pretenders are worthless, and nothing but talk.

The Pretenders go to smash them, but they leap over their heads and use the Masterforce to suit up. Getting into their Transtectors, Hydra and Buster leave the Destron base.

Blood says that they are Destron warriors, and Dauros can't believe Godmasters are better than them. Giga tells them that the Godmasters have hidden strengths which Pretenders cannot possible match. When Godmasters bond with their Transtectors, the three energies -Tenchoukon, Chichoukon and Jinchoukon -all become one. The power of the Godmasters is limitless. They don't mean to ignore the Pretenders, but the Godmasters and Headmaster Juniors are better suited for their goals on Earth. The time for the Pretenders to use their strength will surely soon come. The Pretenders agree and walk off, but Dauros isn't happy. This is like they are saying the Headmaster Juniors are more useful than them. Blood says there is nothing they can do other than doing their best.

Meanwhile, Hydra and Buster arrive at Viscas Island and start their attack. The attack is soon shown on the news, and when the Cybertron Pretenders hear that two unidentified jets transformed into robots, they know it is the Godmasters. Hawk tells the others to move out now, whilst he and the Headmaster Juniors will be with them soon.

Lander, Phoenix and Diver move out. Meanwhile, the Destron Pretenders make their move, attacking an oil refinery on Viscas Island. Hawk tells the Headmaster Juniors that they're going, and the three suit up.

The Destron Pretenders change to their robot modes and continue to cause major damage to the refinery. Meanwhile, Hydra is amused that the Cybertron Pretenders think they can defeat him, and he gives Lander and Phoenix a taste of his Choukon power, using a projectile technique called "God Cross".

Diver is fighting Buster, but Buster changes from using his guns to his Choukon power. He uses it as a projectile to simply destroy the cover Diver was hiding behind.

At the refinery, Metalhawk arrives with the Headmaster Juniors and kicks Blood with such force he crashes into Gilmer. Cab starts putting out fires whilst Minerva starts tending to the injured. Using his titanium saber, Metalhawk cuts deep into Blood.

Shuuta helps Metalhawk out by kicking down Dauros, and the Destron Pretenders decide to retreat. Rather than follow them, Metalhawk, Shuuta and Cab go to help their allies, who are losing badly against the Godmaster brothers. Metalhawk starts to fight with Hydra.

Cab and Shuuta try to attack Buster, but are shoved back when they get hit with a blast of Choukon power. Buster says he'll crush Shuuta's skull, but then Cab tries to stop him. Buster throws Shuuta away and stops on Cab. Metalhawk and Diver try to help him, but get pushed back by Buster's Choukon power.

Metalhawk leaps up into the air and uses his "Shining Arrow" projectile technique. This distracts Buster, giving Diver enough time to get above him and throw his axe straight into Buster's arm.

Hydra runs over to his injured brother and removes the axe. Hydra curses the Pretenders and tells them that they've escaped death this time. He and Buster then transform and depart.

Back at the Destron base, Buster punches a wall in frustration and thinks he is weaker than his brother. Hydra tells him that isn't the case, and Mega says the amount of Ten-Chi-Jin power they each have is the same. It was just the weakness in his heart which prevented him from using it fully. Buster says he'll show them that he can become stronger than his brother, that is a promise. Hydra welcomes this and says he looks forward to it.

At the Cybertron base, the Headmaster Juniors are thinking about the Godmasters. Hawk walks in, and Shuuta asks him why there are no Cybertron Godmasters. He can't give an answer. The thought of these powerful enemies has faltered Shuuta's heart. Will the next confrontation with the Godmasters bring casualties?

NOTES

Whilst Mega wants to keep her base, it is never seen again in the series.

Cancer's special technique is called "Super Dragon Fist", yet it has him kick the enemy. But then this certainly isn't a new thing to Japanese animes...

Ten-Chi-Jin power and Choukon power are the same thing -either name for the power is used throughout the series.
