Dauros is on the run -he's got to get to a meeting point with the others, and can't be late. He meets the other Destron Pretenders, and the Headmaster Juniors appear soon after. Cancer apologises for them being late as he's usually in bed at this time. Blood understands they're tired, but their superiors have summoned them. And if these superiors want to check on their progress, they are in trouble. Bullhorn thinks that their employment by the Destrons could come to an end, and Cancer can't take the suspense.

Meanwhile, at the International School, Shuuta and Cab are excited about the hang gliding competition which will take place tomorrow. They've all been through the training and can't wait for it. Minerva comes over and asks if they will be doing more training, and Cab says they sure will be -he and Shuuta are going to perfect the techniques they been trying out.

The Destrons have to take a submarine to get to a hidden base, which they enter. A voice calls out saying that they've been expecting them, their Destron comrades, to arrive. A wall opens up, revealing a secret passage which the Destrons walk through. As they move out of it, they appear in a garden.

They start to move forward, but there appears to be nobody else around. But as they pass a couple of suits of armor, the armors start to move and one attacks the Destron Headmaster Juniors, although they move out of the way in time. Blood tells the two knights that they are not intruders, but are Destrons. The knights don't seem to care and start attacking the Destron Pretenders instead.

The two knights destroy their armor, revealing they they are human beings. One of them says that they just witnessed the power of Ten-Chi-Jin (Human, Earth, Human), and goes to attack Blood again. Blood takes out his axe and starts swinging it, but the human evades his moves and kicks him in the head. Blood draws his gun out...

...but a voice calls out telling them both to stop. Lord Giga and Lady Mega have appeared, and the two men kneel in respect to them. Giga says he is pleased with them, and tells the others to follow him. Mega tells the Headmaster Junior boys that they have nothing to fear, and beckons them to come. This just seems to make them even more nervous.

Back in Japan, Shuuta, Cab and Minerva are out training and decide to make another run before the sun sets. In America, Diver is relaxing when Hawk contacts him. He wants to know if anything has happened, but Diver says it is so peaceful it is like he's on vacation. Hawk is worried as it isn't like the Destrons to be quiet for this long. He tells Diver to keep in close contact.

At Giga and Mega's base, Giga explains that they have kept themselves quiet for this long from the other Destrons because they have been studying a special Master technique here. The research into this technique has been completed. Blood asks about the two other beings in the room, and Giga and Mega give them a proper introduction. They are Hydra and Buster -two brothers who are neither Pretenders of Headmaster Juniors. They are far beyond any of them.

Giga says that Hydra, the elder brother, and Buster, the younger brother, are Godmasters. He says that they are beyond humans, or super robot lifeforms. Godmasters are a hyper evolved lifeform. Hydra and Buster suit up, and the Destrons all head to a hangar where there is one jet parked...

...right next to another. The two brothers shout out "God on!" and merge with these planes, which are transtectors. Hydra lands in a certain place...

...as Buster does the same. These planes transform into robots, but rather than becoming the heads, Hydra and Buster form part of the engines.

Giga and Mega ride in a small platform, saying that these two brothers will become a reliable and powerful fighting force for the Destrons. They promise to use all of their power to put the Earth under Destron control. Giga says he has high expectations of them. Hydra criticizes Blood for his methods and plans which have failed so far, although Blood tells him to back off. He has his own way of doing things. Hydra thinks he talks big, but the power they displayed earlier is nothing to what they are about to do.

Hydra and Buster transform to their jet modes, but reveal that they can combine into a single jet mode called "Darkwings". Blood still wants to show them he's still got what it takes, and they all move out together. Giga says that Hydra and Buster's tempers show their inexperience, but this rivalry with Blood could motivate them. Mega thinks that could be the case -even if their skill levels are so far apart.

At Mt Fuji, the hang gliding competition is about to begin. Minerva's heart is racing but Shuuta says that they are going to set a new record here today, as the wind is good. The competition is being broadcast on TV, and at the Cybertron base, Lander and Hawk watch. However Phoenix then interrupts when he reports in. He's just found out that the control tower at London airport has picked up some unidentified jets. Two are at mach 4, the other is at mach 3, and it looks like they're heading towards Washington. Phoenix says he has contact Diver to try and find out anything, and he'll report back into them if there are any more developments.

Meanwhile, Hydra, Buster and Blood are passing over the clouds when they are contacted by some other jets. The leader of this squadron tells them to follow his commands, or they'll be shot down. Hydra tells Blood to watch closely, as the fighter squadron fires a barrage of missiles at him and his brother.

Using the power of Ten-Chi-Jin, Hydra and Buster avoid the missiles and zip around quickly, moving behind the fighter squadron. Using their powers, they destroy all of the enemy fighters in an instant.

Diver reports to Hawk that the US fighter squadron has been wiped out. The three unidentified jets are now heading to Japan. Diver says he is heading there himself, and leaves it to Hawk to tell the others. In Japan, Blood meets with the other Destron Pretenders and Headmaster Juniors, as he tells Hydra and Buster that they will see his true ability now. Cancer then runs in saying he's found a great target for them -something that's been filmed on TV, so it'll get their names out there.

The target is the hang gliding competition. Hydra thinks it is foolish to go after such weak opponents, but Blood reminds him it is the refinement of their techniques that count. They start to attack the competitors, knocking them out of the sky. Cab gets hit and falls from his glider, but he suits up in time and transforms to save himself. The Destron attack is shown on TV.

Hawk and Lander see the Destrons, including two new ones. They contact Diver and Phoenix before moving out. Meanwhile, the Destron Headmaster Juniors transform to their robot modes, as Shuuta jumps down to help Cab fight them.

Minerva is helping the injured what Metalhawk and Lander appear before her. Metalhawk tells her to continue rescue operations, whilst he and Lander go and help the others. But as they head towards them, the Destron Pretenders appear and open fire. The two Cybertrons take them down.

Hydra and Buster then appear. Hydra says he cannot stand to see such weakness, and tells the Destron Pretenders to move aside. They show the surprised Cybertrons their new forms, and transform into robots.

They immediately go on the attack, and prove to be powerful warriors without having to use weapons. Lander gets kicked off a cliff by Buster, whilst Hydra uppercuts Metalhawk. The two Godmasters draw out their guns and say this is the end, but their weapons suddenly get blasted out of their hands.

Phoenix and Diver have arrived, and fire on them from the air. Hydra and Buster transform into their Darkwings mode, and go after them. Metalhawk transforms into his jet mode, and opens fire...

...landing several hits on Hydra and Buster -but they don't seem to have any effect! Even so, the Godmasters decide to retreat, saying they'll fight another day. The Destron Pretenders think they just wasted a good chance to destroy the Cybertrons, but Blood tells them to fall back also.

Later on, the Cybertrons are glad everyone is safe, and Diver announces he'll be at the next hang gliding tournament to compete. Lander can't see that happening, as all he does is sunbathe all day! Diver says he's a seaman, and seamen are strong. Lander still thinks all he does in tan himself. Everyone laughs, apart from Metalhawk. New, powerful enemies have appeared out of nowhere -and could there be more on the way?
