At the Destron base, Devil Z talks to Giga and Mega via telepathy and tells them that an ally will be coming to Earth from space. Meanwhile Hydra and Buster are playing pool, but Hydra is still frustrated that the Cybertrons now have four Godmasters on their side. How did that happen? Buster thinks he shouldn't get so irritated over it.
Giga and Mega enter the room and bring good news: their most aggressive plan yet is about to be put into motion. But before that plan starts, Hydra and Buster are ordered to eliminate the Cybertron Godmasters. Mega refers to their enemies as "unsightly blemishes". Buster wants to know more about the new plan, but Mega says he and his brother will both know when the time is right. But for now they are to destroy the other Godmasters, and Mega says Lightfoot will be their first target. Rather than fight them all at once, they will divide them up and fight them where they cannot get help. Giga leaves the specifics to them. The Godmaster brothers move out.
At the Cybertron base, Shuuta wonders where everyone is -only Phoenix seems to be about, and when asked where the others are, he doesn't give much of an answer. Shuuta wants to know where Hawk is so he can show him his great new Mr. Ginrai doll!
Cab chopped it out of wood by himself, whilst he painted it. Shuuta asks if Phoenix thinks he did a good job with it. Phoenix thinks Ginrai is sure to love it, and then gets back to work fixing a computer. He says the others will be back in a bit. Meanwhile, in some mountains near the Cybertron base...
Hawk, Lander and Diver are waiting for one of their comrades to arrive: Grand Maximus. Grand is a protector of the galaxy, and a war hero of the Cybertrons. But Diver says it is strange for him to come to Earth, so the Destrons must be planning something big. Grand arrives in a large ship, and as he walks out of it, his ship activates a cloaking device. He says he's sorry to bring them bad news in their first meeting for quite some time, but he has found out that the space based Destrons have been contacting the ones on Earth.
He doesn't know the specifics, but the Destrons intend to send something with incredible fighting capabilities to Earth. As they head inside his ship, he says they have come up with a countermeasure for this: they plan to give Super Ginrai a power up. He says he will send a supply ship with the required special materials to Earth. In the meantime, he passes Hawk a disk with the relevant data and information about the upgrade on it.
Meanwhile, Hydra and Buster heard towards British Motors in Canada. Buster asks his brother what he thinks Mega's plan could be, but he also says they'll find out soon enough. He then says he has his own plan regarding Lightfoot and says that blood runs thicker than water. Buster doesn't understand what he is going on about. Back in the Cybertron base, Grand has left to return to space, so the others take a look at the power up data he left them.
The power up is called "Godbomber" and will allow Super Ginrai to enter space by combining with him. Ginrai isn't impressed, as he doesn't think he needs it and guesses that this Grand guy doesn't trust his ability. Lander yells that the reason he was chosen was because of his great ability!
Hawk says something terrible is heading to Earth, and they're counting on Ginrai to stop it. Ginrai gets moody and thinks about all this responsibility he now has. Hawk says that will call this project the "Bomber Project" and will be kept a secret to only those present. They need to complete Godbomber quickly, but decide to keep it a secret from the Headmaster Juniors until the time is right for them to know. But this reminds Phoenix that he has a present for him: the Mr. Ginrai doll!
"Mr. Ginrai doll, Mr. Ginrai doll, it's so cute!"
At British Motors, Road King is taking part in a commercial for the company. As he finishes his lap, he rejoins with Lightfoot and Ranger and asks how much he gets paid. Lightfoot says of course he'll get paid, but Road King says he's just joking. But they all wonder where their big-time manager is -Lightfoot's father. Apparently he had some urgent business in the office and Ranger wonders if he'll be able to come out to them. The commercial director is ready to start shooting and says he wants to do a camera test.
Inside the British Motors main office, Leftfoot is at his desk. Two guys are shown in as they have an interview with him. One of the reporters wants to do the photos first, but after taking a few pictures, Leftfoot passes out! The reporter says the effect of his camera's hypnosis ray is quit impressive.
One reporter reveals he is Hydra -and he tells his brother not to be overconfident as the real battle has yet to begin. Buster takes off his mask and shows what he thinks of his brother's words. Meanwhile Lightfoot and Ranger are about to go looking for Leftfoot when...
...Leftfoot's assistant drives up and says something terrible has happened. She passes a note to Lightfoot, which reads that the Destrons have captured his father and taken him hostage. And if he wants to save him, he needs to come to them along. Lightfoot says he will do as they say, which Ranger and Road King this is crazy. But Lightfoot heads off despite their warnings. Ranger is about to follow him but Road King says to wait, as they'd better try another way.
Back at the Cybertron base, Hawk and Lander are still going through the plans of Godbomber. But then they find out from Ranger and Road King what the Destrons are doing, and Hawk thinks they're getting desperate -trying to split up the Cybertron Godmasters and attacking them one by one. Ginrai says he'll deal with this whilst they can work on Godbomber. He'll be alright.
Lightfoot enters the main building of British Motors and yells to the Destrons, but gets no response. He finds a battered employee, who tells him that the Destrons are at one of the factories nearby. Lightfoot drives out to it.
He finds his father, but Hydra and Buster are also present along with many Seacons. The Destrons also have many employees trapped in a cage. Lightfoot is about to suit up when Hydra tells him to wait, as Buster can easily kill his father if he tries anything like that.
Hydra gives him a choice: either he can join the Destrons, or he can remove those Master-braces. He knows that he can't physically remove them, so Hydra brings out a knife and says that this will only hurt a little. Lightfoot doesn't know what to do, as he could have his hands cut off and save his father, but he also thinks he's a member of the Cybertrons and knows it is his duty to protect this world. Nearby, Ranger and Road King arrive and see what's happening.
Hydra is tired of Lightfoot's hesitation, and starts to beat him up. Ranger and Road King are about to move in when Ginrai appears behind them, and almost gets punched by Road King due to his sudden appearance. They explain what is going on, so Ginrai tells Ranger to try and move in to where the hostages are whilst they cause a distraction, Ginrai runs across...
...as Hydra sees him. He tells his brother to watch out. Hydra is about to cut Lightfoot's right hand off when Ginrai throws a rock at him and makes him drop his knife.
Lightfoot uses this distraction to punch his helmet, hitting him with such power that it shatters his visor. Buster rushes to his brother's side, but in doing so he leaves the hostages unguarded and gives Ranger the chance to let them escape.
The Godmasters merge with their transtectors and transform. Hydra and Buster team up and fight Lightfoot...
...whilst Road King and Ginrai fight the Seacons. Ranger goes to help Lightfoot, but Lightfoot says he wants to deal with these two.
He starts to take down the Godmaster brothers. Meanwhile, Turtler sees that his only chance in victory is to retreat, so he digs into the ground to escape whilst the remaining Seacons either retreat or are destroyed by Ginrai and Road King. The two of them go to help Lightfoot, as Road King restrains Buster and lets Lightfoot hit him repeatedly.
The battle ends when Lightfoot hits Buster so hard his right arm is ripped off, and he falls to the ground. Hydra helps his brother up and says they've got to get out of here -but they will pay the Cybertrons back for this some day! The two transform, but before they leave they start firing...
...and blow up some buildings. The Cybertrons watch them fly off, and later on, they meet with Leftfoot.
Ginrai says that the damaged buildings will cost a lot of money to repair, but Leftfoot says that compared to the value of human lives, they are nothing. Lightfoot says he is in all of their debt, but Ginrai says his opinion about Lightfoot's courage has changed -although he laughs after saying this. Leftfoot says if there is anything he can do for them he will. Ginrai has an idea.
The camera crew starts to film, as Leftfoot drives Ginrai's transtector -his commercial for British Motors is finally filmed.
Whilst the Destron Godmaster's plan was stopped, what is the mysterious object heading to Earth from space?
