At the International School, some of the boys are swimming but then hit the showers after they finish. Shuuta sees Cab walk off, and wonders where he is going as the locker room is the other way. The reason is because Cab wants to see Minerva in her swimsuit -and he goes over to where the girls are. Shuuta tells tim to stop but he really wants to see Minerva, as beauty is beautiful! It's art!

Cab gets his wish, and thinks she's perfect. But then their coach asks them WHAT ARE THEY DOING, and the girls screech in horror of boys spying of them. Shuuta and Cab are sent away to get changed, but the girls they the two of them are the worst ever.

After school, Minerva says that that was the worst thing they've ever done, but Cab tells Shuuta she's thinking of this the wrong way. An artist's heart is attracted to beauty. He and Shuuta then finally apologize to Minerva, who says she'll forgive them, just this once. The subject changes to the upcoming Summer holidays. The three discuss plans of things they could do, since they want a break from fighting the Destrons. They go back to Hawk, who is watching Ginrai's appearance on Wideshow. Since his TV debut, there have been some responses, but nothing worthwhile.

Hawk mentions Shuuta, Cab and Minerva's summer plans, and gives them permission to do what they want as long as they promise to keep in touch. Minerva thanks him in the most embarrassing way possible, but he explains that the Destrons may be plotting something after seeing Ginrai on TV, and they might need the three of them to help stop their plans.

At the Destron base, Hydra and Buster are planning something. Buster still can't believe that Ginrai has a new super mode, but Hydra says he is just one man and that his power does not rival their own combined form of Darkwings. They need to defeat him and find the other Godmasters, and Hydra says he has a plan. He tells his brother to follow him as the two leave the base.

Ginrai has gone to a TV station where some mail has been sent for him. He comes across a thick envelope, which contains a letter, and a picture of a robot! He immediately starts to read the letter and finds out it was sent from Canada. Later on, Hydra and Buster arrive in the TV station. They meet Sam, the producer, and ask him if they can meet Ginrai. Sam is a bit confused to who they are, but says Ginrai took a letter from a viewer and left.

Hydra grabs him and demands to know who sent the letter, but Buster points out that some security guards are coming their way. Hydra throws Sam into them, before he and Buster head out of the building and into their car.

The two head to a scrapyard where they meet the Destron Pretenders, and find out that the three of them haven't seen Ginrai. Buster says they must split up and cover areas around the TV station. As their Pretender forms stand out, Hydra tells them to cover the mountains. As the Godmaster brothers leave, Blood cannot stand their arrogance and Dauros says he just hates them. Later on, Ginrai is at a gas station, and gets directions to a place called British Motors.

As Ginrai heads off, Blood spots him, and gathers together the other Destron Pretenders. The three run after him, but Blood says they'll find out where he is going and what his intentions are before making any moves. They'll report to Lord Giga and present him with Ginrai's head, then they'll laugh at those impudent brothers. Gilmer thinks it is a good idea and even Dauros says he's with Blood's plan.

Ginrai has arrived at British Motors, and a maid pours him some brandy. As she walks off, he thinks she was beautiful but decides he'd like a little bit more to drink. He doesn't get a chance to drink it though as the young man who wrote the letter enters the room: Lightfoot. Lightfoot says that he has been having a lot of dreams with that robot he drew in them for the past three months.

A friend of Lightfoot's saw Ginrai on TV and told him to write in. He wants to show Ginrai something, and takes him to a room full of pictures of some of the most popular cars of all time -cars which were made by British Motors. He explains that all of this happened because of a single car, and he shows Ginrai a picture of it. It was the first car the company ever built, and the picture has Lightfoot's father next to it. Lightfoot says that many years a go, his father worked in a run-down repair shop in England...

One day, his father decided to move to Canada to build cars. Lightfoot was only two years old at the time. His father explained to his wife that their first car was complete, and the test run will happen tomorrow. Unknown to any of them, a strange, bright light came out of the garage...

Back in the present, Lightfoot says that 15 years have passed since the first car was created, and it's creation led to the success of British Motors. His father has cherished the original prototype car like it was a family treasure. Since they still have it, Ginrai takes a look at the original car. Lightfoot says that after he drove it for the first time, he started having those dreams with the robot. His father gave him the car to celebrate his birthday on March 17th. March 17th also happens to be the day that the car was completed, 15 years a go. Ginrai asks if he could have a drive in it and Lightfoot gladly lets him.

Outside, the Destron Pretenders are getting bored when they see a car heading out of the factory. Ginrai is at the wheel, and starts to push the car as hard as he can. Lightfoot wonders if it is OK to drive so wildly.

Ginrai comes to a stop and reveals something: he says that when he checked the car over, some of the materials it was made from are not from Earth. He asks Lightfoot to forgive him, but he wants him to put these bracelets on. He explains that they are not dangerous, and he is wearing them also.

Lightfoot does as he is asked, but as soon as he puts the Master-braces on, his arms cross themselves! Ginrai gets out of the cart as a bright light shines out of all the windows.

When the light fades, Lightfoot is in a suit of armor. Ginrai tells him to says these words: "Transform, God On!". Lightfoot repeats the words, and he magically launches out of the car's roof!

Lightfoot transforms and units with the car, which transforms into a robot.

LIGHTFOOT

Ginrai looks at the picture, and laughs. Just as he thought, Lightfoot is a Godmaster! Ginrai quickly gives Lightfoot a history lesson on the Cybertrons, and whilst Lightfoot says he thinks he understands most of what he has been told, he just wants to know one thing: how does he change back? Ginrai says all he needs to say is "transform". Just then, the three Destron Pretenders appear, and they want to destroy the new Cybertron Godmaster.

Lightfoot doesn't know much about fighting, so Ginrai tells him to transform back. He does so and picks Ginrai up, as they head back to Ginrai's truck. Gilmer tries to stop them but Lightfoot bounces his car up to hit him in the groin. Ginrai thinks Lightfoot should put some disinfectant on the hood later.

Reaching his transtector, Ginrai merges with it to form his robot mode. He takes down Gilmer and Blood, before merging with his trailer to become Super Ginrai. Lightfoot thinks his new form is incredible.

Super Ginrai tells the Destron Pretenders he'll finish them so he never has to see them again, and trounce Gilmer and Dauros. Blood tells them to summon the Seacons, whilst he'll try and take Lightfoot hostage. Super Ginrai tells Lightfoot to run, but Lightfoot says he'll deal with Blood somehow and transforms. Super Ginrai goes after Dauros and Gilmer, but as he approaches a lake, Turtler appears. Turtler shouts for the Seacons to unite...

...as they form King Poseidon. King Poseidon opens fire, but his shots miss as Super Ginrai shoots back at him. His blast blows one of King Poseidon's arms to pieces...

...and Super Ginrai soon finishes him off. Some of his limbs explode, causing water to rain down everywhere. Turtler survives once again, and disappears into the lake. Dauros and Gilmer see that their back up plan is no more, and run off. Blood also notices that they've lost, and pulls out.

With the Destrons beaten, Ginrai and Lightfoot leave their transtectors. Lightfoot says he wants Ginrai to continue to be his mentor, as he wants to be able to fight the Destrons. Ginrai says sure, but they will start by finding the other Godmasters first. The Cybertrons have found an ally that they have been searching for, but where are the remaining two? And how easy will it be for the Cybertrons to find them?

NOTES

One of the envelopes Ginrai is given has "TOEI ANIME" written on it. Toei animated this series.

When Hydra and Buster meet Sam, there is a shot where you can see a poster which advertises Jem. Presumably this is the same Jem which Toei animated.

The maid is voiced by Rihoko Yoshida, who also voices Mega.

When Lightfoot transforms for the first time, an instrumental version of "Kiseki no Transformer" plays. A different version of the song with vocals will be used later on in the series.
