At the Destron base, Hydra and Buster apologize for allowing a Godmaster to fall into the hands of the enemy. Giga, however, is more concerned on just how this happened. Godmasters are suppose to have originated with a Destron soul. So why did this one bond with a human who sympathizes with the Destrons?
Suddenly, the orb in the shrine starts to speak, saying that there is no need for questioning. Giga and Mega bow to the orb, which is known as Devil Z. Devil Z tells them that the Godmasters are his children, and they cannot allow any more to become infected with the soul of a Cybertron weakling! Giga tells Hydra and Buster that Ginrai must be killed!
Ginrai has returned to America, and shows his new trailer to Lander and Diver. He also mentions how he know there are three other people with the same destiny as him, and he wants to meet them. To find them he intends to make a name for himself. Neither Diver or Lander are sure what he plans to do, but Ginrai rolls out.
Elsewhere, in a small bar, the Destron Headmasters are thinking about how they were so close to glory last time. If they'd defeated Ginrai in Japan, they'd be Destron heroes now. Cancer thinks it is pointless to talk about this now, but this makes Bullhorn's bad mood even worse and he grabs Cancer, asking him what he meant by that. Wilder tells him that he's embarrassing himself, so he puts Cancer down. Cancer instead decides to check out what is on television.
After some channel surfing, he comes across a program called "Wideshow" which is about to start the "Anything goes from the audience" segment. The scene changes to some of the crew on the street, where a presenter called Douglas says that a man known as Mr. X is coming with his interesting vehicle. Mr. X is Ginrai, who surprises the crowd by transforming into a robot.
Ginrai introduces himself and mentions how he can transform. He says that if there is anyone out there who feels that they are being manipulated by fate, or if strange or unusual things have been happening to them recently, get in touch with Wideshow, as he wants to meet them. He then transforms back to truck mode and leaves the scene.
Bullhorn wants to fight, but Wilder stops him. He knows they will lose against Ginrai, and says that they'll just be throwing their reputation away if they fight him. They will just contact Hydra and Buster instead, as it is best if Godmasters fight Godmasters. Elsewhere, Lander gets in touch with Diver and lets him know on what Ginrai has done. He thinks that everything Ginrai does is going to give him a heart attack, but there's nothing they can do now. He ends the call, and Diver thinks Ginrai just doesn't think ahead.
Ginrai is out on the road, and tunes into the radio version of Wideshow. The presenter lists some of the people who have got in touch, but the things Ginrai hears are less then helpful -one guy thinks he's an alien and wants to reunite with the alien robot. Ginrai thinks appearing on TV may have been a waste of time. Not far away, Hydra and Buster are flying around when Gilmer contacts them. He says he knows where Ginrai is, and gives them his location. Hydra says that if they need his help, they'll contact him again, but he is to take no further action.
The two soon see Ginrai, but Hydra says they'll wait until he's in a city to attack him. When that happens, they can destroy the city, and make the humans in it hate Ginrai just as much as them. Down on the ground, Gilmer thinks he lives a miserable existence having to work for humans. Meanwhile Ginrai arrives at a truck depot.
He meets a few other truckers, and then opens up the back of his trailer to get the load ready for transport. Sam, the boss of the depot, says they'll help unload the trailer after their break is over. Ginrai also takes a break.
But suddenly things start to explode, and Sam gets hit on the shoulder by some falling debris. Hydra and Buster have appeared, and are firing on everyone!
Ginrai helps move Sam to cover and some of the other truckers wait with with him. Ginrai runs towards his truck, but Hydra and Buster transform and start firing at him. He avoids their shots and transforms to robot mode, saying he'll be their opponent.
The fight continues, but Ginrai takes the brothers down. The truckers see that this Ginrai guy became a robot, and Sam says he knew about his powers. But the truckers also know their workplace has been trashed, and the Destrons are after Ginrai. If only he wasn't here...
Hydra uses Choukon power to stop Ginrai, and then blast him back into a wall. He and his brother then taunt him, telling him to bring it on.
But some of the truckers then appear and start throwing things at Ginrai, saying he isn't welcome here and is trashing their workplace. Hydra is pleased that Ginrai's friends are turning on him, just as they had planned. The rest of the city's population shall soon do the same.
Ginrai refuses to give up, and gets back on his feet. He charges his fists with Jinchoukon power, and punches Hydra around, causing him and his brother to back off. Instead, they go and round up some humans in the city nearby.
Hydra says they've done this to make them watch the battle. Meanwhile, Lander and Diver have heard about the attack in the city, and are on their way. Ginrai catches up with Hydra and Buster, and tells them he will kick them out of here.
Using his guns as clubs, Hydra tries to attack Ginrai, but gets kicked back and crashes into a building. Buster tells the crowd that if they want to hate someone, they should hate that human Cybertron, as he was the one who challenged them to a duel. He said he wanted to fight them here, in this city. The crowd are angry with Ginrai.
At the truck depot, one of the truckers says Ginrai shouldn't be allowed to come here any more, as he caused all this damage. Sam says he shouldn't believe that, as Ginrai is the one protecting them. Meanwhile, Ginrai is being beaten up by the Godmaster brothers, who reveal their plot and say it was a success. Hydra then summons a couple of Lobclaws to finish him off.
Lander and Diver then appear, taking Hydra and Buster by surprise and knocking them back. Diver checks Ginrai is alright, but he tells them to protect everyone from the Seacons. As Ginrai runs off, Diver and Lander team up...
...and destroy the Lobclaws. Outside the city, Ginrai finds Hydra and Buster, who fire on him. After thinking about what his friends were saying earlier, Ginrai becomes full of rage, and unleashes a powerful blast of Choukon power.
This sends the Godmaster brothers flying, and they crash into the ground. They get up, and whilst Hydra says he sears they'll finish him one day, they retreat. The next morning, in the hospital...
Sam tells Ginrai that God himself must have been the one to give him the power he now has. God is telling him to protect everyone. Ginrai's friends also apologise for misjudging him earlier.
Ginrai meets up with Diver, and says he was a fool to fall for the Destron's ploy. Diver says that Lander is explaining to the population of the city the real story of the Cybertrons and Destrons. But if Ginrai is that self-concious, then he is qualified to become a leader. Ginrai doesn't think he could be one of those yet.
At the Destron base, Hydra can't believe Hydra and Buster have failed. Mega tells Turtler that the time for him to use his power has come. Turtler is the leader of the Seacons, and is unique as there is only one of them -and he can talk. He summons one other unit of each other type of Seacon -Tentakil, Lobclaw, Gulf, Kraken and Overbite. These transform into new configurations, as they unite with turtler to become:
