Villains! Say Your
Prayers Before You Die!!

Kenshiro's group have setup a small fire. Bat returns with some sticks, and tells Lin that these should last them the rest of the night. He just wishes he could have found a wild rabbit to go along with them. He then sees some dust clouds a short distance away. The dust is been caused by some bikers, who are chasing after two people.

Lin says this looks bad, and Bat knows that if they don't help them, those thugs are going to kill the two people. The bikers surround the two people, but then Kenshiro appears. The bikers ask who the hell he is.

When Kenshiro doesn't respond, one of them throws a knife at him, but he stops it with two fingers. He tells them if they don't want to die quickly, they should put things like knives away. One biker wants to attack, but another warns that he's seen this guy somewhere before. The bikers realizes that this guy is the master of the North Star divine fist, Kenshiro! They decide to retreat.

Kenshiro takes the two people back to his camp. As Lin sees to the woman, Mika, she thanks them for their help. Bat says they don't know why those guys were chasing them, but they don't just save people for free! Rice, bread, dried meat, water -anything like that is okay as a reward. However the man, Sam, explains that they have nothing.

Bat then sees some lights in the distance, and realizes more people are coming. However it's some villagers, who are searching for Mika and Sam. Mika's father slaps his daughter, asking how how she could have done this. Another villager is about to attack Sam, but Kenshiro stops him.

The man says he's Sam's older brother, and tells Kenshiro this is no concern of outsiders -he should mind his own business! Mika's father explains he came here to take his daughter back, but Mika says she would rather die than go back to the village. She asks him to just kill here here, and get it over with. Another villager asks her if she doesn't care what happens to her father. Without her, her father can't live in the village. Mika's father tells her to come back, and they'll ask Madame Patra again.

As Mika gets dragged back to the village, she screams for Sam to help her. As Kenshiro watches this, he remembers the same thing happened to him, after Shin took Yuria away from him. The next morning, Kenshiro, Bat and Lin drive through a desert. Bat complains he didn't get any sleep last night, but Lin then tells him to look out in front of them!

A kid called Jiro runs over, causing Bat to swerve to a stop. Bat calls Jiro an idiot, couldn't he see them?! Jiro just asks him if he's strong. Bat wonders how should he answer such a straight question like that? He likes to think himself as a strong guy, but...

Jiro ignores him and asks Kenshiro if he's strong. Bat asks him what his deal is, but Jiro asks if Ken is really strong. Bat says he's a little stronger than he is. Jiro takes out a bag of seed rice, and tells Kenshiro to take it, and save his sister. He's not strong enough to do it himself. Ken asks if his sister is that girl who ran from the village, and Jiro explains that Patra's men are going to take her away from him.

At Jiro's village, Mika steps outside, with her hands tied together. Ken's group race towards the village, and Bat asks Ken if he's serious about this -he doesn't want to get caught up in any trouble, at least not without getting some kind of reward for it. Back in the village, Mika and Sam are taken by some of Patra's men, and then leave the village.

Kenshiro's group arrive, and Jiro asks where his sister is. He realizes that she has been taken, and curses Patra's name. His father tells him he will have to accept it, and Mika is going to be held by Patra for just a little while -she'll be back soon. Jiro says that's a lie -she's never coming back!

He runs off to Kenshiro and begs him to save his sister. The village chief then asks Kenshiro to save her as well. He tells the villagers it's wrong to allow this to go on -if they just let Madame Patra keep doing what she wants, their village will be destroyed. He tells Kenshiro the men who took Mika and the others work for Madame Patra. He points out a small lake next to a mountain nearby, and says Patra controls that lake. In order for them to get water, they have to pay her tribute. If they don't meet her ridiculous demands, not only does she take their animals, but their young men and women as well. Bat thinks that's cruel, and has a plan: they'll wipe out Patra and her men, in exchange for a bag of rice and 10 days worth of bread and cheese.

At Southern Cross, Yuria is playing her harp, but stops when Shin enters the room. He tells her to continue, and she asks if he means the lamentation of her heart. Before Shin can go on, Joker teleports in. He tells Shin that Kenshiro has entered Patra's village. Preparations have already been made to kill him.

Shin says the Dragon gang won't miss a thing. Joker tells him to expect good news, and then vanishes. Yuria thinks that Ken must still be alive somewhere, and knows that he'll come and rescue her... someday soon.

Later on, at Patra's castle, some trucks arrive. They come to a stop, and as the guards check the paperwork, Jiro sneaks into the back of one of the trucks.

Inside the castle, Patra is meditating. She stops when some of her men bring the village chief into the room, as requested. She tells the chief it has been a while, and asks him how the village is. He asks what she means, but she asks him if he thought he could hide anything from her. She says he doesn't have to tell her, if he doesn't want to.

Two wolves make their way towards him, and he drops to his knees in fear. She tells him that he will show her where Kenshiro is, and he says he will. She then tells the two men with the chief to do it.

Meanwhile, Jiro makes his way inside the castle. He finds where his sister is, along with some other prisoners. Mika asks him what he's doing here, as he'll be in big trouble if he gets found. He tells her it's fine, and he'll get her out of here, but then a guard enters the room.

Back in the village, one of Patra's guys pours gasoline all around the building Kenshiro is in, whilst the other holds the village chief back. They then set fire to the building, and believe this is the end of Kenshiro. However the village chief breaks free and starts running towards the fire, and yells for Kenshiro.

He gets shot in the back with an arrow, and falls down dead. Kenshiro realizes what's happening, and after grabbing Bat and Lin, smashes out of the roof the the building.

They almost all land safely, and Ken stops an arrow fired at him with just two fingers. He sends it back at the guy who fired it, and it strikes him in the head.

The other guy tries to run Kenshiro over on his bike, but Ken kicks him in the back. This causes him to drive into the building, where he and his bike explode. However, two more men then appear.

The two bat men drop down, and after swiping at Kenshiro a couple of times, they start laughing. Kenshiro thinks they're using techniques of the Bat Fist, one of the styles of the South Star holy fist. They must be Shin's men, and he runs towards them, but the suddenly teleport up onto some scaffolding.

One of them drops down, but Kenshiro punches him in the face, striking one of his pressure points. The bat man falls to the ground, and explodes seconds later.

Kenshiro tells the other one he'll end up like his friend, so he should stop. The bat man doesn't listen to him, and instead goes on the attack. Kenshiro jumps up onto the scaffolding, and the bat man follows him. The two jump towards each other...

HICHOU KYUZAN PA

(Flying Bird Air Slash Wave)

As the bat man lands, his head rips apart, followed by the rest of his body. Later on, the fire is put out, and the villagers mourn the loss of their chief. Bat can't believe Patra was this cruel, they were this close to being barbecued! One villager then says that Jiro is missing. Another villager says he saw him running towards Patra's castle a while ago. Later on, at the castle...

...Kenshiro arrives. He kicks a door down and finds Patra, who tells him she's been waiting for him. Kenshiro immediately notices the Bloody Cross crest, and tells Patra to take him to Shin. She tells him to not be in such a rush, and holds up a crystal ball. She says she'll read his future for him.

She tells him his life will soon be over, and then seemingly creates duplicates of herself, along with parts of the room. Kenshiro knows it's an illusion, and decides not to look directly at her. But suddenly some men throw out chains, which wrap around his limbs.

Patra says she has him now, and reveals that Lord King ordered her to kill him on sight. She says each of these men have the strength to crush a bull's head, and asks how it feels to be torn apart. Ken is unfazed, and asks where the villagers are. Patra asks if he thinks he can do anything, but says that Mika and the others are in the market. As for Jiro... he should see for himself.

Nearby, a wall opens up, revealing two cages: one has Jiro in it, the other has a wolf in it. The wolf's cage starts to open, leaving Jiro at the animal's mercy. But Kenshiro then rips his jacket and shirt off.

Patra stops laughing and tells her men to hurry and rip Kenshiro apart. However, the men find they can't, and Kenshiro is actually managing to pull them towards him. Kenshiro leaps up...

...and a couple of seconds later, all four men have been floored. Ken then breaks open the bars to Jiro's cell, and punches the wolf just before it can attack Jiro.

Patra tells her men to hurry and finish Kenshiro off. However Kenshiro tells them he hit their dankyou chuuketsu pressure point. It will make their spinal cords snap, and their muscles will fall apart -they're already dead. The bodies of all four men rip apart.

Kenshiro asks Patra if she'll take him to King. She admits she underestimated him a bit, and says they'll meet again. She throws her crystal ball at the ground, which causes it to shatter, emitting a bright light.

As things return to normal, Kenshiro sees that Patra is gone. He finds a hidden set of stairs, and runs down them. He sees light at the end of the tunnel, and runs outside, only to find something strange...

The lake has vanished! The lives of the villagers depend on the water! What devious plot has been hatched under the flag of the Bloody Cross? Where did Patra disappear to amidst that uncanny light? And what has become of the kidnapped Mika and Sam?
