The fists of Raoh, the terrifying ruler of the century's end, have assaulted Rei!

Kenshiro: R... Rei!

Rei resigns himself to dedicate his short remaining life to Mamiya, the woman he loves.

Rei: But I can still clearly see the death omen star.

Mamiya: Death omen star?

But Mamiya herself can also see the death omen star!

Rei: It's the small star shining alongside the Big Dipper. It's said those who can see it are destined to die soon.

Mamiya: Yuda!

Yuda: Mamiya.

But then, Rei's nemesis Yuda, the man who branded Mamiya's shoulder, the star of deception from the South Star six holy fists, rode into the village.

Yuda: The star of justice is only a star of clowns... mere space dust in the shadow of the star of deception. Die, like an insect!

The South Star waterfowl fist versus the South Star crimson crane fist. The curtain has lifted on this battle of destined rivals!

Rei: Yuda... I'll never let the star of enchantment shine again!

Yuda: South Star crimson crane fist!

Rei: South Star waterfowl fist!

No Tears Are Shed in a Man's Exit!!

The entire village suddenly starts to rumble. Seconds later, water blasts through some of the walls and buildings. Kenshiro grabs Lin and Bat, and jumps up with them.

As Kenshiro's group get onto dry land, Rei asks Yuda what he's trying to do. Yuda says that this sandy ground will turn to quicksand, and suck people in.

He doubts that Rei will be able to move now. He knows that the South Star waterfowl fists's secret techniques lie in their intricate footwork. Now that Rei's lower body is stuck in place, he's like a waterfowl with no wings -so he'll die an ugly death. Yuda then says that the star of enchantment shines more beautifully in red, whilst the pathetic star of justice is mere space dust. At the dam, Komaku says the village is now flooded -Lord Yuda's plans are always flawless.

Lin shouts to Rei and tells him to beat Yuda, for Mamiya. However, Yuda throws out a projectile attack, which hits Rei:

Tradition-Defying Rending Wave)

Yuda tells Rei that it's finally time for him to be cut into pieces. He starts repeatedly using the wave technique, and Rei can't avoid it.

Rei gets hit by several of the wave, as Yuda laughs. Toki says that the higher the water level, the more Rei is at a disadvantage. Lin then notices that Ken is gone.

At the dam, Komaku tells the two guys with him that they can get a good look at the village from where he is, so they should come up. However, the two men warn him that Kenshiro is standing right behind him! Komaku notices this and tries to get away...

...but Kenshiro picks him up by the neck, and asks him if he was the one who caused the explosion at the dam. He tosses Komaku aside. Komaku lands, and says that this was all part of Lord Yuda's plan. But he's going to send Kenshiro to hell himself. He goes into a stance:

KOSHI BYOGA KEN

(Ore Support Cat Fang Fist)

The two guys thinks that Kenshiro has picked the wrong place to fight, as Lord Komaku is as agile as a cat. In a tall, narrow place like that, he'll only become stronger. Komaku leaps towards Kenshiro, and manages to cut his face.

Komaku says that this time, he'll rip Kenshiro's heart out. He asks why Kenshiro hasn't even taken a stance, and starts to move towards him. But as he does, he realizes something's wrong. He starts to stumble, and his vision blurs.

Kenshiro tells him he struck a pressure point on him already, so now he won't be able to keep his balance. Komaku ends up stepping off the dam and falls, but before he can hit the ground, he explodes.

Kenshiro leaps down to where the two guys are , but he ignores them. They're about to attack him, but they stop in their tracks when he punches through a cliff.

Kenshiro starts to tear a massive chunk out of the cliff. The two guys watch in amazement, until one of them realizes that they should actually try and attack now, instead of just staring. They run towards him...

...but Kenshiro rips the chunk of cliff out, and smashes them both out of the way with it. He then throws it over the broken part of the dam, stopping the water from coming through.

He then looks back at the village, and thinks that Rei can fight freely now. Back in the village, Yuda continues to use his wave technique, and Rei keeps getting sliced up by it.

Yuda asks Rei who he thinks is the strongest and most beautiful in this world. Since he doesn't answer, Yuda says that it's himself. He, Lord Yuda, is the strongest and most beautiful. He starts attacking Rei again. Lin shouts for Rei to not lose.

Yuda calls Rei a pathetic clown, who couldn't even save one woman's life. He can end his life with just one more step. Toki sees the wounds Rei has all over his body, but then also notices that the water has stopped flowing. Yuda says that the star of deception shines in the southern sky... this is the end!

Rei suddenly hits the ground, and us able to send himself flying upwards. Yuda stops his attack, and watches in awe.

Rei descends down, striking Yuda, who still hasn't moved:

HISHOU HAKUREI

(South Star Waterfowl Fist Secret Technique:
Soaring White Grace)

Rei tells Yuda that he can't defeat him. Kenshiro returns, and says that the battle is over. Yuda says that, once again, Rei's techniques have stolen his soul. But he won't die like this.

He pulls back Rei's hands, but tells Rei that he is the man who's stronger and more beautiful than himself. He then plunges Rei's hands into his own chest.

As Yuda falls, he tells Rei that he was always in his soul. He had always been chasing after that vision of him, and the beautiful dance of the South Star waterfowl fist. But in the end, he was unable to surpass him. He couldn't turn away from that vision, and when he feels something is beautiful with all his heart, he is powerless before it -that is his weakness.

Ever since his heart was drawn to Rei, the star of deception has been destined to be extinguished by the star of justice. He then tells Rei that he is the only man he's ever respected... the strongest and most beautiful man in the world. He asks that, at the least, if he could die in his arms. Yuda then falls forward, and is granted his final request.

Rei can only say Yuda's name, and holds onto his body. Yuda's men realize that their Lord is dead, so they release Mamiya. They realize that they've been following the wrong guy, and that the star of deception was just garbage. They decide to run for it, and they all leave the village.

Rei places Yuda's body down, and tells him that he was also a lonely warrior... but he'll be joining him soon. He bids Yuda farewell. Lin asks why Rei and Yuda had to spill each other's blood.

Rei then sees Mamiya. He approaches her, but then part of his head explodes. Mamiya catches him before he falls.

Rei tells her that it looks like his time is finally up. He says that she should live her life to the fullest until the death omen star falls. Even if it's just for a moment, she should live as a woman, and pursue a woman's happiness. He then lets go of her, and says farewell. She starts to run after him, but he tells her to stay back. She's the last person that he'd have witness him crumble away and die so pathetically. One of his shoulders then explodes.

His shoulder pad bursts off, and lands on the ground. Rei tells Mamiya that he hopes she will be happy, and walks off. Mamiya screams out Rei's name.

Later on, Rei thanks Toki for everything. He then tells Ken that he must keep on living -he mustn't die. In this miserable era, the North Star divine fist is needed to change the tears into smiles. He then sees his sister in tears.

He asks Airi to forgive her older brother for going ahead of her. He then says there's no more time, and tells Lin and Bat to live well.

Kenshiro says farewell to Rei. Rei turns around, and walks into a house. He takes one last look at his friends.

Bat has to hold Lin back, as she doesn't want him to die. Rei smiles, and then closes the door.

Mamiya finds Rei's shoulder pad, and holds onto it. As the rest of the group look into the house, Mamiya cries.
