A funeral is being held for Fudo. Rihaku thinks about all of the members of the five chariots, and how they all sacrificed their own lives in fighting Raoh. Rihaku says that he can hear their cries. But he, as the last surviving member of the five chariots, vows to protect Yuria. But he knows that the only way he can do that is by pinning all his hopes on Kenshiro defeating Raoh. As Kenshiro also stares up at the stars, he says that the deaths of the chariots will not be in vain, and soon he will be with Yuria once more.
In the manga...
-Rather then cremate Fudo, the manga has a burial for him instead. Other than that, this episode is filler.
Notes
-Tou and Rihaku's encounters with Raoh are skipped, even though this episode is meant to be about all of the Nanto Goshasei.
