-One of the screenshots on the back cover is from a prototype version of the game:

The 1P and 2P text above the life bars is missing. Michael Max's name is missing, instead there is what appears to be some kind of debug info instead. This same screenshot is also featured on the cartridge version's insert.

-The spine card also features a couple of oddities:

The text above the life bars is missing, plus Terry's power wave is colored blue instead of yellow. Again, this same screenshot was also used on the cartridge version's insert.

-The pictures of the level 1 special moves for each character are different to what was seen in the cartridge version's manual.

-Somehow SNK forgot to correct an error with Terry's rising tackle -the input is listed as up, down, A when it should be down, up, A. This error was in the cartridge version's manual as well.
