These shots were all cut. They were meant to be shown after Magnus says "to the shuttles!"

The storyboard does not have Galvatron using a control stick for this shot. He's using one in the movie.

The shot of the Sweeps firing was cut.

This storyboard wanted Hot Rod to run in from the right during this shot. In the movie, he doesn't appear at all during this shot.

This shot was cut. It was meant to be seen before Arcee says "stay close to me Daniel!"

On the storyboards, the laser blast was meant to knock Hot Rod into the wall. But in the movie, the animation shows Arcee saves Hot Rod by tackling him out of the way.

In the movie, this shot was changed so Daniel is seen in it.

This shot was cut. It was meant to be seen just before Blurr tries to get the Dinobots into a shuttle.

In the movie, the Dinobots breathe fire and cause a Sweep to explode. These storyboards show that a second Sweep was meant to also explode, but these shots were cut.

The storyboards wanted Blurr to get close to the camera whilst saying his "get them into the shuttle" line. In the movie, he stays next to Grimlock.

This shot of Ultra Magnus, along with his "come with me" line, were cut.

The storyboards wanted Hot Rod to lasso Sludge, but in the movie, Hot Rod goes for Grimlock instead. Sludge's surprised reaction shots were cut.

The above sequence was cut. It was meant to happen after the shot of Hot Rod dragging Grimlock onto a shuttle.

This shot was cut.

This storyboard wanted Kup to be present for this shot. In the movie, he's not there.

Hot Rod was meant to have a line for the first shot, but in the movie, he says nothing. The shot of his hand pressing switches was cut.

These shots were cut. They were supposed to be seen after the shot of the shuttle's engines starting up.

This shot was cut. It was meant to be shown after Hot Rod's shuttle launches.

These storyboards show that the intention was to have a new, closer shot of Perceptor and Ultra Magnus firing at the Decepticons, before magnus turns and runs. In the movie, the shot does not change, and the actions of Perceptor and Magnus are done in the same shot as Springer and Daniel entering the shuttle.

These shots of Blurr were cut. They were meant to be shown after Magnus and Perceptor enter the shuttle.

The shot of Cyclonus and the Sweep firing was cut.

This sequence was cut. It was meant to be shown after Springer's "this is the fun part!" line.

This storyboard wanted Cyclonus and a couple of Sweeps to chase after Magnus' shuttle. But in the movie, they aren't seen during this shot.

This sequence was cut. It was meant to be shown after Magnus' shuttle takes off.
