Marissa and the Technobots are in danger when they encounter Dirk Manus.

Synopsis

The Lazy Sue -owned by smuggler Dirk Manus -is attacked by Hun-Grr as it heads to Earth. The Technobots and Marissa arrive and make Hun-Grr retreat, and then they meet Dirk. He explains that he was being chased because he discovered a Quintesson base he found one one of Saturn's terraformed moons. Dirk wants money in exchange for revealing exactly where the base is. The Technobots form Computron, who calculates Dirk is telling the truth about there being a base, and says their course of action should be to repair his ship and then head to the base tomorrow morning. Marissa keep a close eye on Dirk, and discovers that he's working with the Quintessons -she overhears him making a deal for him to deliver something called a recreator. She confronts him, but he knocks her out.

The next morning, Dirk and three of the Technobots head to the base. They are attacked by the Terrorcons, and the Technobots are shot down. Back on Earth, Marissa, Nosecone and Afterburner head to the base. At the base, Dirk gives the Quintessons the recreator, which has the power to disassemble things on a molecular level, and then also reassemble them. It can also fully heal anything it is used on, which the Quintessons discover when they test it on Blot.

Dirk is paid and leaves, but he discovers the money he was given is fake. He had set an explosive on the recreator, but before he can activate it, a bomb the Quintessons had planted on his ship goes off, resulting in the ship crashing back down on the moon. Scattershot, Lightspeed and Strafe find Manus, angry with him for his betrayal, but they are then all attacked by a group of Sharkticons. Marissa, Nosecone and Afterburner than arrive, who help them defeat the Sharkticons. Marissa intends to leave Dirk here whilst the Technobots go back to Earth for repairs, but Dirk tells them about what the recreator can do. However he then betrays them again by taking Marissa hostage.

The group go to the base, where the recreator is used on the Technobots. However Dirk knows what he's doing, and gets the recreator to restore the group at full power. They form Computron as the Terrorcons form Abominus. Computron calculates the precise part of Abominus to shoot to make him fall apart and fires. Abominus breaks down into the individual Terrorcons, who withdraw. The Quintessons also retreat, so everyone else returns to Earth. Dirk's ship is repaired, and whilst Marissa says she wishes she could give Dirk the credits the Quintessons left on Titan, the EDC has a rule against paying rewards. Lightspeed then rolls up and says that the credits put into the EDC vault are gone! Dirk kisses Marissa before pushing her down, then gets into his ship and leaves.

Lightspeed asks if they should go after him, but Marissa says no. She's got a feeling he'll be back. As Dirk leaves Earth's atmosphere, he checks the credits... and finds out that they're made of mimic dust! He says Faireborn has conned him and starts laughing. Back on Earth, Marissa is also laughing.

Notes

-The Secret Files segment for this episode is about cassette Transformers.

-The Terrorcons, for reasons not explained, are working for the Quintessons for this episode only. They were with the Decepticons in the previous episode, and will be with them for their future appearances.

-At the very end, Marissa confirms the moon they were on was Titan. It's stated the moon has been terraformed... what happened to the aliens who shown living on it in The God Gambit is unclear.

Errors

-Computron has red eyes when he's first seen, they should be blue.
-Part of Computron's left arm is missing during this shot.
-Marissa's hair is colored blonde instead of brown when she's first seen at the party.
-Dirk turns his communicator off, but is then seen still in conversation with the Quintesson.
-Lightspeed has a completely red face when Abominus shoots him.
