While Ken and Chun Li are drawn by a mysterious invitation to the Castle de Maria Isabella, Ryu concentrates on perfecting his control of the hadou ken. Bison, the powerful leader of Shadowlaw, watches carefully as Ken is lured into a death match with Vega, who has drugged Chun Li with a sinister love potion. Ken's battle to free her quickly turns into a struggle for his own life.

Vega slashes one of Ken's arms. Ken blocks his next strike, but Vega leaps over him and then slashes his back.

Ken tries to punch him, but Vega leaps up. He then dives down, but Ken manages to block his strike.

Vega says how pleasing it is to fight an opponent who does not die easily. He'll savior this kill! Ken tells him all this is is a stage to kill on, just like the bullfighting arena. Vega says that no one who has entered this cage has ever escaped his claws. Ken says there's a first time for everything, and rips his shirt off. Vega says this will be the finest performance he's ever given, and leaps up.

After leaping around the cage a few times, he drops down and nearly slashes through Ken's head. He then does several more swipes, which Ken desperately avoids.

Ken drops down and sweeps Vega, and then hits him with a mighty blow to the chest. But even this isn't enough, as Vega resumes fighting. He goes to stab Ken in the head.

At the beach, Ryu continues to practice the hadou ken. But he then suddenly stops, and says Ken's name.

Ken manages to avoid being stabbed in the head, but his shoulder gets slashed. Ken is surprised, as he landed an overhand strike practically inside of Vega! He wonders how his opponent could just shrug that off.

Ryu thinks he could actually see Ken just now. He resumes his training. Back at the battle, most of the audience are laughing. Ken thinks he has no protection against Vega's claws, and decides to try and find some way of taking them away from him.

Vega lunges, but Ken drops down and then throws him. He then grabs his arm and tries to break it, only for Vega to manage to kick him on the back of the head. Ken releases his hold, and as Vega gets up...

...Ken knees him in the face, with enough force to break his mask. But Vega recovers immediately, and stabs Ken in the foot.

Vega jumps back, and says that was his reward for striking his beautiful face! He wants him to suffer in hell for that offense. The audience resumes laughing, and Ken falls. Chun Li sits motionless, watching the fight.

Vega tells her she has captured his heart, and his gift to her will be the death of this fine warrior. He tells Ken that his gift to him will be a prolonged and horrifying finish. Ken manages to get up, and Vega tells him he has such remarkably handsome eyes -he'll cut them out and save them, so he can appreciate Chun Li's beauty, even in death! He leaps up and tries to dive into Ken, only for Ken to roll out of the way.

Vega almost manages to stab him, but Ken moves out of the way again. Ken manages to punch Vega in the chest, making him roll away. Vega gets up, and sees that Ken is struggling to stand. He tells him his worthless attempts to fight him are amusing, but they'll soon come to an end!

Ken notices Chun Li, and tells her that he'll save her. He tells Vega he swears he'll live to see Chun Li free of his drugs. He stands back up, and then screams out.

At the beach, Ryu starts to create a hadou ken. At the Interpol conference, the meeting about Shadowlaw ends. Barrac asks Dorai to be the one who will lead the investigation. Dorai says he'll do everything in his power to help Interpol bring down Shadowlaw. One of the other detectives overhears this as he leaves. He gets into his car, and drives off.

Balrog makes a phone call. Back at the fight, Zoltar goes to report to Bison. But Bison is watching the fight, and gets irritated that Zoltar is trying to talk to him.

Vega rolls forward, and does a slide kick that trips Ken up. As he falls, Vega slashes his ribs. Zoltar continues to try to talk to Bison, but Bison gets more annoyed, and blasts him into a wall. He tells Zoltar that this fight is getting good, and he dares cause a distraction?!

Zoltar says he didn't realize, but thought he would want to know that they just received a call from the agent they have undercover at the Interpol conference. Bison tells Zoltar to talk, and wants to know what Balrog had to report. Zoltar says that Interpol knows about them, and are about to launch a full investigation using some of the best detectives in the world. They know who is in charge of it: detective Dorai, from the Hong Kong vice squad. Bison says Dorai is the one who busted their delightful smuggling operation. He cost them millions, and says the fly begins to annoy the bull.

Zoltar says he has information that'll help them eliminate Dorai. He says that Vega had invited a couple of unsuspecting guests for tonight's festivities, and one of them is Chun Li. Chun Li happens to be Dorai's daughter, and he points her out to Bison. Bison looks at her, and asks why such a beautiful girl would be sitting alone. Zoltar says that her companion is the fellow in the cage battling Vega: Ken Masters.

Ken gets slashed again, this time on one of his legs. Some of his blood hits Chun Li's dress. But Ken counters with a powerful elbow strike, which knocks Vega down.

Zoltar says that the Masters family is the richest in America, even more so that the Rockefellers were in their day. And Ken is their only son. Bison smiles and says for a rich man's boy, Ken isn't bad in a fight. He thinks that this kid has much to offer, and thinks this is a rare opportunity. Zoltar says they could hold Ken for ransom, as his father would pay millions to get him back, enough to cover the money they lost when Dorai busted their smuggling operation. Bison suddenly starts laughing, and his body is surrounded by a mysterious energy.

Bison gets very happy about Ken and Chun Li falling into his hands in a single night. He laughs so much he makes his chair fall backwards, but he uses his powers to get himself up again. His chair ends up being destroyed by his own energy, so Zoltar brings another one. As Bison sits down, he says there is but one man who worries him. The man he saw on the beach -he wants Zoltar to find out about him.

At the beach, Ryu continues to perform the hadou ken.

Back at the fight, Ken tells Vega he's pretty tough -he must have broken at least 3 or 4 of his ribs. Vega rolls forward and gets Ken into a leg lock, causing him to smash into the ground. Vega uses this opportunity to stab into Ken's other foot.

Ken gets up and tells Vega he won't let some little scratch stop him. Vega laughs and tells him his warrior's heart is strong, and he wears the color of blood so well. He leaps up.

He lands on the chandelier, and says tonight's show was marvelous. He tells Ken he made excellent sport for him, but now he must die. Ken tells him to come down here and try, he'll finish him with one punch! Vega drops down.

Ryu creates a hadou ken, and throws it out. It smashes through an ocean wave.

Ken leaps up, and goes to perform the sho ryu ken technique. Vega continues to fall, ready to deliver a final strike with his claw...

As Ken and Vega's great battle reaches it's finale, Bison sets his sinister plans in motion. And the latest participant in his schemes is the woman called Cammy. As Bison's fist closes around her, Chun Li faces her darkest hour. Will she be up to the challenge? Find out in Street Fighter II V: Shudder!
