The Cybertrons have gathered at Mount McKinley in Alaska. Ginrai says that the Destrons will be getting desperate to win, and asks his forces to carry out their missions calmly. Metalhawk is sent on patrol duty. Meanwhile, Wilder and Bullhorn leave, but Cancer chases after them.



Cancer wants to talk to them, but they don't want to say anything and just want to leave. Where they go is up to them. Cancer tries to convince Wilder to stay and talk about what they will do next, but he tells him to stop and pushes him aside. The other Headmaster Juniors appear, and Shuuta tells Wilder that he should listen to Cancer. But Wilder doesn't want to enjoy the hospitality of the Cybertrons, and he and Bullhorn continue to walk.



They head to their hidden transtectors, as Bullhorn asks where they are going to go. Wilder tells him to shut up and follow him. Cancer and the others return to Grand Maximus, and Cancer is upset that Wilder and Bullhorn have abandoned him. Super Ginrai tells him that they'll someday understand the friendship he fells for them.



The Destrons have set up base in the jungles of the Amazon. Devil Z says that with his power, he shall turn this world into a living hell. All humans on the planet shall be exterminated. Giga thinks that this is a rash course of action, but Devil Z wonders if Giga is giving him a command. Giga says he isn't, but as he has said before, by knowing humans and their weaknesses, the Destrons shall be able to control the Earth. Devil Z thinks he is a fool, as even with such knowledge, God Ginrai is still causing then so much trouble. Giga needs only to obey him.



Giga and Mega wait inside Overlord's base mode. Giga is frustrated, as he can't understand why Devil Z doesn't understand what he says. But he decides it doesn't matter, as he will do things his own way. Meanwhile, Hydra is having a drink as Buster asks him why they cannot defeat God Ginrai.



Hydra says it is because they are human. They are weak because of their weak, human bodies. In order to defeat Ginrai, they must discard their human bodies and become human robots. Their humans forms shall become fused to their transtectors, and they shall be reborn as robot lifeforms. Devil Z can do this with his power, and they shall be reborn into beings beyond humans. Buster agrees to this plan, and the two of them ask Devil Z about it. He commends their spirit and says he will change them into new lifeforms.



A bright light shines out of Devil Z, and the brothers are sent to an interdimensional space controlled by Devil Z. As Devil Z appears before them, he says that once they are powered up, they can never go back to being human. But they shall no longer be imperfect beings, and will instead become new robot lifeforms. Using his "Devil Power", Devil Z starts the process.



Hydra and Buster are hit by this power, as their human bodies become separated from their transtectors.



This human element is wiped out, leaving only robotic lifeforms. The process is completed, and Hydra and Buster are placed back into the real world. They go and report to Giga and Mega, saying that they have been reborn as robot lifeforms. Giga and Mega are shocked at this, and Giga calls them fools who do not understand anything. They say they understand -they understand that they have surpassed humans, and that they have even surpassed Godmasters.



The two reveal that they are no longer human, as Devil Z says that the time for the Destrons to attack has come. He tells Hydra and Buster that they shall make good use of their new powers.



The clouds above an American city suddenly darken, and the city is then blown apart! It is the work of Devil Z, and this is the first of many attacks the Destrons make.



Metalhawk passes over a city and reports the destruction to Ginrai. Ginrai gathers together the Cybertrons and says that now Devil Z has merged with BlackZarak, the next battle will be the toughest one yet. Grand Maximus has worked out that Devil Z must be coordinating his attacks from the Grand Canyon, so the Cybertrons move out.



Devil Z continues his attacks, turning more cities into rubble. The Headmaster Juniors are sent out to perform rescue operations.



Super Ginrai gets the other Godmasters to help, whilst he, Godbomber and the Headmaster Juniors head to the Grand Canyon. As he arrives, Devil Z spots him and blasts him out of the sky.



He lands some distance away from BlackZarak, and tells the Headmaster Juniors to stay with Godbomber. As he moves in, he is attacked, but he sees that it is Hydra and Buster. The brothers transform and land, and start to shoot at Super Ginrai. He shoots their guns out of their hands.



But they have new abilities, as the two use Devil Power against him. Hydra says that he and Buster are now immortal. Buster reveals to Super Ginrai that they are no longer human, as they have discarded their human bodies and are now true robots. They're no longer restrained by their fleeting, mortal lives! Super Ginrai can't believe what they've done, and thinks that they've just become pawns of BlackZarak.



They think he should shut up and kick him down. Meanwhile, Godbomber and the Headmaster Juniors have been attacked by some Sparkdash and Seacons, and they try to fight them off. Godbomber's eyes starts to glow, as he realises that Ginrai is in danger. Shuuta tells Godbomber that they'll be alright, and he should go and help the Commander.



Godbomber leaves, but the Headmaster Juniors are in danger themselves and are surrounded. The Destrons move in, but some of them suddenly get blown apart.



Wilder and Bullhorn have appeared, and Wilder says he couldn't bear to watch, as they were so pathetic! Bullhorn says Cancer can't do anything without them, as they help the others shoot down the remaining Destrons. Cancer is glad that his friends have come back.



Meanwhile Super Ginrai is still struggling against Hydra and Buster, and falls off a cliff. Hydra and Buster think they've won as there is no way he could survive that fall, but Godbomber saves him. He transforms into God Ginrai, as Hydra and Buster unite into Darkwings. They start shooting at God Ginrai, who asks if they think they can beat him after abandoning their humanity.



Hydra insists that they will defeat him. As God Ginrai is under a barrage of laser fire, he says that what he is charging up in his hands is a power neither Hydra or Buster shall ever be able to use again: Jinchoukon power! The two get blasted, but can still go on.



They say that this is the end, as they use their new Hellfire attack. God Ginrai counters this by using his God Fire Guts technique. He charges towards them, as they fly towards him. They clash in the air...



...causing a huge explosion. Darkwings has survived, and Hydra says that this battle has ended in a draw. They leave the area, as God Ginrai also leaves the explosion.



Devil Z knows that God Ginrai has lost some of his power, and tells Overlord that the time to finish him off is now. Meanwhile the other Cybertrons check if their leader is OK. He says that he is, but they need to defeat BlackZarak now. Shuuta knows that his power is down, but he tells them that he can't think about himself, as he needs to save the world. He tells them to go and help Lightfoot and the others.



He then heads towards BlackZarak by himself, but before he can get to him, Overlord appears. Overlord says today is the day that they shall finish this, and God Ginrai couldn't agree with him more.
