Devil Z's plan to wipe out all human life on Earth via a weapon in space has failed. However, he now sends out the Destrons to various places on the Earth, letting them rampage through cities. The Cybertrons head out to stop them, as Lightfoot battles with Overlord, Ranger takes on Hydra and Buster and the Cybertron and Destron Pretenders fight each other. Meanwhile, Ginrai and the Cybertron Headmaster Juniors keep heading out to various attacked cities to do their rescue operations.

BlackZarak has arrived on Earth, and is awaiting orders. At the Destron base, Wilder, Bullhorn and Cancer have been left behind. Bullhorn thinks this situation is bad, as Devil Z made a speech promoting violence and death, whilst telling the Destrons to wipe out all human life. Bullhorn thinks Devil Z sees humans as insects, and that humans like them are being killed right now.

Wilder says he doesn't care. They sold their souls to become Headmaster Juniors, so even if his hometown got burnt down to ash, he wouldn't care. Bullhorn asks Cancer for his opinion, but he doesn't answer. Wilder thinks Cancer thinks the same way as him, and then casually mentions that BlackZarak has been sent to attack China. Cancer's country is about to be turned to ash!

Cancer snaps out of his depression and thinks about what could happen if BlackZarak reaches China. He gets inside a helicopter and heads back to his place of birth.

Cancer reaches China and starts telling people to run away, as the Destrons are coming. He says they should leave and head to the mountains whilst there is still time, but nobody wants to listen to him. He comes across a martial arts school, but they just run away in fear of him. One of the students falls over and Cancer knows who he is. His name is Chang, and he is one of Cancer's friends. Cancer leaves his transtector with Browning.

Chang stops cowering and welcomes his friend. Cancer explains to him that a giant Destron robot will be attacking China, and they must leave now. As they talk, Road King, who happens to be on patrol in China, sees them and listens in. Meanwhile Cancer says they must warn other people, and thinks they could get their master to help them. Unfortunately, Chang has some bad news: their master died six months a go.

Lightfoot is struggling in his fight against Overlord, so Ginrai tells the Cybertron Headmaster Juniors they are going to go and help him. Transforming into Super Ginrai, he picks up Godbomber and heads out.

In the run-down dojo, Chang explains that after Cancer left, their master fell ill. He became full of sorrow, and one by one, all of his students left him. Cancer says that he never turned on his master...

...and remembers some of the good times he had with him. Because his parents were dead, everyone treated him like a dirty rat, but their master raised him like he was his own son. Thanks to him he perfected his Chou Ryu Ken technique, and he wanted to make this dojo famous to thank him for everything he did. But then the Destrons came into his life. He didn't lose his focus and now finds Devil Z's methods too cruel. When he heard China was going to be attacked, he returned as fast as he could. He tells Chang to get out of here whilst he still can.

Cancer runs outside and sees Road King next to his transtector. He says he heard everything and understands how he feels, but Cancer doesn't want any pity from a Cybertron and takes a shot at him. Road King jumps back, giving Cancer time to enter his transtector and move out.

Road King reports to Super Ginrai, telling him that BlackZarak will appear in China next. Super Ginrai tells him to contact the mayor and get him to start an evacuation. Inside Godbomber, the Headmaster Juniors wonder why Cancer is warning people to leave. Minerva thinks it is because he wants to save people in his hometown, but Shuuta doubts he has that kind of compassion. Minerva thinks he has as he's no animal. Shuuta and Cab think she is too gullible.

Back in China, Cancer knows that nobody has believed him and he doesn't care any more. His true home is with the Destrons. Just then, BlackZarak moves out of the water. He starts shooting...

...and his lasers completely destroy buildings. Cancer moves up to him, but BlackZarak starts shooting at him! Cancer explains who he is...and after a seconds worth of thought, BlackZarak shoots at him some more, making him run off.

Road King arrives and reports to Super Ginrai that BlackZarak has appeared in China. Super Ginrai decides to head to China himself, and contacts Ranger. He tells Ranger to head out to help Lightfoot, so he stops fighting Hydra and Buster and rolls out. Back in China, Road King has to take on BlackZarak by himself.

Meanwhile Cancer tells Browning that whilst he can't stand to see this, there is nothing they can do about it now, so they'd best just return to base. But they then hear someone calling for help, and they see Chang and another boy stuck in a burning building. Cancer transforms to robot mode and saves them.

He finds out that Chang had been looking for him as he wanted to see him one more time, but Cancer says he'll take them to a safe place. As he runs off, a stray laser blast from BlackZarak strikes him in the back and causes him to fall over. He tells Chang to get out of here now, as he can't move.

The boys run off, but seconds later the building next to Cancer collapses and he gets covered in rubble. Elsewhere, Super Ginrai drops off Godbomber and enters the fight by kicking BlackZarak down. He and Road King then fire on him.

The Cybertron Headmaster Juniors have landed nearby and roll out. They stop when they see Browning, who tells them that Cancer is trapped under that pile of rubble ahead. Shuuta thinks it serves Cancer right, but Minerva tells him not to say such terrible things.

She transforms to robot mode and starts to remove the rubble, as Super Ginrai contacts Shuuta and Cab and tells them to help, as their job is to rescue people, whether they are good or bad. Super Ginrai then becomes God Ginrai, as he and Road King overpower BlackZarak and knock him down. BlackZarak decides to call in some help, as three new types of Destron burst out of the ground.

SPARKDASH

GUZZLE, SIZZLE, JAVIL

The Destron Sparkdash are capable of breathing streams of fire, which they do. Road King and God Ginrai avoid their blasts, and then fire back.

The Sparkdash units blow up easily. Devil Z sees that BlackZarak is in danger, and tells Overlord to go and help him. Overlord receives the message and immediately heads to China.

Hydra and Buster are left to fight Lightfoot and Ranger, which they do by uniting into their Darkwings mode. Back in China, the Cybertrons move in, but are knocked aside by a laser blast.

Overlord has arrived and keeps firing on the two. Meanwhile Cancer is rescued, as Browning tells him that the Cybertron Headmaster Juniors were the ones who saved him. He tells them to not butt in where they aren't wanted, but Shuuta and Cab tell him they only did it because Ginrai ordered them to.

God Ginrai then happens to run towards them, with Overlord and BlackZarak after him. As he stops, Overlord thinks he is trying to protect the Headmaster Juniors. Shuuta tells him that Cancer is also with them, and Overlord hesitates. God Ginrai fires a Godcannon shot to knock back BlackZarak, whilst jumping up and getting behind the distracted Overlord. Using his boosters, he picks him up...

...and drops him into BlackZarak. Both Destrons have taken damage, and Devil Z contacts them, telling them to withdraw. They pull out, as Cancer asks the Cybertrons why they saved him.

God Ginrai says it is because he had tried to save people here earlier. He has strong feelings for his hometown, so he must have a heart -just like them. Cancer thinks about his words, and later leaves China in his helicopter.
