The Destrons have summoned BlackZarak, a powerful warrior, to Earth. BlackZarak will first be stopping at the Moon, and heads towards it, destroying any asteroids in his way.

The Cybertrons have found Ginrai, who has thankfully suffered fairly minor injuries, and a convoy consisting of Ranger, Lightfoot and the three Headmaster Juniors are taking him to a hospital.

Devil Z sees the progress BlackZarak has made, and tells him to wait on the Moon for another Destron to arrive. BlackZarak does not answer him, but continues on.

Road King arrives at the hospital and looks around. He sees a lot of beautiful nurses, and when Lightfoot and Ranger come over to him, he wonders if it is alright to leave Ginrai with this many girls.

Road King finds Ginrai and is surprised -he was told to get here as soon as he could because Ginrai might die, but he looks alive and well from here! He won't be getting any sympathy from him. He thinks he was pretty careless, how did he let the Destrons trick him? Only a child should have fallen for it. Ginrai whines that he has a lot to think about.

But this is no time for them to be standing around, as with Ginrai out of action, the Destrons will surely make an attack soon. They need to finish the Bomber Project and also repair Ginrai's transtector. Ginrai wants to go and help them, saying he can deal with his own injuries, but Lightfoot says no way -he's not to leave this place until the doctors say he can. A nurse says she needs to take Ginrai's temperature now, and whilst Road King asks if Ginrai would like to switch places with himself, Ginrai is fine staying where he is.

At the Destron base, Gilmer and Blood run as fast as they can, as they've got to report to Giga and Mega. But before they can get to them, Buster appears and asks why they are in such a hurry. Gilmer says they have some important news, but before he can say what it is, Blood stomps on his foot.

Blood casually says that they were just going to see Giga and Mega, and they're in a hurry. But to make things worse for the pair, Hydra appears, wanting to know what they know that is so important. He says he can make them look good if they tell him, so they do.

Devil Z gives Giga and Mega some instructions -they are to head to the Moon and meet with BlackZarak, and then bring him to the Earth immediately. Hydra and Buster then reveal Blood and Gilmer's news. They have found out that the Bomber Project is being constructed in Canada, at British Motors. Security there has been heightened, and Hawk and the other Cybertron Pretenders have all been seen there. Giga and Mega tell them to go there and destroy Godbomber, as the Cybertrons will be nothing without their leader.

At British Motors, the Headmaster Juniors return and Hawk is glad to find out Ginrai is OK. But the Bomber Project is entering the final stage, which will be the most difficult one of them all. They've got to be careful and test parts over and over again. But an alarm then goes off -the Destrons are heading towards them! Shuuta, Cab and Minerva head back up to ground level, where Lightfoot appears. He tells them that Ranger and Road King are also on the way to help them.

The Destrons start their attack. The three Pretenders are in their robot modes, whilst Hydra and Buster attack from the air.

Shuuta, Cab and Minerva fight the Pretenders, whilst Lightfoot has to deal with Hydra and Buster by himself. He leaps up and starts hitting Hydra, damaging his transtector. Hydra transforms, but Lightfoot grabs onto him and makes him crash into the ground.

Diver says they should help, and Hawk says that whilst he wants to, they must continue with the Bomber Project as it is nearly complete. If the Destrons find this underground factory, they'll lose everything. Meanwhile, Giga and Mega unite their transtectors to form Overlord. Overlord leaves the Destron base, and heads towards the Moon.

Shuuta and Cab are doing poorly against the Destron Pretenders, but Lightfoot is holding his own against Hydra and Buster. But to make things worse for the Destrons, Road King and Ranger arrive.

Lightfoot tells the Headmaster Juniors to transform and help put out the fires the Destrons have caused. Road King heads to where Hawk is, and says he has a plan. Back at the hospital, Ginrai asks a nurse if he can leave yet, as he fells fine. She tells him he needs a little more rest before going anywhere.

He tries calling British Motors, but nobody answers. He finds this strange and instead decides to use the communicator inside his Master-brace to call the Cybertrons. Meanwhile, back at British Motors, the fires are slowly being brought under control. Just then a truck speeds out of one of the factories.

Hydra says they must be trying to escape with the Bomber Project, so he and his brother go after the truck. The Destron Pretenders also try to follow it, but are stopped and heavily damaged by Lightfoot and Ranger. They can't go on and instead retreat.

Meanwhile the truck comes to a stop near some mountains, but as Hydra and Buster move in, they see that Road King is the truck driver. He jumps out, and merges with his transtector -the only thing that the truck was carrying.

Hydra and Buster decide to leave him and return to the factory, but Ranger and Lightfoot block them off. The brothers unite into their Darkwings mode, but the Cybertrons jump on them and start to tear parts of their merged transtectors up. They leap off, as part of Hydra's transtector explodes, forcing them to withdraw.

Later on, Ginrai arrives at British Motors. He sees the large amount of destruction caused by the Destrons, but he is glad to see everyone is alright. He is also glad to see that the Bomber Project is safe. It seems the Cybertrons are still powerful even when he isn't around! Road King yells at him -he's the one person they need to be around once this project is completed, so he'd better be completely healed soon!

Phoenix then has some news for them, as a friend of his on the Moon's weather observatory station has just told him that a UFO has landed on the Moon. The Cybertrons think it could be the Destron's new weapon. Hawk says that the Bomber Project is practically complete, so they will hurry and finish it.

Meanwhile, Overlord has landed on the Moon, and attacks the weather observatory base. The Destron terror continues to spread...
