A few of London's survivors notice what appears to be an angel in the sky. Blood from the dead continues to trickle through the streets. |

![]()

![]()

More things appear in the sky, and the people are convinced they're angels. But they aren't angels -they're the effects of flares being dropped by the forces of Archbishop Maxwell. Maxwell tells everyone they have come here for them, and that they are the righteous soldiers of the angels of death. Tonight, the world below shall know judgment! |

![]()

![]()

A fleet of helicopters moves in, as Maxwell says that England and the heathens are guilty, so they are now all sentenced to their death! He tells them all to prepare to be purged from the earth, mowed down like grass, and crushed like bugs! |

The Major says that kid can really put on quite a show, when his heart is in it. Doc appears, and says it's dangerous here. He asks the Major to come back inside, but the Major asks if the special project is ready. |

![]()

![]()

Doc says it is, but it's untested, and extremely risky. Schrödinger tells him his work was adequate, but Doc tells him it's not like he's done any work. Schrödinger says he's done plenty of work, he was watching Zorin and everything! The Major calls for all units to equip their ultraviolet battlements, and prepare to muster. |

![]()

As the Nazis get ready, the Vatican forces land and disembark from their helicopters. They stand in line, pointing their weapons at... |

![]()

![]()

...the Nazis. Maxwell says enemies stand to their left and their right, so they are to eradicate all who stand before them -execute them all! His forces open fire. |

![]()

![]()

The Deus Ex Machina starts to be hit by rockets. Doc again asks for the Major to come inside, as their armor plating won't hold out for long. But he sees that the Major is acting as a conductor -he sees the carnage as music, the music of the battlefield. |

![]()

![]()

As Maxwell's forces start slaughtering the Nazis, some of the helicopters move in closer to the Deus Ex Machina. One helicopter is about to fire on the Major, but gets split apart before it can. |

![]()

![]()

As it explodes, the Major tells his butler that his work was quick and excellent. Walter appears, but there is something different about him. The Major then laughs and says this plan in the works for half a century. |

![]()

![]()

Meanwhile, Maxwell's forces aren't just shooting Nazis, they also fire on anyone else they find. The people of London thought these guys had come to save them. But Maxwell encourages his forces to kill the filthy vermin, and says to feel the power of the Vatican -the only good protestant is a dead protestant! |

![]()

![]()

Integra happens to see his helicopter fly past, and says that he has betrayed them. Anderson says sneak attacks and betrayals are just par for the course in war. In some circumstances he'd even say they are worthy of praise, especially against heathens such as her. But this is different, and he can't let this pass. He thinks Maxwell has become enraptured by his own authority, and intoxicated by his power. They're meant to be mere instruments of a higher power, a blade in the service of God. |

![]()

![]()

But what Maxwell is doing tonight is not in the service of God, it's in the service of power! He yells that Maxwell has turned his back on God. Heinkel reminds Anderson to focus on his mission, which is to take Integra into custody immediately. Some of the Iscariots surround her, guns drawn. |

![]()

![]()

Maxwell says he still doesn't like this. Heinkel says what he likes doesn't enter into this, but Anderson repeats that he doesn't like this. Suddenly the ones around Integra get knocked away by a red streak of light, as Seras appears. She asks Integra if she's alright. Integra says she's adequate, and asks how their headquarters is. Seras says they were attacked by enemy soldiers, but managed to kill them all. But the mansion has been destroyed, and Mr. Vernedead is dead. |

![]()

![]()

Integra knows that Seras has sucked Vernedead's blood, and has now finally become a vampire. Heinkel and Yumie get ready to attack her, but Anderson tells them to stand down. Even with their powers combined, that girl is way too much for them to handle. Anderson says that Seras has become quite the fearsome creature. Seras tells him she's getting stronger all the time, and she doesn't think she'll be afraid of anything ever again. He says that her eyes have become windows to a bottomless abyss. It's striking, considering how human she looks otherwise. |

![]()

![]()

Both of them then suddenly look in the same direction. They've both sensed Alucard, who's finally arrived in London on the Eagle. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard jumps off the ship and into the city, landing in the middle of a group of Vatican soldiers. Seconds later, Anderson appears... |

![]()

![]()

...as does the Captain. As they stare at each other, the Major says the his force are on one side, the Vatican's are on the other. In the middle is the Hellsing organization, which has just three mighty soldiers remaining. The Major sees that all is ready, and the players have taken their place on the stage. |

![]()

Alucard asks his master for his orders. Seras has taken Integra to the roof of a building. Integra tells him that his silver gun shall stain the white army crimson, whilst his iron gun will stain the black army scarlet. He is to search and destroy -none may leave the island alive. |

![]()

![]()

She tells him to release control art restriction zero, and announce his return -says the words, and release his full power now! Alucard says he is the Bird of Hermes. As he says this, his coffin, which is in the wreckage of the aircraft he crashed into the Eagle, opens. He says here stands the Bird of Hermes, eating his own wings. |

![]()

![]()

Anderson then attacks him by throwing some bayonets, whilst the Captain does a kick at him before he retreats. Anderson then moves away, as the Nazis and Vatican forces open fire... |

![]()

![]()

...on Alucard, who has become red and black shadow matter. As Anderson leaps up, he says it's as if everyone here can feel it coming -something terrible is about to happen, and if they can't all put this monster down, they may all be doomed. Alucard says "to keep myself tame" as his coffin fully opens. Several playing cards fly out of the shadow matter... |

![]()

![]()

...which kill some Nazis. A bullet then tears through a Vatican soldier's head. Alucard has started to release his familiars -including Tubalcain Alhambra and Rip Van Winkle. |

![]()

![]()

More and more familiars appear around Alucard, as they start to fill up London's streets. |

![]()

![]()

Maxwell watches, and thinks it's impossible something like that could exist. Integra tells Seras this is the true face of the vampire. Blood is the currency of the soul, the vehicle of life. Blood is the medium by which life can be transferred on. To drink blood is to take the essence of a soul into one's self. Seras should understand the full ramifications of this, now. Anderson sees that the familiars Alucard has summoned include the forces of the Kazan and Yeniçeri, forces he had killed long ago. |

![]()

![]()

He thinks no matter how hard they try, they'll never be able to kill Alucard, and he wonders how many people Alucard has consumed during his time on Earth. Maxwell says that even men who were Alucard's own soldiers and subjects were consumed by him. Alucard then re-appears. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard was once known as Dracula -and his appearance now is what he used to look like a long time ago. His forces move forward through the streets, easily overwhelming all opposition. Maxwell wonders what this thing is that has been awakened. |

![]()

![]()

The Major says that death has been awakened. Doc is impressed with Alucard, calling what he has done magnificent. The Nazis and Vatican soldiers start firing... |

![]()

![]()

...but they can't stop Alucard's forces. Maxwell's helicopters fire, but many of them are shot down by Tubalcain or Van Winkle. |

![]()

![]()

Some of them contact the Bishop, begging for him to allow them to withdraw, but Maxwell gets angry -they should never call him that, they should address him as Archbishop! Just as he says this, his helicopter gets hit and crashes. |

![]()

![]()

This causes the cables carrying his truck to snap, and he falls to the ground below. He has survived and sees that he is about to be attacked, but they can't get through to him - he says this is hardened tektite compound reinforced glass, the dead won't even be able to scratch it. But a bayonet then pierces through the glass. |

![]()

![]()

The glass shatters, as Maxwell sees Anderson waiting up ahead. Anderson says they are the soldiers of Iscariot, the instruments of God's wrath on Earth. They shatter the dreams of the unrighteous and unholy. He says goodbye to Maxwell. Alucard's forces get to Maxwell. |

![]()

![]()

Maxwell begs Anderson to save him, but he does nothing. Maxwell then gets impaled, and thrust up into the air. Maxwell thinks if this is it -is he to die here alone? He thinks he was born alone, but he doesn't want to die alone. He calls out to Jesus as his last act, before passing away. |

![]()

![]()

Anderson walks to his fallen body and remembers that he once told him he would become great, and have his revenge on all who had wronged him. Anderson tells him he was such a foolish boy, and then closes his eyes. |

![]()

![]()

He then contacts the paladins, and tells them to return to the Vatican. The 9th Crusade expeditionary force has been completely destroyed. Their dreams have been dashed, so they're returning to the Vatican. Heinkel tells him he can't be serious, but Anderson tells her it's not her place to die here. He tells them all to retreat, and to return to the Vatican. They are to protect the Pope and the church until the end days. He is going to be staying behind, to fight Alucard and defeat him. Yumie asks him what he thinks will happen when he fights him, but Anderson says it doesn't matter. It's now or never, as Alucard has finally unlocked the last restraints upon his power. He's finally in a form he might be able to do damage to. Alucard has dispatched all the warriors from his stronghold, meaning the lord of the manor stands alone -Dracula stands alone. He knows that this is what that Major wanted -all of this was to make Alucard vulnerable. |

![]()

![]()

Anderson says farewell to his allies, and tells them not to weep for Maxwell. As he departs, Yumie and Heinkel call out his name. |

![]()

![]()

Meanwhile, Alucard kneels before his master. She sees that the count has returned. Seras is also glad her master is back, and sees he seems to have grown a moustache. Alucard reaches out to her... |

![]()

![]()

...and pats her on the head. He calls her by her real name, and is clearly proud of what she has become. Anderson then drops down and clashes with Alucard. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard congratulates his nemesis on his attack. Anderson says he is a servant of God, an agent of diving punishment on Earth. He was called on to cut away the flesh of infidels, and remove from the Earth all those who would defy God. The two clash again. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard tells him he has become a formidable warrior. Anderson asks him if he's ready for more, and Alucard says he is. He tells him to try and pierce his heart. The two resume fighting, and Anderson throws out multiple bayonets. |

![]()

![]()

These get shot down by Alucard. He tells Walter that the Jackal is the perfect weapon. Anderson resumes his attack. |

![]()

![]()

He is hit by one of the Jackal's bullets, which damages his arm. Alucard leaps back, as his forces confront Anderson. Anderson is then hit by one of Rip's magic bullets... |

![]()

![]()

...and Tubalcain's cards. Alucard asks Anderson what he's going to do. He asks what he thinks his chances are -one in a hundred, one in a thousand, one in ten thousand? A million? A billion maybe? Anderson says he is more than prepared to destroy him, no matter what the odds are against him. |

![]()

![]()

The Major listens to communications from his own forces, which are in disarray. But he isn't bothered, and tells his new butler to bring him some cocoa. He says that London has been destroyed, the crusaders have all perished, and the last battalion is dying in the streets. Alucard is down there, and he sits here. He thinks this is perfection, and everything is proceeding just as he planned. Meanwhile, Anderson continues to fight with Alucard's forces. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard tells him he's injured, and his arm is hanging by a few strands of meat. What is he going to do -will he die like a dog, or on his feet like a man? |

![]()

![]()

Anderson bites into his arm to pick it up, and says this wound won't stop him. He tells Alucard to fight him, and hurry -hurry! Alucard says this is excellent, and that humans are such fascinating creatures. Anderson charges forwards, slaying anyone who gets in his way. |

![]()

![]()

He throws out several bayonets, which are linked together by chains. These all explode, as Anderson continues to run forward. He says he wants more. |

![]()

![]()

As Alucard watches him, he thinks about how Anderson reminds him of those other men, who defeated him. He wants Anderson to try and rum him through, and pierce his heart. As Anderson continues, he sticks a bayonet into the mouth of a large foe, who survives, and grabs his arm. |

![]()

![]()

Anderson then sees more enemies approaching him on horseback, each one armed with a spear. But before they can attack, they get shot down. Anderson turns around and says he told them to leave. |

![]()

![]()

Heinkel and the others have appeared, and she says if they did went back they'd no longer be soldiers of Iscariot any more. Yumie slices the head off of the large guy who'd attacked Anderson. Yumie reminds him of the things he taught them, but he wanted some of them to survive, and carry on their work. Too many have died today already. But as he's about to charge full speed into hell, he might as well have some company. |

![]()

![]()

The forces of Iscariot charge. The Major is watching, and says countless little lives struggle together. Like tiny cells making up a great beast, struggling towards its own elimination. Seeking blood, whilst spilling blood. He says they are all united now by the same thing, and tells his dark brethrens it's a dream come true. |

![]()

![]()

As some of the Iscariots get hit, they blow themselves up, taking as many enemies as they can with them. Yumie and Heinkel keep fighting... |

![]()

![]()

...as Anderson breaks through and reaches Alucard. Alucard is impressed with him, and tells him to show him more. Anderson brings out a box and tells him that he isn't the only one who carries a mighty weapon. The box shatters, revealing a nail. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard knows what it is -the Shroud of Turin, the Holy Grail, the Lance of Longinus... he assumes Anderson is threatening him with the last of the lost holy relics of Rome. That lingering scent of blood and miracle... it must be the Nail of Helena. Anderson is about to stab himself with it, but Alucard tells him to stop. He says that thing will cause him to become one of God's monsters. He tells Anderson to maintain his humanity, and not succumb to power. He wants to know if Anderson would push this duel between them beyond the realms of mortal life. If he was to be defeated, it must be by a human. |

![]()

![]()

He tells Anderson not to do it, he must not become a monster like him. Anderson says he wants to become a bayonet, a bayonet wielded by the hand of God. He would have been happy being born as a terrible force of nature, without a heart, or pity. And if this relic can transform him into such a thing, then he's happy to abandon his humanity. |

![]()

![]()

He stabs himself in the heart with the nail, and Alucard calls him a fool. As Anderson gets back up, Alucard approaches him, calling him a bloody fool. But Alucard is then attacked. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard gets his arm and head sliced off. Despite this, he returns fire with the Jackal, blowing Anderson's head off. |

![]()

![]()

As Alucard reforms, he sees what the relic has done to Anderson. His body is covered in thorns, as Alucard says that Anderson's body is no longer that of a man. Only by gouging out each other's hearts can either of them die now. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard starts shooting. Both Alucard and Anderson can now heal wounds instantly, and Anderson's thorns are capable of countering Alucard's shadow matter. |

![]()

![]()

Alucard tries shooting at Anderson's heart, but some thorns get in the way of the bullet, blocking it. Anderson then jumps up, high into the air. Alucard aims up at him... |

![]()

![]()

...but Anderson throws a bayonet through his head before he can fire. The bayonet has thorns erupt from it, and Alucard drops his gun. |

![]()

![]()

The thorns entangle Alucard, and then catch fire. His army of familiars also catches fire, and soon everything is ablaze, including Alucard himself. |
