At the Ferdinant Lukes orphanage, Father Alexander Anderson sorts out a scuffle between two boys -why are they fighting? They'll never get into heaven doing that! Violence is never the right answer, unless you use it against monsters. They apologize, so he tells them to go to their rooms. As they run off, another man arrives. This man is part of the Iscariot organization, something Anderson is also a member of. He reveals that there have been many vampire attacks in England. Anderson isn't too bothered about this -if a vampire wants to eat some protestants, what business is it of theirs? The man says that there is another problem: the Hellsing organization, who've been doing a better job of keeping the damage to a minimum then Iscariot thought they would.

Anderson doesn't care about that either, as in his eyes, Hellsing are amateurs. Iscariot has been fighting off the forces of darkness several centuries before Hellsing even existed. Anderson then asks why the Iscariot agent has even been sent to tell him these things, as if the problems are in England, let the English deal with it. The agent says the attacks aren't just in England. There has been an attack in Northern Ireland, in a town called Badrick. Hellsing is already on the move, which is something he isn't happy about, and Anderson is disgusted also. They shouldn't have entered Catholic land, and Anderson is given the task of dealing with the vampire before Hellsing does. If the Hellsing agents confront him, he is not to be challenged by heretics.

"If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed at his coming. God save you from your fate. Amen."

In Badrick, Alucard and Seras have already arrived and are working their way through a ghoul-filled mansion. Alucard is shooting down everything he comes across, and soon Seras also joins in.

Seras seems to be getting more and more excited as she continues to fight, and her eyes once again change color. Alucard tells her that when she aims, make sure to put a hole through a ghoul's heart or head. These people didn't become undead by choice, and there isn't a way to change them back. It's for their own sake to put them to rest as quickly as possible. Seras acknowledges her master, and then resumes shooting.

As she wipes out the remaining ghouls, she takes down the last one with physical attacks. Alucard watches as she stares at her blood-covered hand, and she is about to lick the blood off her glove when suddenly she gets stabbed in the back with multiple bayonets! She falls down.

Blessed pages fly around the corridor, and Alucard knows what this is: a barrier. Father Alexander Anderson then appears before Alucard, stating that he is an agent of God, and instrument of His divine punishment on Earth. His mission is to wipe out every last bit of flesh of those fools who oppose God. Amen.

Back in England, Integra receives a report from one one of her agents, who has found out that the Vatican special operations unit, the Iscariot Organization, is on the move. They've sent just one agent: Father Alexander Anderson. Integra knows that this is bad, as God knows what would happen should Anderson run into Alucard and Seras. She decides to go to Badrick herself, and heads out via helicopter along with two bodyguards. Walter is left at the HQ, and told to keep trying to contact the Vatican.

Back at the mansion, Anderson walks forward and says that there is a beautiful moon out tonight, doesn't Alucard agree? Seras isn't dead and groans, which Anderson enjoys listening to. He tells her not to worry, as she won't die yet. He didn't pierce her heart. He hasn't had a good hunt in a while, so he's going to enjoy this. He and Alucard then exchange names and who they work for, although they already seem to know about each other.

Alucard asks what Anderson did to the vampire here. Anderson has already killed him -he was a disappointment as he didn't even have time to enjoy it. Now Alucard and Seras are the only ones left. The two walk past each other and then stop. Anderson then spins around, plunging his bayonets right into Alucard's neck.

Alucard isn't dead though and pulls out his gun, shooting one shot directly into Anderson's head. Father Anderson is dead, and as Alucard removes the bayonets from himself, he calls the Father a brave man to just attack him in the middle of the night without trying to catch him by surprise. A brave man, but also a foolish one.

He goes to help Seras, but then they both realize something: Anderson isn't dead! He's back up, and once again manages to stab Alucard. Alucard leaps into the air and resumes shooting Anderson, knocking him down for a second time.

But Anderson gets back up again, and resumes fighting. He gets knocked back but then throws out many bayonets. Alucard shoots them down, but is distracted by them long enough for Anderson to lunge forward and crash into him.

He knocks Alucard's gun away from him and then pins him to a wall by stabbing through his hands. Alucard sees that the bullets he hit Anderson with are just falling out of his body -which means Anderson is a "regenerator". Anderson tells him that that is correct, he is a biological weapon created by the human race to defeat vile monsters such as him. He then follows his attack up by shoving several more bayonets through Alucard's body...

...before finishing him off by decapitating him, sending his head flying towards Seras. Anderson laughs, saying that was that really it? Alucard was Hellsing's ultimate weapon?! What a disappointment, the bloody Protestants screw everything up. He then turns around to see that Seras has gone. He didn't think that she'd be able to get away after what he did to her, so it seems he underestimated his little Draculina.

Seras is slowly walking away, and painfully removes each of the bayonets from herself. She also has Alucard's head, and asks her master not to do this -she can't leave him, as she can't do this alone. Before she can say anything else, another bayonet is thrown, hitting Alucard's head...

...and pinning it to the wall. Anderson appears, asking Seras where she thinks she's going. There's nowhere to run. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. They are nothing more than dust, and to the dust they shall return. Amen. Seras knows she has to get away and find Sir Integra, and tries to open a window. But as soon as she touches it, she gets shocked. Anderson tells her the spiritual barrier he created, and it's impossible for vampiric creatures such as her to get through it.

Seras thinks it's all over and that she's going to die, but then she hears Alucard's voice, telling the police girl that this is no time for her to lose her head. Alucard's own head then melts, becoming a pool of blood. Seras hears Alucard again, who tells her to drink his blood. If she drinks it, she'll never be treated like a slave again, and she'll truly become one of them. She can drink the blood of whoever she wants, and become powerful and singular. He tells the police girl again to drink, and then finally calls her by her real name.

Seras hesitates, but Anderson appears behind her and says that it's over. But just as he is about to strike her, his bayonets get shot to pieces. Integra and her men have arrived, and she tells Anderson that girl belongs to her. What is he doing here? He wants to know why she's appeared personally.

She tells him that this is a violation of their agreement. They have this situation under control, so he should withdraw immediately. She doesn't care who he thinks he is, this act of aggression ends now. Anderson can't believe she thinks he can give him orders, does she really believe he'd run away screaming for a filthy protestant whore? He dashes forward, and even though Integra's bodyguards start firing, he kills them both and then clashes with Integra, who just about gets her sword out in time.

Anderson calls Integra weak and worthless, and he's already decapitated that vampire of hers she likes to parade around. Integra laughs and says is that all he did? Seras then gets up, retrieves her weapon and points it at Anderson, telling him to get his hands of Sir Integra. Integra tells him things don't look good, but he doesn't agree. He thinks she's insane as he's about to paint the walls with the two of them. Integra tells him to make it quick, as the vampire he "killed" will be coming back to life any second now.

Sure enough, thousands of bats enter the mansion. As Anderson swipes at them, Integra tells him that Alucard is nothing like any vampire he will have ever known. 100 years of the Hellsing family's knowledge produced this achievement: their crown glory, the vampire Alucard!

Alucard is back, and he and Anderson immediately clash again. Anderson doesn't seem to have been hit but Alucard has, as his arms are sliced off. But he forms them both back within seconds.

Integra asks if Anderson is beginning to understand -what will he do? Anderson says he'll leave, as he'll need further preparation to kill this one. He removes the barrier and vanishes along with his pages, but not before telling them that they'll meet again and next time, he'll kill them all. Integra starts smoking and asks Alucard if he's alright.

Alucard tells her that he hasn't had his head cut off for a while. Integra says that the Vatican will suffer for this, but that isn't their priority right now. There is another organization that is responsible for all of these vampire attacks. When the times comes, she'll give him orders to destroy them. Alucard then goes to Seras and asks her why she didn't drink his blood earlier. She says that she isn't sure why, but it felt like if she drank it, it would mean the end of something important inside of her.

Alucard calls her an idiot and then walks off. As he goes he thinks that maybe the police girl has a point. Perhaps it's time for a vampire who doesn't walk alone in the night. Integra asks why he turned her into a vampire in the first place. Alucard asks why himself, but then says that it could have been for fun, or for sport, or maybe it was just on a whim. It seems that all these years he's spent with humans has finally rubbed off on him. Maybe he's developing a sense of whimsy. He then tells the police girl that they're leaving.

Seras runs after Alucard, but tells him that her name isn't "police girl". It's Seras Victoria. He tells call her a coward and to just shut up, as she is a police girl. Police girl will do. Seras thinks he's really mean!

NOTES

In the manga, Alucard decides to take a break during the shootout, and tells Seras to take over whislt he feeds on some medical blood. This bit doesn't happen in the episode, although the rest of the scene is pretty much the same.
