Synopsis

Jan is about to kill Fargason, but Seras arrives and shoots him before he gets the chance. She carries Fargason off to safety, whilst Jan quickly revives, surprised that there is another vampire to deal with other than Alucard. In the conference room, everyone discusses what to do. Plans to use a helicopter to escape are thrown out when Luke destroys it. Seras takes Fargason to where the remaining injured Hellsing soldiers are. Alucard is there and is going to wait for Luke, whilst Walter tells Seras to go to the third floor with him, where Integra is.

Jan and his ghouls arrive at the third floor. The ghouls get destroyed by Walter and Seras, and whilst Jan attempts to kill Walter, Seras stops him and gets him into a hold. Walter starts to question Jan about who sent him here. Meanwhile, Luke finds Alucard and starts to fight him. The two shoot each other at pointblank range, but both survive and resume fighting.

Jan reveals he has another army of ghouls, this time compromised of fallen Hellsing soldiers. As Seras fights with them, Jan makes a break for the conference room. Meanwhile, Alucard tells Luke he'll show him how a real vampire does battle. He changes forms to that of a dog beast, which terrifies Luke. Luke realizes he's not in Alucard's league at all. Alucard shoots both of his legs off and encourages him to fight back, but Luke calls him a monster. Realizing that Luke is just a disappointment, Alucard consumes him.

Jan blasts down the conference room doors, only to be shot in the face by Integra, who fires mercury ignition bullets. Integra wants to know the name of his master, but he just starts laughing and clicks his fingers. As soon as he does this his entire body bursts into flames, and soon there's nothing left of him other than a pile of dust. Elsewhere, Alucard walks away down the corridor, leaving only one of Luke's guns behind.

Manga Differences

-The anime specifically shows Luke blowing up the helicopter with the rocket launcher, whilst in the manga it's not shown who did it.

-In the manga, none of the Hellsing soldiers survive. In the anime, several of them do.

-Integra calls Walter and they discuss what they're going to do. In the anime, this conversation between the two doesn't happen.

-In the manga, the scene where Walter, Seras and Alucard discuss what to do happens before Luke and Jan have a phone conversation. In the anime, these scenes happen the other way around.

-The manga has a scene where Seras and Walter use the vents to get to the conference room. Walter speaks to Integra about their chances. This scene isn't in the anime.

-In the manga, Jan has more dialogue during the part where Seras has him in a hold. He is surprised that Seras is a vampire and also tells Walter about his and his brother's plan. The anime doesn't have this dialogue.

-The small scene where Luke blows down a door happens slightly later in the manga than it does in the anime.

-Seras simply lets go of Jan in the anime. In the manga, he hits her to get her off.

-In the anime, Jan has a watch that starts beeping to signal when the Hellsing ghouls are ready. This doesn't happen in the manga.

-In the manga, all of the Round Table members shoot Jan, whilst in the anime, only Integra does.

-In the manga, Alucard changes forms after Jan has been shot up, in the anime these scenes happen the other way around.

-In the manga, Luke starts shooting at Alucard when he's about to finish him off. In the anime, he starts firing before Alucard changes one of his arms into the dog beast.

-Alucard kills Luke in the manga before Seras calms down. This happens the other way around in the anime.

-Integra is the one who calms Seras down in the manga, whilst in the anime, it's Walter who does it.

-In the manga, Walter kicks Jan into a wall and Integra then shoots him several times. This doesn't happen in the anime.

-When he dies, Jan has a lot more to say in the manga, including the name of his group: Millennium. In the anime, Jan just laughs before he dies and does not say "Millennium" as the manga's main bad guys aren't in the anime.

Notes

-At the end of the credits, there is a shot of Alucard's sunglasses. One of three characters can be seen in them in each episode: Alucard, Seras or Integra. In this episode, Seras is seen.
