Synopsis

An MI5 agent called David goes to meet Luke Valentine and presents him with a card. Luke says that card is a ruse, anyone who brings one to him is an enemy of the Valentine brothers. At Hellsing HQ, Walter presents Alucard with the Jackal, a new handgun which Alucard thinks would be powerful enough to take down Anderson. Walter then presents Seras with a new weapon: the Harkonnen, a massive cannon. Back at the nightclub, Luke has David killed. He tells his brother Jan that he found a cross on him, meaning he was part of some special ops unit that deals with vampires and ghouls. Luke decides to take action against this group.

Hellsing receives a call from someone claming to be under attack by vampires, not knowing that it's Jan making the call. Hellsing's forces deploy to the target building, only to find a single vampire that they easily kill. However, Seras realizes there is a bomb inside the building. The team are able to evacuate the building seconds before the bomb explodes. Everyone returns to the Hellsing HQ, where a Round Table conference meeting is being held. The members of the Round Table, which includes Integra, discuss the rise in vampire attacks along with Hellsing's activities to stop them.

The Hellsing HQ is then attacked by Luke and Jan, who ram a tour bus full of ghouls through one of the mansion's walls. The armed ghouls quickly leave the bus and start to make their way through the mansion, killing the Hellsing forces that try to stop them. Fargason tries to organize the remaining troops, but he is then found by Jan. Jan doesn't want to suck his blood due to him being old, but doesn't thinks shooting him would be much fun. Integra tries to contact Fargason, but then hears a gun shot.

Manga Differences

-The David character is not in the manga.

-The first time Luke and Jan are seen in the manga is when they arrive at Hellsing HQ. For the anime, some new scenes of them were added, such as them at the nightclub and attacking the people in the building.

-The scene where the Hellsing forces nearly get blown up was not in the manga.

-The Round Table scene happens earlier on in the manga, before Alucard gets his new gun.

-Also, the discussions that happen with the Round Table members are different in the manga. Integra shows everyone one of the chips found in a vampire, and Penwood is not confrontational at all.

-Before Alucard gets his new gun, the manga has a scene where Walter explains to Seras that he replaced her bed with a coffin. This scene did not make it into the anime.

-In the manga, Alucard then enters and questions why he sucked Seras' blood. This bit was also cut from the anime, and instead Seras enters the room Alucard and Walter are in.

-When Luke and Jan arrive at Hellsing HQ in the manga, there are two guards. There is only one in the anime.

-The Valentine brothers have two coaches of ghouls in the manga, whilst there is only one in the anime.

-In the anime, Luke kills the guard himself, whilst in the manga, the ghouls kill the two guards.

-The Hellsing forces wear different uniforms between the manga and anime.

-It isn't clear how the ghouls get into the mansion in the manga. The anime shows them ramming one of the busses through a wall.

Notes

-David is not named in the episode, but his name is listed in the credits.

-At the end of the credits, there is a shot of Alucard's sunglasses. One of three characters can be seen in them in each episode: Alucard, Seras or Integra. In this episode, Integra is seen.
