Synopsis
Demitri and Morrigan find out that there are few Darkstalkers left on the Earth, and Morrigan believes someone is destroying them. A Darkstalker was killed in South Africa recently, so Demitri tells Lord Raptor to investigate. Raptor finds Hsien-Ko, a hunter of evil, who attacks him. Rikuo, who had been sent to investigate a possible new Darkstalker by Felicia, appears, and Hsien-Ko mistakes him for another evil Darkstalker. |
Raptor manages to get away, whilst Rikuo traps Hsien-Ko in a bubble and explains that he's not evil. He releases Hsien-Ko, who reveals that a long time ago, her family was killed by Demitri. She managed to escape, and one day entered an ancient temple. She ate what she thought was rice, only for it to be ground topaz, and it transformed her. Becoming a hunter of evil, she tracked down the Darkstalkers and took them out, all for the Lady of Mercy. Morrigan is them beamed down and attacks, but Hsien-Ko is able to defeat her. But when Morrigan learns of her hatred for Demitri, she arranges for him to be beamed down, under the false pretenses that Hsien-Ko wants to join their side. |
Demitri beams down, but is attacked by Hsien-Ko. He manages to hold her off but then the sun rises, causing him to cower. He summons a coffin and hides in it. Rikuo then grabs Morrigan and tells Hsien-Ko to destroy her, but Hsien-Ko refuses, explaining that Morrigan kept her word and brought Demitri to her -she goes free. |
Morrigan is beamed back up to the ship, but then, Demitri's coffin is also beamed up. Hsien-Ko tries to stop it, but she bounces off the beam when she touches it. She believes she's failed, but then Quan Yin, the Lady of Mercy, appears. Quan Yin tells her she has learnt tears again, compassion for herself, not just the rest of the world -that's a victory in itself. Hsien-Ko hugs her, and says she is indeed the Lady of Mercy. As Quan Yin disappears, Hsien-Ko tells Rikuo to call if he needs her -no matter where she is, she'll hear him. Elsewhere, Felicia and Harry discuss what's happened, and Felicia is just glad Hsien-Ko knows there are good and evil Darkstalkers -they don't want a second Donovan to watch out for. |
-The host says "Sasquatch" at the start of the episode, rather than calling him a Bigfoot. Nothing technically wrong with that, it's just weird they didn't go with consistency. |
-When Ship displays the locations of the other Darkstalkers, a few pictures of Earth are shown. It looks like there were meant to be some lighting dot effects for these shots to show where the Darkstalkers were, but no dots can be seen. |
