A Wish Which Spits Out Blood!

Kenshiro meets Asam.

Kenshiro asks Sara why her father did not go out and defeat the evil clan threatening his Kingdom before he became ill, as he clearly would have had the strength to do it. Sara starts to explain, whilst Asam returns to his throne and tells a guard to not let anyone enter. Alone, Asam starts to walk towards his throne but stumbles and falls, just as Sara enters. Sara helps him up, but then he notices that there are other people around -Kenshiro and Ryu have also entered.



Asam yells at his daughter for letting them in, and becomes even more angry when she says Kenshiro is here to save his Kingdom. Now that Ken has seen that he is ill, he cannot allow him to leave. Asam fights Kenshiro, but his Daijou Nanken is not strong enough to kill Kenshiro, who blocks or evades his attacks. Kenshiro lets him live, saying that an ill man like Asam cannot defeat him. Just then, Kenshiro reveals two clan members hiding in the throne room, who have seen everything.



Kenshiro kills both of them and Ryu tells Asam about Hokuto Shinken. Asam realises that this man, Kenshiro, is worthy enough to take his Kingdom and offers it to him. He must take it and eliminate his three successors -Kenshiro finds out that these three people are none other than Asam's own sons!
