Raoh, the fearsome ruler of the century's end, has returned. And a new player has appeared: Ryuga of the star of Sirius.

Ryuga: Who, in this chaotic world, will seize the rainbow?

Ryuga: The rotten branches must be cut down!

Kenshiro: Taishan celestial wolf fist...

Ryuga: My name is Ryuga. My star of destiny is Sirius.

Raoh: Ryuga, what reward do you desire?

Ryuga: If you would allow it, I'd like to fight with Kenshiro.

Forgive me, Sister!
It is my Star's Destiny to Confront the North Star!!

Raoh and part of his army are marching through the wasteland. As Raoh waits at the edge of a cliff, he thinks about Ryuga, and how the star of Sirius has sworn loyalty to him. But he wonders what is driving him to pursue Kenshiro... he doesn't understand it.

Kenshiro is at a busy village, where a lot of trading is going on. He happens to notice several guys suspicious guys running around. The guys, led by Jinom, get ready. Jinom tells his friends that they've got no option but to do this.

They suddenly attack the marketplace, and Jinom tells everyone to grab everything and then run. One of them grabs an old man, and tells him to get out of the way.

Something suddenly hits his hand. Jinom and the others try to figure out what happened, and see Kenshiro. They ask if he just did that, and two of them point crossbows at him. But he flicks a pebble at their masks, knocking them off.

Kenshiro jumps down, but Jinom threatens to cut him up. Kenshiro says nothing, so one of the guys tries to attack him. Kenshiro leaps up and uses him as a stepping stone.

Another two guys attack, but Kenshiro breaks their weapons before they even realize it. Jinom then tries to attack...

...but he gets knocked down easily as well. He tells Kenshiro to go ahead and do as he wishes. Kenshiro asks him why they're doing this -why act like thieves? Jinom says it's none of his business, but when Kenshiro cracks his knuckles, he decides to explain. If they don't gather up this food, everyone in their village will be killed...

A large man called Sabato entered Jinom's village. Taking the place over, he eats all of the food there, but complains to the village elder that he's lost 66 pounds since he came here. The elder tries to explain that he's eaten all the food they could gather, they have no more here. Sabato suggests he should get it from elsewhere, as other villages should have plenty. He encourages them to just steal it. The elder says they can't just do that.

Sabato has him tied up, and several crows rip him apart. Sabato then tells Jinom to gather his friends together, and go and get some food. Jinom refuses, as he's not a thief.

Sabato takes Jinom's girlfriend, Mami, and says he'll feed her to the crows. Jinom says he'll do it, so Sabato tells him to be back before sunset.

Back in the present, Jinom says they don't want to be bandits. Kenshiro tells them that if they bring Sabato one meal, he'll just make them do it again. And if they keep repeating that, they'll become the real villains. Jinom says to just kill him already, but Kenshiro asks him why he doesn't fight. If he's ready to die, defeating some low-life thugs should be no problem. He tells them to take him to their village. Nearby, Ryuga and Garou are watching.

Garou asks Ryuga if he'll challenge Kenshiro, but Ryuga says it's too soon. He wants to see what Kenshiro is up to first. At Jinom's village, Sabato thinks that Jinom's group must have run away, so he decides to have Mami executed. Mami's mother asks him to wait, as she is sure Jinom will return.

Sabato slaps her out of the way. Another villager tries to attack Sabato, but he just bounces off his flab. Sabato crushes him, and says lively young men like him are so cute.

Mami's mother tells her daughter that Jinom is doing all he can, and asks her to forgive them for their weakness. Mami says she understands, but asks that if she's ever reborn, she'd like to be born in an age without all of this violence. Sabato tells them to quit crying and cheer up -they should start laughing!

A truck then arrives back in the village, as everyone realizes Jinom has returned. Sabato tells everyone not to be so hasty, and wants confirmation that he's actually got the food. Two of his guys go into the back of the truck, only for Kenshiro to grab their faces.

They suddenly get launched out of the truck, and land into Sabato. Sabato pulls them out of himself, and asks them what's wrong. They can't say anything, as their heads explode.

As Sabato drops them, he then sees Kenshiro, and isn't pleased he hurt his men. He orders more of his men to get Kenshiro, but as they charge, he defeats them with strikes so fast it doesn't even look like he's moving.

Soon everyone who tries to attack Kenshiro is dead. Sabato decides to confront Kenshiro himself, and says going up against him is a big mistake. Kenshiro says that guys who steal food from others die in the strangest way.

Sabato tells him to shut up, and then leaps forward. He tries to squash Kenshiro, and seemingly lands on him, only to find that he's missed.

Kenshiro gives him a kick, causing him to roll over. As he wonders how Kenshiro was able to dodge his attack, Jinom and his guys suddenly attack Sabato's remaining men.

Sabato's men surrender, as Jinom unties Mami. They then watch as Kenshiro knees Sabato in the face.

Sabato says he's really mad now, and pulls out a spear. He starts making a series of rapid thrusts, but not a single one manages to hit Kenshiro.

Kenshiro gets behind him, hits a pressure point on the back of his head, and then tells him he's already dead. He then says he has a suitable ending planned for him. Sabato turns around, but then the effects of the pressure point being to happen. Sabato realizes he can't move, but he can also smell something.

Kenshiro says he's hit the pressure point known as suisho. It's causing Sabato's body to give off the stench of blood. The crows suddenly attack Sabato, and start pecking him all over.

Jinom tells everyone to watch carefully, as that could have been them if they'd taken another wrong step. Sabato then bulges up and explodes, leaving the crows to feast on his corpse.

Later on, Mami's mother thanks Kenshiro, as the others say they won't let any more villains ruin this village. Nearby, Ryuga wonders why everyone is so cheerful.

He thinks about how he fought alongside the Fist King, and suppressed many villages. The Fist King ruled them through fear, and the bleak looks on villager's faces made them look like they were the dead. But the people down there are so cheerful and full of life. He tells Garou that to settle this chaotic world, a great tree is needed. Even if its conquest is through fear... he says that the time has come. He must fight with Kenshiro!

Kenshiro leaves the village and heads through some ruins, but a spear is thrown at him. He looks up and sees Ryuga. Ryuga says he is the star of Sirius, the lone wolf of the heavens. And now, his fangs will prey on him! He tells Kenshiro to fight him, and charges down.

Kenshiro leaps out the way, so Ryuga picks up the spear and throws it again. However, Kenshiro catches is, and throws it back.

Ryuga destroys it with one strike, and then leaps up from his horse. Ryuga tells him to take his stance, and to fight. Kenshiro asks what for, and Ryuga tells him for this era. He leaps over and tries to attack again, but Kenshiro moves back.

Ryuga eventually manages to corner Kenshiro, who still won't fight back. He tries to attack, but all he manages to do is knock Kenshiro's hood back. Kenshiro asks him why he's doing this.

Ryuga says it's his destiny. He's a stray who belongs to neither the North Star or the South Star. That's the fate of Sirius. He tries to attack again, but Kenshiro starts blocking his strikes rather than just avoiding them.

He then jumps out the way, as Ryuga asks him why he won't fight. Kenshiro tells him that whilst he has a cold look in his eyes, they still haven't lost their shine. Ryuga uses another technique...

...but again, Kenshiro avoids it. Kenshiro leaps back, and Ryuga follows him. They stare at each other, but Kenshiro then walks away. Ryuga doesn't follow him, but instead, takes out a pendant.

He opens the pendant, which has a picture of Yuria inside it. He tells his little sister that he doesn't know which great tree this world needs. This world is moving so fast... he asks Yuria to forgive him, but he must fight the man she loved.
