Kenshiro was battered by the man of the polar star, the Holy Emperor, Souther. Meanwhile, the resistance leader Shu, of the South Star white heron fist, was captured by Souther as he saved the children.
Souther: This is the end, Shu!
Shu: Kenshiro, listen to me! Listen to the scream of my soul! KENSHIRO!
The Bloody Holy Cross Mausoleum! Shu!
My Heart Will Hold Your Tears!!
Outside, many of Souther's men nervously wait. They here screaming down the tunnel, so they get one guy to go and check it out. The soldier slowly walks down the tunnel, where he encounters Kenshiro.
He is suddenly launched upwards, scaring the soldiers above the tunnel. Once the dust dies down, everyone sees that it's the guy's head poking through the ceiling. They look back into the tunnel, and see Kenshiro walking towards them.
Kenshiro heads outside, and says Shu's name. He starts to walk by the soldiers, who are all too nervous to attack. But one of them plucks up enough courage to accuse Kenshiro of trying to run away.
Kenshiro just glares at him, which is enough to stop him in his tracks. Kenshiro heads on, when a large guy holding a boulder appears. He tells Kenshiro that he'll end his life right here.
He decides to prove his strength by smashing his head through a rock. But the moment he does, this Kenshiro then kills him with a single punch, and tells him to get out of the way.
As Kenshiro walks off, the wounds on his body start to bleed. Some of the soldiers are confused by how Kenshiro is even still alive, as he should have been sliced up by the Holy Emperor's cross fist. Kenshiro then stops, as Bat and Lin arrive. Bat thinks that the star of benevolence has awakened Ken, and nothing can stop him how -not even his bleeding wounds.
Kenshiro screams out, ripping his bandages apart. The wounds on his chest stop bleeding, and are healed. When Souther's soldiers see this, they decide to run away.
At the pyramid, Shu is lashed several times. As he falls to the ground, Souther says it's ironic: Shu has rebelled against him, but now he kneels before him. He tells Shu that he will be the one to complete the Holy Cross mausoleum. Four of his men bring over the final piece: it is the holy stone, and Souther wants Shu to carry it to the top.
At Raoh's fortress, Raoh holds a stone in his hand. He crushes it, and then feels the wound on his shoulder. He thinks that he's almost healed.
One of his men then reports that Kenshiro has set out for Souther again. Raoh gets up and thinks Kenshiro is a fool, who is rushing to his death. Souther's secret has yet to be unraveled. He thinks that Kenshiro's fate has now reached the end as well.
At Mamiya's village, Toki has decided to leave. He tells Mamiya that as the South Star drifted apart, the North Stars have assembled. As the South Star fades, the North Star appears... Kenshiro will now surely appear before Souther. He has something he must tell Kenshiro, and Mamiya knows he's the only one who can help him. Toki tells her to treasure her memories of her time with Rei. He then walks away from the village.
Back at the pyramid, Souther tells Shu to go on. The four men place the stone over Shu's head, and he has to hold it. As he starts to move, blood spurts out of his leg wounds.
Souther tells Shu to not dare drop that holy stone, as if he does, he'll have the children killed. Shu starts to slowly make his way up the steps, but he has a long way to go. Souther believes that Kenshiro will appear sooner or later, and when he does, he'll be a human sacrifice for the Holy Cross mausoleum.
Elsewhere, Kenshiro comes across another group of Souther's men. He tells them to move out of the way, but they think he's been severely wounded by the Holy Emperor. They rush towards him, but he starts taking them out.
Kenshiro quickly defeats the entire group. One of them asks how the Holy Emperor hasn't killed Kenshiro by now, but Kenshiro just tells him he's the one who's dead. The soldier then explodes.
Back at the pyramid, Shu continues to make his way up the steps. Souther thinks that the mausoleum's apex would be lacking something if it wasn't carried by a successor to the South Star holy fist. He tells Shu that the mausoleum shall be completed by the man who defied him to the very end.
Shu continues to walk, but then stumbles. He nearly drops the stone, but manages to hold onto it. Souther tells him that the stone he's carrying must not touch the ground -if it does, then the hostages will pay with blood. Shu looks down, and sees a soldier with both of his swords drawn against four children. Shu gets back up and tells everyone not to worry -this stone carries no weight when compared to their precious lives.
He starts walking again and says that even though he may burn out, he shall carry this stone with his spirit. As everyone else watches, one of Souther's men, Rizo, can't stand it any more. He runs up the pyramid and heads towards Shu.
Rizo stops next to Shu, and asks the Holy Emperor to at least let him bandage Shu's wounds. Souther thinks he has some nerve, but Rizo says that he and Shu trained in the South Star holy fist together, and wants Souther to allow some sympathy.
Souther tells him that if that's what he wants, he'll allow it -but it will be in exchange for the lives of his entire family. Rizo drops to his knees and tells Shu he's sorry. Shu thanks him, and says that his sympathy is enough for him. He tells everyone to listen to him -there's no need for any of them to act.
He says that have acted in their hearts, and knowing that their hearts have moved is more than enough for him. Some of the kids are crying, but one of them tells his younger brother to keep his eyes on Shu -he should engrave this sight into his memory. Shu is going to die for them, and they are all his sons.
As Shu continues to walk, the children being held back push away the soldier's swords, and step forward to watch Shu.
Shu hopes for his sons to live strongly. Souther thinks Shu can carry on this drama as much as they like. He can see that Shu's agony will echo throughout the land, and bring Kenshiro back to him. And Kenshiro will be defeated under the secret he holds.
Nearby, some of Shu's men have managed to get away, and decide to try and find Kenshiro. But they get cut off by some of Souther's forces, who reveal that they've been ordered to kill them all.
But before they can do anything, they see someone walking towards them: Toki. Souther's men wonder what he's doing here, so he tells them that the stars have guided him. He wonders if the stars are telling him to be the pathfinder for Kenshiro. Souther's men think that Toki is a sick man, so if they rush him, they can take him down.
They all charge, but Toki gracefully moves between each of them, and starts taking them down.
He leaps up and strikes them from the air, and they have no clue about what's going on. Toki lands, and seconds later, the soldiers all explode.
Nearby, another unit of Souther's soldiers lies in wait for Kenshiro. They want to kill Kenshiro nice and slow, but then the Fist King suddenly appears behind them.
Not wasting any time with words, Raoh does a single punch that kills four men instantly.
Raoh thinks they're all useless, even as a warm-up. Most of them are in utter fear of him, but one of them says to not break formation. Raoh sees that Souther has made some preparations... but this is just foolish.
Souther's men go on the attack, but Raoh also charges. He hits a guy so hard that it shatters his head.
His attack was him just using his fighting spiritual energy, hitting the man before he could even get close to him. The man's body is sent flying into some other soldiers, knocking them down. Raoh the starts throwing out more attacks...
...and soon the entire unit has been defeated. Raoh and the Black King stand alone amid a pile of body parts.
Later on, Kenshiro comes across the scene left by Raoh, and is just in time to find a man who says he must warn the Holy Emperor about the Fist King. But the guy then explodes. Kenshiro thinks that the tears of the star of benevolence have summoned the North Star.
