Southern Cross, the mysterious city said to lie in the southern lands. As they searched for his beloved Yuria and Shin, the man who stole her from him, Kenshiro and his companions continue their wanderings. But, day by day, the attacks from Shin's armies grow more and more intense. Saki's brother, Temujina, a slave who escaped from Shin's imprisonment to tell Kenshiro the location of Southern Cross, was killed by his pursuers.

A Nightmarish All-Out Battle!
My Fists Pack 100 Volts!!

Now knowing the possible location of Southern Cross, the elder of Jima city shows Kenshiro a map with where the city may be. He asks Kenshiro if he really intends to go there. Kenshiro says King is the man who stole everything from him...

Having defeated Kenshiro, Shin told him that there was a very definite difference between them: ambition. He told Kenshiro that he had no ambition, and then took Yuria away.

Back in the present, Kenshiro swears he'll kill Shin. The elder brings out a box of grenades, and tells them to take them and go. He says these grenades were for use if they were ever in a desperate battle, but tells them to use them. Kenshiro says he appreciates the thought, but he doesn't need weapons. The elder tells him he is not the only one on this journey, there's the children as well. The road ahead is going to be rough, and they won't know how King intends to attack them.

Bat tells Ken that they should just take them, so they head out and load the car up. As they're about to go, Jennifer pulls up on her bike and says she's coming with them. A lot of her friends from her village have been killed, so she wants to help them ruin King's plans.

The group leave the village, but as they do, they are immediately seen by Hydra and his armored buggy army. Hydra says they'll be taking the glory for this, and has everyone charge after them.

Kenshiro's group see that a lot of vehicles are heading towards them. Jennifer explains this is King's buggy army, and it hasn't taken them long to show up. Kenshiro has Bat speed up, and then drift the car to the left. Bat does so, and it creates a huge sand shower, which hits Hydra's army.

Kenshiro uses a couple of grenades to blow up some of Hydra's vehicles, which lets his group get away. Hydra orders everyone to go after them.

They start throwing axes and spears at the group, but Jennifer takes out a couple of guys with her crossbow. Bat gets Lin to help out by using some grenades -she tosses them over the back of the car, causing some more of Hydra's vehicles to explode.

Another car gets very close to the group, so Kenshiro leaps out and kills the driver with a jump kick. As he lands, several chains gets wrapped around his arms. Hydra says even the man with seven scars is no match for six of his buggies. He tells his forces to kill Kenshiro, and the buggies start reversing...

Meanwhile, Bat and Lin are being chased by some bikers. They have spikes on their wheels, and try to puncture Bat's tires, but he suddenly slams on the brakes.

The two bikes end up launching off a sand dune, and collide in the air. They explode, but as Bat and Lin celebrate, Jennifer rides over and asks them where Kenshiro is.

Bat and Lin head back, and find several wrecked buggies. But they also find Hydra! He starts laughing at them...

...but then his head bulges up and explodes. Kenshiro soon appears, as Jennifer runs up to them. Not far away, someone from King's army has seen everything, and goes back to Southern Cross.

At Southern Cross, Shin finds out that Kenshiro is on his way here. Balcom says that they have had a definite report from their scouts. Shin says he won't let Kenshiro set one foot into Southern Cross, and tells Balcom to send out the South Star train cannon. Not long later, the train is sent out, blowing a hole through the warehouse it was in.

The commander of the train cannon, Toda, says he will use this weapon to finish the man with seven scars. As Shin and Joker watch the train leave, Shin says the time has come to finish this. The train heads off, with several vehicles heading along with it.

Kenshiro's group continue to cross over the desert. They stop when they come across a huge city, and believe that this must be Southern Cross. Bat says they should go in, but then they all hear something in the distance. The train cannon has arrived.

It takes aim at the group, as Toda tells the man with seven scars to prepare to die. He gives the order to fire, and the cannon shoots a single shell.

Kenshiro's group get out of there, as the shell explodes behind them. It causes sand to go everywhere, and by the time it has cleared, they see a massive crater created by the shot.

Toda asks them if they now see the power of the South Star train cannon. He says it gets more destructive the closer it gets to a target, and orders for the train cannon to move forward. Kenshiro's group are hiding in a building, and Bat asks what they should do -if they get hit by that cannon, it's all over. Jennifer says with a gun that big, they'll have a while before it'll be able to fire again. Outside, Toda says he'll send the man with seven scars to hell.

Jennifer runs off to her bike, and says she's going out. She tells Ken that he must kill King, and then starts to ride off, straight towards the train cannon.

When Toda sees her, he thinks she's just a stupid meddling mouse. He gives the order to fire, and another shot is sent out. The shot is right on the mark and when Jennifer realizes this, she has no time to move out of the way. She gets hit and is blown away by the blast, killing her.

Ken sees this and gets angry, as he rips apart his jacket and runs towards the train. Toda sees him, and immediately starts to panic -he tells the firing team to shoot.

However, they have to reload first. They get a new shell ready, but by the time they've reloaded, Kenshiro is stood on the cannon itself.

He says that Jennifer will be avenged, and tells them all to prepare to die. Toda's men grab some weapons and go to attack, but Kenshiro takes them down in seconds:

HOKUTO JUU RESTU HA

(North Star Line Smash Wave)

The men twist out of shape and explode. Toda orders a retreat, as he and his remaining forces drive away. Kenshiro says there's no escape for villains, and goes inside the train. He tells the two guys left to follow Toda, unless they want to die as well.

The train cannon is soon on the move again, but it suddenly comes under fire from heavy artillery. In the distance, a large battleship is the place where Toda has retreated to.

Toda says this is his hidden fortress, and they've renovated this old, sunken battleship. He gives the order to fire again, and there are explosions all around the train cannon.

However, none of them actually damage the train cannon, and Toda thinks Kenshiro is some kind of monster. He realizes what's about to happen too late, as the train smashes into the battleship.

Toda gets up and realizes Kenshiro is right next to him. He runs off and hides in a room.

But he then hears Kenshiro's footsteps, and wonders what to do. He picks up a pipe and waits next to the door, but Kenshiro smashes through the wall behind him.

Toda runs off, but has nowhere to run too. He says he's sorry and asks to be forgiven, but Kenshiro calls him a fool -does he really think he'll have any mercy for him? He hits a single pressure point on Toda's head, and tells him to die.

Toda is split in two. Kenshiro then hears something outside, as a fleet of gyrocopters arrive at the battleship.

Balcom says the end of the man with seven scars is finally here. He and his army start dropping bombs all over the battleship, causing it to catch fire and start exploding. Kenshiro slowly starts to make his way out.

Later, Bat and Lin arrive at the battleship, but there's no sign of Kenshiro. At Southern Cross, Balcom reports that he's killed the man with seven scars. Shin laughs and asks if Kenshiro is finally dead, and Balcom says that he must have died in the desert, along with that battleship. Shin asks Yuria if she heard that -Kenshiro is no more!

As day turns to night, Bat and Lin have remained at the battleship. But Kenshiro still hasn't appeared, and all Lin can do is scream Ken's name.
